I am a former police officer who was injured during a defensive training class in which ultimately resulted in a career ending back surgery. I applied for disability retirement through the city that I worked for and I was advised to seek legal council. When I met with Mr. Sapourn he was very honest with me as he explained that he had never been hired for a case such as mine. He assured me that he would work hard and do his homework on this case but couldn't guarantee the outcome. During the process Mr. Sapourn was very informative and would answer any questions or concerns that I may have had. He was always on time and prepared for every meeting that we had with the city. Simply put, David Black is among the very best in North Florida at his work. I was the victim in a rear end auto collision that caused significant and permanent damage to my spine, and suffered chronic and serious injuries as a result. I initially went to another firm that is very well know, and the two experiences couldn't be more different. While the other firm was very friendly and available during the initial sign up, everything changed once I was a client. The attorney who represented me felt a phone meeting was sufficient for our first consult instead of a face to face, and I only spoke with him personally twice over a period of nearly two years as a result. The entire time my case languished (unknown to me as I was solely focused on my recovery) and I was constantly ignored, call backs were always from a different aid at best, and they insisted I would have surgery to correct the issue if I ever wanted a significant recovery, or else the case was worth very little, despite major and devastating injuries. Eventually I tired of the disfunction and began searching for a new attorney. I came across David after researching many firms carefully, and once he agreed to meet with me face to face to go over my case (without any signed client agreement yet), upon meeting him I know he was the right fit immediately. Within approximately 9 months David was able to successfully negotiate a settlement with both my and the at fault driver's insurance, out of court and without ever filing a lawsuit for the policy limits of both. Throughout the entire process he was always available, responded to multiple emails in the same day, and navigated multiple complexities due to specific factors of my case with grace and ease. Humble, intelligent, and warrior are words that cross my mind when I think of David Black. He is as easy to talk to as another shopper in a grocery store, and highly efficient. I simply cannot say enough good things about David R. Black. I would recommend him to anyone and he will be the only personal injury lawyer I would ever use in North Florida again. Mark Weinstein was referred to me by a lawyer at Turnberry Associates, with whom he had worked. She was very impressed with him, with good reason, given the stories I'd heard about other lawyers in his field.
Mark succeeded in allaying all my fears regarding the litigation process - I was hesitant and fearful of taking any sort of action. Mine was a very complicated case, and Mark kept me apprised of developments and advised me accordingly. It was our great fortune that Mark Weinstein came into our life. Looking back on our situation, and having had the time to consider circumstances and events that presented a dire need for his unequivical competence at what he does it had to have been fate as well. When you need someone who is thoughtful, considerate of your situation and ready to give you all there is to really resolve what you need stop right here. He did all he could and more, he never gave us cause to question his judgement. In the end the legal justice we did achieve the legal justice we so badly wanted. We are quite certain there are less than a handful of attorneys in the U.S.A that could have achieved for us what Mr. Weinstein did . Mr. Weinstein led us through the legal consequences of the unnecessary loss of our 23- year -old daughter from medical malpractice. 5 different doctors , many nurses and the hospital were responsible for letting her die. After 3 years of unbelieveable preparation and presentations by Mr. Weinstein, we were victorious on all counts.
We had the choice of being invoved in the process as our emotions would allow. He was respectful of our feelings and we could not have endured the process with out the human touch we recieved during the darkess time of our lives.
You often hear about the monies that attorneys make in these cases. He deserverd and earned every dime he was paid. God Bless Mark and his family!

My son was charged with a very serious felony for which he was subject to a minimum MANDATORY sentence of 10 years in Florida's prison system. We hired Mr. Ali. He did not promise miracles and was entirely honest with us. Mr. Ali managed to get our son out of jail on bond and into a drug rehab center. He helped us jump all the hurdles. Our son was able to remain free on bond for 26 months while he received the addiction help he needed. When the day came to finally plead the matter, Mr. Ali convinced the prosecutor and the judge to credit our son with the time he was out towards his sentence, resulting in our son only having to do 10 months in prison. This was incredible! Mr. Ali fought our son's case every step of the way. He was always available to us and he was relatively inexpensive. We went to one of the Big Guys in town. He wanted 10x Mr.Ali's fee and told us we would be lucky if our son did not do at least 6 years in prison. That guy needs to go to the Tom Ali School of Law! Great Job Tom! Thanks

I have known Terry for more decades than I care to admit. He has helped me with great success each time I needed his services. The most important case was an appeal in which he was successful. Although I have not hired him I know him personally. He is a man of integrity. He does not have to advertise because he has a wonderful reputation. He does the right thing and would never mislead you at all. He is not greedy just a man whom does what he says he will do for you and is trustworhty and truly does uphold the law does not try to pull any thing over with anyone, he is definitley a man whom I would recomment to anyone for legal advice. He may be a little expensive but he is worth it. He has the expereince and deserves what he gets as far as his fees are concerned.
