Christian Conrad and his entire team are some of the most caring and dedicated people I have ever met in my entire life. You go into these horribly traumatizing situations in life and have to rely on strangers, and what a gift I was given these incredible bearers of light during this horribly dark time. You can count on Christian and his team to genuinely care about your case. The office is organized, well managed, and everyone there makes sure you never fall behind on your case. The office is beautiful and serene. They send copies of what they file, and you’re always informed as a client. Every time I have had to talk to anybody at the office, even during the most horrible times in my case, I was always able to find peace because of the incredibly humanizing experience it is to deal with literally any person there. I have always felt cared about, organized, informed, and respected. After getting to know the amount of law offices that I have in this time in my life, I can safely say that this office is a rare gem and if you’re in Christian Conrad or Chris Gross’ line of sight, you’re not just in a line of sight- you’re in good hands.
Not only is this office absolutely outstanding, I had a rare case that it seemed like no one would be familiar with. Just when I felt like I was completely out of luck, Christian took a case nobody wanted to deal with and his team went above and beyond to make this experience as peaceful and organized as possible and I cannot reiterate this enough. I hired Christian Conrad on the recommendation of a friend. Christian has to dive into a complex and agonizing custody battle due to the lies and false allegations from my ex-husband. Even with the documentation I provided the court to substantiate the lies and false allegations, the Judge ruled in favor of my ex-husband who has a criminal record and an unstable home life. As a teacher, I value integrity and ethical practices. Christian also reflected these core values and demonstrated "best practices" in court.
Christian will be honest and direct with the facts instead of sugar coating decisions. His candor is essential to comprehending the law and how it will impact your case. The family court system is flawed and there are no checks and balances for unethical behavior. Christian has been my "voice of reason" throughout this challenging ordeal.

I retained Maria's services to assist with the asset portion of my divorce after my previous attorney basically did nothing. Maria familiarized herself with my case immediately and took to the task. Without going extensively into my nightmare case here's the short version: my ex used any and every tactic and dirty dealings to avoid compliance with my court order to sell our home, pay monies, return my vehicle and provide documentation. I retained Ms. Main about 6 months into my existing case after firing my first attorney. I was terrified and scared and discouraged because of my previous experience with the court system. My previous attorney dropped the ball and Ms. Main came into the picture and had to clean up his mess. From day one, she remembered every detail of my case and I was 100% confident in her court room appearance as well as all of the paper work that her office filed. She always put my son’s best interest ahead of anything else. She is truly ethical and was so professional in the court room even when the judge and opposong council left me with a sour taste in my mouth. She never stooped to their level and always stayed professional and fought for what was right! She is extremely knowledgeable and is “the smartest person in the room” (inside joke). Opposing council was a loud mouth and should actually be a criminal defense attorney, not a family law attorney. It’s actually disgusting how horrible other attorneys can be. HOWEVER, Rebekah is someone you want on your team. Child custody is heart breaking and gut wrenching. It’s expensive (however she is fairly priced and doesn’t charge above and beyond like most). After over two years from my initial hearing, my case finally was resolved and I am so grateful that I can now put the nightmare behind me. Let me add, it was opposing who consistently dragged out our case, not Rebekah. She wanted resolution as much as I did. She is extremely valuable and as far as I’m concerned one of the best attorneys I have ever known. Her staff is also awesome! I felt like they knew me on a personal level, I never felt like a business transaction. I am telling you now, if you are searching for a child custody attorney, do not waste your time looking elsewhere, hire Ms. Main. You won’t regret it. If I could give her 100 stars I would. If I could give Angela 10 stars, I would. She is absolutely amazing! If you are looking for a lawyer in the Lake County or Sonoma area, I highly, highly recommend her. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable about the ins and outs of the law, but she is also incredibly kind! We all have dealt with lawyers that are, for lack of a better word, jerks, and kind of look their nose down at you. This is 100% not Angela. She is kind, down to earth, and very intelligent. But don’t let her kindness fool you, she is a bulldog in every sense of the word. She will fight for you, like you were her own flesh and blood.
One of the worst things that could happen to you, is being accused of a crime. I myself faced a bogus charge from a jilted ex lovers new fiancé. This charge had the ability to take my career for me, and Angela made sure that did not happen. Court dates and court matters bring a huge amount of stress, but with Angela handling my case, I was able to take a breath and focus on work and my home life, and still know that my case was in the most capable of hands.

Angela Carter is an incredibly compassionate and empathetic person. She is also an excellent attorney. She expressed deep concern for what I had been through and turned an embarrassing and upsetting situation into something I could use to learn and grow. Brian Myers is the best attorney anyone can hire in Santa Cruz County. He has been my attorney for six years. This man knows the law and will fight for you with honesty and integrity. That may not be important to everyone, but it was, and still is, important to me. There is a reason why he is the Santa Cruz County Family Law Bar Association President. They chose well.
I met with Brian for a consultation 3 months before filing for divorce. I explained my dire circumstances and he listened. He didn't set a timer or watch the clock (like the others) and went well over the allotted time. Unlike some of the bottom feeders I met with, he showed compassion and I sensed this was a man who took his code of ethics seriously, which is very hard to come by with divorce attorneys. Let's face it, there's a special place in Hell for most of them. I told him I wasn't looking to hurt my soon-to-be ex-husband and he was okay with that. I thanked him for his time and left his office to consider what I would do.
Three months later, I knew I had no choice but to file for divorce. I called and asked to speak with him. He was surprised I was calling him at that time; not because he thought it would work it out, but because it took me 3 more months before I finally walked away from an impossible situation. His compassion was palpable. He asked for a very reasonable retainer and had my divorce filed and served within a week. There wasn't one hiccup.
My case inevitably became horribly ugly a few months later when an emergency custody request was necessary. He took care of everything and it was seamless. I then needed a Domestic Violence Restraining Order, which he secured for me for three years and then renewed for another five. I endured years of a custody/visitation battle with drug & alcohol testing, multiple reunification therapists, a move to a different county, etc. He's done it all for me. The bottom line: My kids are safe and I have Brian to thank for that.
The one thing that was (and still is) most important to me while fighting this fight is this: I want to be able to come out of this someday with my head held high. I want my kids to know, someday when they're old enough, that I did everything right. I never lied. I never stooped to the lows the other side did. That's important to me. Kids figure out on their own at some point what's going on, so don't play dirty. That's my first bit of advice to anyone reading this. My second bit of advice is this: Hire Brian. He will be there for you every step of the way. He'll get the job done and he'll do it right. If you want an attorney who will represent you effectively, ethically and efficiently, Brian Myers is your guy.

Brian Myers represented me in a divorce case that was extraordinarily contentious and difficult. Not only did Brian have to confront an opposing party that was unwilling to compromise on any matter great or small, but he also had to cope with my peculiar circumstances--when I first retained him I was living and working in Southeast Asia--and with the chaos and uncertainty that the pandemic brought to legal processes and the court. I am forever in his debt for his exceptional perseverance in surmounting these many challenges, for his stout advocacy, good judgment, his compassion, and for the deployment of his extraordinary legal capabilities on my behalf. Brian is among the most impressive people I have met in any field.
Compassionate and non-judgmental, with an abundance of optimism and an unflappable disposition, Brian always responded quickly and trenchantly to the many emails I sent him. During these dark days that, as days do, accumulated to years, I had a tendency to write long, sprawling messages, only portions of which were legally relevant. Had Brian responded in full to every facet of these emails, I would have quickly been bankrupted. Instead, with an unerring capacity to separate the tangential from the essential, Brian unfailingly got to the legal heart of my messages, keeping us on task and saving me thousands of dollars. This is one small example among many of his superb judgment, his devotion to serving the best interests of his client even when the client in question (me!) could not see the forest for the trees. Brian has a real gift for explaining complex legal mechanisms and terms in a way that clarifies them to the uninitiated. He is generous, patient, and thoroughly decent.
One of the reasons I chose to work with Brian has precisely to do with his decency and moral discernment. On occasion, what the law sanctions and what decency requires are at odds. Brian immediately understood--and I believe respected--my decision not to pursue a course of financial remedy that would have been in my self interest. And on other occasions, when I would ask about pursuing avenues that were legally legitimate but, under the circumstances, morally dubious, Brian would push back, and in so doing, made me a better person and a better parent.

I was told several months ago that it would take three months for the pay out it has now been way over that time and I still have not received anything every call I make to my attorney he never wants to answer and when he does he says he's still waiting for a response from certain appointments which is not true because they all responded already , interesting that attorneys can take a bigger percentage out of the settlement the longer they have it in their hands do not come to mvp accident attorneys!!

He was paid in full and NEVER filed my response to my ex filing for divorce, even though I signed in his office a whole year prior. Now it's been 2 years into the process working together and he still hasn't filed?!?! Not only was that a huge fail - He can't mediate to save his life. If you are at an impasse in your divorce, he does not posses the tools to help you through it.
We stopped working with him and I hired an attorney who caught it immediately on the first phone consult. When I reached out Scott about it he ignored my question and told me, he has a system that works well and has many happy clients. (What does that have to do with him not performing the work he was paid for?) Total deflection.
An entire 2 years working with this man through the divorce process for nothing. Not only money wasted but time that I can't get back. I'm filing a complaint with the SDCBA, State Bar of California and filing a fee of dispute. $6k-$7k down the drain to accomplish nothing!
