I was hit from behind on my way to work on January 22, 2014. My 2 year old car was totalled. I incurred neck pain and a pre-existing back condition was aggravated by the impact which eventually resulted in my having back surgery. The auto insurance companies, as they are prone to do, were being difficult and I felt I was being rail-roaded due to my lack of knowledge in this type situation as to responsible parties to injuries and damage incurred. Also, my medical insurance provider was being difficult since a 3rd party was involved. Dwight Feemster was recommended to me by someone I totally trust and so I gave him a call. At that point Dwight took over; he handled each issue promptly and professionally. I felt at ease knowing he was working this out for me. The entire process was completed in just a few months time, not years as I had expected. In short - Dwight Feemster is awesome! I would (and will) recommend him to anyone who needs legal help.

Mia Frieder
Mia worked on a car accident case for me from 2014 to 2017. I had numerous treatments and in the end had to have major back surgery. The insurance Company never made me any offer of settlement. Mia was able to obtain settlements from three different insurance Company.
I can cannot say enough about Mia. You could not ask for more in an Attorney. Mia is a caring person and puts the client first. She takes time to understand her client’s needs and works one on one through out the process. She keeps you up to date on your case at all times. You are never left in the dark as to the status of your case. From day one she was like a very close caring friend and remained that way over the (3) three years she worked with me.
Her Husband Ron Hilley also was very caring and sportive through out the process.
I would be remiss If I did not mention Mia’s office support. They were excellent through out the process as well especially Vanessa and Brian. You could not ask for more support and understanding in trying times.

After I had fallen at work I hired an attorney who said that my case was not worth much money. I then hired Ron Hilley who got me a settlement many times the amount that the first attorney said my case was worth. While my workers' compensation case was going on, Mia Frieder told me that she thought that we could sue the building for my fall. The building owners would not settle without a lawsuit. Mia and Ron filed suit and got me a confidential settlement with which I was completely satisfied. I have recommended Hilley & Frieder to friends who said they were pleased.

I was falsely arrested for a DUI with a negative alcohol result. I approached Robbie with my story and he immediately began his investigation into my case. Robbie dug deep and found the officer had been fired for breach of oath among many other problems with the officers testimony, and went to battle with a new solicitor in the county to ensure my case would be treated fairly.
Today we prevailed and all charges against me were dismissed, including the original 'tag light' violation.

Nick has handled several different types legal matters for me. He assisted me with both of my parents estates, he was the closing attorney on several different real estate transactions, he handled an eviction for a rental property I own when I lived out of state, and he helped both my son and husband with moving violations. Our mother needed care for a number of aliments including dementia, Parkinson’s disease, and diminished vision. We sought care in a licensed facility. Eventually, we learned that our mother sustained numerous falls, including falling out of a wheelchair while being transported by staff; falling in her room and later discovered by staff with her head lodged between nightstand and bed; and other incidents which remained unreported to family. Eventually, mom died. We sought answers from Ken Bernard and the legal team at Sherrod & Bernard, P.C. Although nothing will bring mom back, we feel a sense of peace knowing that Ken’s team did everything they could to make sure the pain and suffering my mother endured while a resident at the facility would not happen to others. We strongly recommend that you should consult with Sherrod & Bernard, P.C. if you suspect a family member has been a victim of nursing home or assisted living neglect.

I highly recommend this attorney. He represented me in a car accident case last year in Oconee County. The insurance company initially did not want to pay much more than my medical bills and was giving me the run around. Mr. Haskell promptly filed a lawsuit and was able to get a great result for me at a time when my family and I needed it the most. He always returned my calls promptly and worked very hard on my case.
