I cannot express how grateful I am to Jim. My case seemed unendin since it had been dragging on for two years, by the fault of the court continuously pushing my hearing dates out. All the while Jim was very patient, helpful and attentive to me. I thought there was no hope for my situation but Jim fought for me whem we finally got our day in court. I had previously used two lawyers which were of no help, I was then referred Jim by a family friend. His fees are reasonable and he isn't out just to make a quick dollar. Not only is he very personable, caring, knowledgeable and upfront but so is his wonderful assistant who's also been a huge help to me. I was in an awful place regarding a custody matter. I was referred to Mr. Geddes, but I could not pay him. He represented me pro bono. I was supposed to pay him for his travel expenses, but he even waived that. He is a wonderful person and a wonderful attorney. I highly recommend him.

Tom Gullotti represented me thru my divorce in 2014/2015 and helped me most recently in 2021 with child support proceedings. He came highly recommended by a mediator in Carlsbad and by two other attorneys, and a co-worker. He is an excellent communicator, straightforward , ethical and honest. I cannot say that about the behavior observed from several other attorneys that represented my ex. and observations in the court room with other attorneys. Hired and initially good. I believe he is a good person. However, as my case progressed, poor guidance was given and it cost me physical protection from my abusive ex. When the case got complex, he clearly preferred to believe another attorney and showed more concern about his reputation than fighting for a little girl who was strong enough to report her abuser. When he was released from his position, he neglected to produce documents in his care that cost me over thousands of dollars. Still fighting in court to get payment due to his negligence.

A year ago I found Christopher John on Avvo, and because of good reviews I decided to go to their office for consultation. In the office I got a free consultation from MR Hannosh who works in Sunnien Law as an attorney. He said that they work together with Christopher. He was very nice and helpful and I decided to hire them to work on my divorce case.
I worked with Sunnien Law and Mr Hannosh on my divorce case.
I paid them for my divorce 4000$ in advance. As soon as I realized that Sunnien law spent all this money, I wrote them a letter that I don't want to work with their agency anymore, because I don't have a job and money and I am actually an international student. In 2 month they sent me an invoice and said that I have to pay them almost 4000$ on top of what I already paid.
I feel like these people tricked me because my English is not very good. They did a very bad job with my divorce case. I finally went to the court alone. They did everything to charge me as much as possible and do a very little job.
They work very badly, don't pay attention to details and they don't care about the result. NEVER hire them.

I hired Ms McManus and am extremely happy I did so! She is very sweet and compassionate as well as aggressive! My first meeting with Sandy lasted almost an hour and she didn't even charge me! I read her reviews and have to disagree with a prior review saying their case went on forever. Courts only address so much at each hearing which was not her fault. Her rates are more than fair and I would highly recommend her to anyone in need of representation!

Sandy has worked on 2 divorces for me. She'll be working on my prenup first if I ever marry again!
The first case she gave me such comfort because we could work together in her office and it did not seem like such a mystery. She was tough and effective. The other attorney had to step off the case after Sandy pointed out some questionable antics. Tough and knowledgeable. Comforting and honest.
The second case the other attorney seemed to be snowing us with paperwork to bring up their clients bill. I could see it and thought the OTHER SIDE was sloppy, dishonest, and ineffective in comparison to Sandy. Sandy is accurate, honest and effective.

I hired Kaleen for a restraining order case which I was super happy about her helping me out with and winning the case. I then proceeded to hire her to take care of my divorce and child custody and we’ll then things just went down after that. Kaleen and Andrew don’t go above and beyond for their clients. They don’t answer all questions and are not reliable. With my case being so on going, they both decided to just give me the substitution of attorney without finishing my case even though I’ve payed for all services. I felt more anxious and overwhelmed my last hearing while being represented by them. If you want an attorney to have your back and fight for you, they will not be the right people for you.
