Gerald was patient (our case ended up not being as clear cut as we thought.) He would talk us through very confusing situations, was very knowledgeable. I would panic, he would call me to assure me it was going to be fine. He did that more than he probably was required but I was so grateful to have him in my corner helping us out. The customer service is very disappointing! Do they really care about their clients? I feel unwelcome at this law office. They don’t respect people’s time and make you wait over an hour after you took the time to schedule the appointment. This is the 5th time they do this to me and it gets worse when they say wait for my call because they won’t call you. The bad part is that I Paid for the whole service already. Probably that is why they treat me like trash.

I have been very impressed with Seth Hanson Law. Bankruptcy is stressful and my case was somewhat more challenging because I have been based overseas for some time. SHL was my third or fourth try at finding a firm that knew how to handle my circumstances.
From the get go in my dealings with Spencer and Crystal to them setting me up with a call with Mr. Hanson and then to my more in-depth dealings with my case manager Chris; the whole process was handled professionally, efficiently and with the utmost care.
I was very reassured that Mr. Hanson had experience with international clients in CA bankruptcy cases. He showed a command of my particular situation that I couldn't even get through the front door with the other firms. I had tried doing research on my own as well and as a layman, found it very complex and confusing. Frankly, it didn’t seem feasible until I engaged with SHL.
I spent the most time with Chris going through all the steps and information required. He was very detail oriented and methodical. He too had experience with clients in bankruptcy who are based overseas. Things like exchange rates and different tax regulations can make the process a little more tricky. But Chris worked alongside me and always came back to me promptly when and where he needed more information. He is an excellent communicator and stayed on top of things in a timely manner.

Bait and switch! I filled out and submitted a form for a free consultation on my wife and I's immigration case and then two weeks later they emailed me saying there was no free consultation and that it would cost $400.00 to talk to an attorney for any sort of evaluation/consultation. Not only is this rate upwards of double or even higher that of most attorneys in the field, it clearly states on their website that they offer free consultations and they don't. False advertisement!

In my own opinion as a former client Termechi law group did a very poor job in my case. Bobby Termechi has been very aggressive in pushing me to settle on the first offer. He literally said I was guilty of what the company was claiming. He also gave me $500 out of his own pocket to settle, then retracted it after I agreed. He did send it once the company cut the check but it was very unethical. I’ve literally had to fight against the company and my own attorney to get a proper settlement. And now, after repeated requests for my case file to be sent to me as is my right and being told I would have it by this Friday, again nothing. I even fired them and they refused to be fired. I DO NOT recommend this attorney and his firm.

There is no question how difficult and heavily emotional the divorce already is for the person. Going through a difficult and stressful period in my life where my finances were becoming too overbearing to deal with, I felt my only option was to file for bankruptcy. I visited a couple different BK Lawyers. But it was Mikalah that was referred to me by a lawyer that was retiring, and said he'd hoped to pass on his practice to Mikalah because of his skill level. Anyway true he wasn't the cheapest I talked to but when your talking BK, that's nothing I want to get cheapest deal when we're talking this magnitude of an issue. His professionalism was outstanding, and preparation was acceptional. I'd highly recommend him. Even the judge was impressed with his oganization.

I want to thank you again, Mr. Collier. You helped us through this bad situation from the beginning to the end. My wife and I decided to file bankruptcy in July due to Covid-19. We couldn't afford the business rent, credit card debts, and etc.. We had contacted several bankruptcy lawyers at that time. The other lawyers are either very expensive (charge $3000-7000) or unprofessional until I found Mr. Collier on Avvo. I left a message for Mr. Collier. Joseph helped my wife through a difficult bankruptcy. She had unresolvable personal tax debts amounting to $75,000 left over from a deceased husband's past financial mistakes and extreme medical bills caused by an unfortunate accident and lousy healthcare thanks to the Obamacare health law.
Joseph was extremely helpful in getting us organized, making sure we had every document ready to go for court. We only had to personally appear in court one time. Joseph was always available by phone and email and promptly answered all our questions. Even when we had questions months after the case was finalized, he still answered our calls.
Joseph went far beyond our expectations and we highly recommend him. We didn't choose him just because he was affordable. We chose him because after interviewing several attorneys in the area, he communicated the best with us and had a realistic plan. Ultimately, his plan worked.

I don’t typically write any reviews but Shiela was so Amazing from the initial consult to the end of the case that she deserves people to know what a professional, compassionate, kind attorney she is. If your looking for the best attorney than stop looking. I liked her immediately because she listened without any judgments, she didn’t rush me off the phone, she really listened to my case. It was so refreshing to find an attorney that was so good at what they do, make your feel comfortable, and pass zero judgements and care all at the same time.
