My daughter received a speeding ticket which could have been the final straw in her losing her license. Mr. Scruggs was somehow able to convince the officer to reduce the speeding violation by 1 mph which saved us more than $200 in fines. He also convinced the judge to reduce the points from 4 to 0 in exchange for my daughter taking a defensive driving class. Mr. Scruggs scheduled the trial, called the morning if the trial to brief us on his plan, then called us the same day after the trial to give us the results. He followed up within 48 hours with a written letter detailing what my daughter had to do next. He handled everything 100% over the phone which saved us time and money.

After getting hit with a $250 speeding ticket and potential points on my license (plus potential increased insurance costs), Mr. Scruggs was able to get my ticket negotiated down to a citation with no points and the fine reduced by almost $100. I didn't have to show up to court or anything. I simply sent in a copy of my ticket and they took care of it all. I would highly recommend Mr. Scruggs as it took a lot of the headache out of having to deal with an already frustrating situation.

Unfortunately, I was hit by an uninsured motorist which resulted in an injury. Since I had never been injured in a motor vehicle accident before, I was unsure how to navigate the entire process. Jack Gordon of Maney & Gordon, represented me in what was one of the most difficult and heart wrenching experiences of my life; the wrongful death of my youngest daughter due to gross negligence on the part of a hospital.
Jack worked very hard and diligently for me and more importantly, for my daughter. He was so well prepared to try the case that he very much wanted to take the case to trial. As a preliminary step before trial, we entered mediation with the defendant hospital. Jack negotiated very persistently on our behalf and we were able to reach an agreeable settlement. Having known Jack for many years on a personal level, I immediately turned to him when I was faced with a serious legal matter in April 2015. I was able to obtain liable information on handling a family matter and termination of temporary custody. I was able to contact and discuss situations regarding my children with Will at anytime. I had an issue with my landlord; my apartment flooded, and despite my repeated attempts at contact, the landlord did nothing about it, so I was forced to hire a company to come deal with my flooded apartment. The landlord then falsely claimed it was my responsibility to pay the bill, despite clear language in the lease that it was their responsibilty because I hired this company without their permission, even though I only had to do this because they weren't doing anything themselves!
After months of not being able to resolve this, I finally sought out Mr. Wolbers. He took my case immediately, on a totally reasonable contingency. The entire duration of the case he was prompt, polite, personable, and professional. He did everything I wanted, and more, and I just now received my settlement for the dispute, for the entire amount I was asking for, including all the legal fees I had paid!
I would recommend Mr. Wolbers to anyone who asked, I can't think of any way he could have handled my case better.

The decision to hire Mr. Tyson to represent my fiancée on his vop charges for absconding was one of the best I've made in my life. While all the other attorneys in the area were overcharging me (I guess cause we're New Yorkers) and telling me the case was complicated and would most likely carry a prison sentence, Mr. Tyson was different. He took the time to personally consult with me on the phone for over an hour on a Saturday and his price to handle the case made the competition non existent. The extradition ride took 8 days and Mr. Tyson had all the charges dropped within 4 days and not my fiancee is on his way back to NYC with his name cleared all thanks to the fabulous work of this superb attorney. We had hired Jason to represent us after being rear ended December 2019, my husband ended up with a severe whiplash and several bulging and herniated disk throughout his spine, he needed surgery to repair the major injuries in his neck. Mr. Whittemore is a sharp, very responsive, attentive, professional. He always politely spoke the facts. He kept me informed at all times. The end result was that we won. Amanda made a difficult time in my life much easier for me. I explained my complex and complicated situation to Derek, and he picked up on it right away, and agreed to work with me in the way I wanted and needed, and lastly we agreed on a fair and reasonable payment for the services. Derek lived up to all of my expectations.

I cannot praise Ashby's assistance to the heights to which he deserves! My vocabulary doesn't have enough superlative words to adequately portray how wonderful he was in handling my legal "woes". He was wonderful in every aspect of this awful "experience with a terrible moving company" concerning the moving company's destruction/"loss"(think THEFT) of my property which had supposedly been in air-conditioned storage for over two (2) years --( I was moving from my home on Marco Island, Fl to Gulf, County,Fl and required storage as I was building a new home). The moving company was AWFUL, but with Ashby's skillful work and handling of my case, I was able to receive a much higher settlement from the moving company than I ever would have without his representation. I have had occasion to deal with lawyers throughout my life--in fact, my daddy had an LLB from Cumberland Law School ( class of 1934) and received a J.D. (as you know- a Doctor of Jurisprudence) at a later time--although daddy only did Pro Bono work since he was primarily a businessman and farmer in Florida and Alabama. Anyway, Because I have been around "legal stuff" my whole life, I really appreciate when I encounter someone like Ashby who is knowledgeable , skillful, hardworking, and compassionate in dealing with my very stressful situation. He was always extremely attentive to me and my situation and even though I may have been overly upset at times, he always made me feel like I could contact him at any time for any reason. I only wish he were closer to where I live now--but I still would not hesitate to request his help in the future--distance is no hindrance in the way in which he handles legal matters. His law firm should put him on the "fast track" to being a Partner--people/lawyers like Ashby are diamonds in a too often pile of legal coal chunks, as I'm sure you know. His honor/honesty is impeccable--I'm sure Martingale-Hubbel will have an AV rating by his name--he IS an "A" lawyer--and he has the "Virtute" (virtue) to boot!! He deserves a huge raise in salary--and if your law firm is smart, you will hang on to him with "everything you've got"!!! Footnote: Because of Ashby Davis' wonderful handling of my case/situation, I gave him my deceased husband's iconic and official US Navy leather pilot's jacket from the Vietnam war era.
