Aileen Fernandez-Mesa is a miracle worker. I recommend Aileen in the strongest terms to anyone in need of a family attorney. I owe my family's happiness in large part to her tireless efforts. When taking on my case, Aileen inherited an ongoing, lengthy, and complex divorce case that was not going well. There were numerous difficult issues mostly involving special needs children. In a remarkably short time Aileen brought herself up to speed on the case and proceeded to reverse two years' worth of negative momentum. Aileen completely turned my case around and brought about a more successful conclusion than I thought was possible.

Jessica recently assisted my family and I in a stepparent adoption for my daughter. Because of some unfortunate dynamics surrounding the biological father, I was extremely nervous going into it. Wow...where do I even begin....Jessica Laleh has been nothing but a blessing! I was down and out on my luck, lost ,scared and confused. I went through a really bad divorce years ago which caused me to lose everything and most importantly custody of my son...I had no direction of what to do or what attorney to even trust at this point after many failed attempts to get my son back. That's when I hired Jessica Laleh, I was living out of state at the time but I had faith that she would turn this around and hit a homerun so I can be reunited with my son back in Miami. It wasnt easy at all but she made me feel comfortable, at ease, not stressed because I knew she was working around the clock trying to make it happen. There was times I wanted to give up because it got really really tough but she always remained confident and supportive and never gave up on me. She worked on this for over a year through ups and downs and look...She got me home finally after not being able to see my son for almost 5 years. I am the happiest dad on Gods green earth! Andrea Morgan saved me. Divorce (especialy with children) Is a difficult time for anyone that goes through this process. Andrea was my second attorney on my case. My case should have been a landslide my direction after six or eight weeks with another attorney things were not going my direction like the should have been, I luckly saw the writing on the wall. After doing extensive research I called several attorneys including Morgan Divorce. After my consult it was clear Andrea and her team were the one, knowledgeable, ruthless and caring, difficult to find all three of those qualities in an attorney. She took on the difficult task of taking over a case mid stream against one of the most difficult and unrealistic attorneys in Orlando. She was very easy to work with, she listened and cared what I had to say, we worked together on direction and she shut me down when I was going off off-course. She helped get me the quick resolution (difficult with this opposing counsel) I wanted with a fair and acceptable result. I had contacted Kathy concerning after losing custody of my children. During my divorce, I didn’t have representation, so my parenting plan was oppressive and it didn’t leave Kathy with a lot to fight with. However, Kathy did extensive research and really worked hard to do what she could for me. In the end, Kathy helped to get my children back.

If you are looking for an attorney for family law matters Matthew Hunt is the best money can buy. I initially hired Mr. Hunt after I fired another attorney who took my money, did not bother to file divorce paperwork, and would not return my calls or emails. Mr. Hunt did more in the first day of hiring him than the other attorney did in months. It was like a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders knowing I now had an attorney I could trust. He was able to reverse the damage that resulted from my previous attorneys’ poor representation. I have been to multiple hearings, mediations, and a deposition with Mr. Hunt. Mr. Hunt’s preparedness was apparent during each of these instances. I’ve had conversations with Mr. Hunt and have been completely surprised when he remembers instances I’ve spoken to him about, emailed him about, and things that happened during prior years. I can truly say that I trust Mr. and his decision-making ability, mainly because he has shown me time and time again the positive results that happen afterwards. Mr. Hunt has been incredible in sorting through all my ex’s lies and making the truth shine especially in the place where it ultimately matters which is the courtroom. Mr. Hunt got me thru the most traumatic time of my life. He was accessible to me at all times and went above and beyond to keep me up to date. For part of my divorce I was living in a different state and Mr. Hunt took this in stride and did whatever he had to including getting it approved for me to attend a few of the hearings via phone. Matt personally handled my divorce which involved me dealing with custody of my children and paying of alimony, he also helped navigate me as I was a business owner. I was very firm with Mr. Hunt on what I wanted and he over delivered on every aspect. I get my kids more than I thought I would, I pay less than was estimated, and it was all handled on one day. No one else in their industry is as skilled as this man. Do not let these 1 star reviews say you as they are all written by clients of the other side, when you don't hire the best. You shouldn't expect to win. I hired the best so I won.

I hired Ms. Keane for a child support enforcement/custody issue. She was so helpful, making sure I understood what was happening, what various things meant, and what "could" potentially happen. She never made promises that couldn't keep, just laid out possible scenarios. Her transparent approach was extremely comforting, especially when it involved my child. Have Been battling addiction for years and back in August 2023 I received my third DUI, and was facing 18 months in prison. I followed what Mr. Hines insisted. Went into rehab, started therapy and intensive outpatient and now have over four months clean and no prison or jail time. He also helped me find my amazing AA young peoples home group. Michael Hines truly cares about his clients and is the BEST lawyer truly. If it wasn’t for him I would be in prison and not with my daughter, and I wouldn’t have four months of sobriety. If you are looking for a defense attorney, I would highly recommend 10 out of 10.

My divorce was in the middle of trial. The opposing counsel was very aggressive and I desperately needed a more zealous and aggressive representation of my case. I contacted Michael Hines over the weekend and he replied immediately and readily agreed to take on my complex case. My case had been dragging for almost a year and Michael was able to wrap things up within 10 days of working on my case, without continuation of the trial! The opposing counsel even started co-operating once Michael took over the case!

The Social Security Disability process is extremely difficult, confusing and frustrating. We srtruggled for the first few years, not knowing what to do or where to turn. By the time we contacted Maria Riddle, we had been denied and broken financially. Maria took charge, put us in touch with exceptional doctors and specialists, walked us through the disability process and made the experience way less horrible. There were times Alicia, her assistant and I just talked.. she knew how hard it was for us to go through this process and showed extrteme compassion every time we corresponded. My only regret is that I did not meet Chris and his team sooner. After my divorce was finalized, I began working with Chris to modify the judgement (unfortunately he was not my original divorce lawyer). He was very forthright and knowledgeable and provided excellent advice throughout the proceedings. He also took an aggressive stance when my ex tried to sue for her attorney’s fees. He won the case despite the fact that the judge clearly favored my ex. He won it by diligently researching case law and aggressively presenting our case, all the while being professional. I frankly can’t recommend him enough. I sincerely hope I’m never in need of an attorney again but if I am, Chris will be my first call. Again, I can not recommend him and his team enough!

Changing attorneys and hiring Chris was the BEST decision I made! My ex-husband spent 5 times what I did on his attorney. But Chris and I won every point in our case.
He is an expert at the research necessary to make the necessary points to win. He read the judge during our trial, changed course, and was spot on with his interpretation of what was needed.

When two people just can’t work it out, sadly divorce is sometimes necessary. It is imperative that you find someone who will look out for your best interest and also help you navigate the whole process. I contacted Jennifer Harrington in Sept 2021 to start the divorce process. My ex-husband and I had been married for 11 years and have 2 young children. We also had a large house, land and assets that needed to be dealt with. Divorce is one of the most devastating things to go through. Jennifer was so understanding of what I was feeling and helped me sort it all out even when emotions were high for me. I stated the things that were the most important to me and she made sure to make my wishes heard and did an amazing job getting me everything I was seeking. If I ever had a question or a concern she was super prompt about getting back to me either via email or a personal phone call or text. We had to wait until our home and property sold before we could finalize the divorce but on March 1, 2022 we did sign off on everything. Jennifer made a really difficult time in my life manageable and she was definitely my back bone and strength throughout the entire process. If I had to do it all over again (thank goodness I don’t!) I wanted to articulate my experience with Christopher Lombardo who has literally been my savior thanks to his skill sets which are second to none. I first hired a female attorney who I believed would be able to relate to me as another woman and exude compassion and empathy with respect to my situation which was as bad as it gets. As I was going through the divorce, I discovered that she did not have the requisite financial skills to protect me financially. Her discovery was inadequate and hurt me significantly for my financial future. I was being harassed by my ex and my attorney advised me to do nothing about it. I made the decision to leave the first attorney because I felt that she was not adequately representing me. I then secured another female attorney with the primary charge of selling my home and ensuring that I be reimbursed for my legal fees as per a court stipulation. My ex refused to reimburse the legal fees. The second attorney was working on going back to court to get my legal fees and in the process, my ex filed a Motion for a Special Magistrate to sell the marital home. Her legal representation was so inferior that she ended up getting sued personally. She was incompetent and had a chip on her shoulder in regards to me. And to make matters worse, she made derogatory comments to me. In addition, the legal fees she charged me were excessive. I knew that I had to change course because nothing positive was being accomplished. So, I had a friend help me research other attorneys. Our selection made was Christopher Lombardo. I am pleased to say that Mr. Lombardo competently, and rigorously took on my matters with a sense of urgency. The marital house was finally sold after he was able to talk sense to my ex's attorney. Chris is as savvy as they come, has many years of experience and knows how to negotiate with other attorneys without running up huge bills. He has always treated me with the utmost of kindness and respect. Without his expertise, I know that I would still be trying to navigate a deal and would have been forced to frivolously spend another $40,000. Quite simply, he is the best attorney I have ever used. In addition his team members including Rebecca Wade and Scott Pauzer were extremely helpful and prompt when dealing with my issues.
I would strongly recommend Mr. Lombardo to anyone who is dealing with divorce matters.

We were referred to this lawyer by a previous Duval county (Florida) judge after the separation of the unwed parents of a child with the indication that the mother might leave the state with the child and will not return. Florida law does not grant legal rights to an unwed father until paternity, time-sharing and shared responsibilities are established in court.
Overall, I am very satisfied with the result of this temporary hearing, giving credit to Debra and Thomas Treece. We are still waiting for the final hearing and hope that the Treece law team will continue to represent us fairly and honestly.
The Treece law team does not shoot for bashing the opposite party. From the beginning on, it was clear that they want a fair and honest outcome with no lies and only honesty. The reason to seek help was to fairly establish legal rights for the father and do all we can to benefit the child. The Treece law team maintained to fairly reach an agreement and asked for the continuation of the child's primary parent, which is tough to establish if it is the father who performed most parental responsibilities.
One "thing" I would like to mention is that I wish that the Treece law team would be more readily available when the father has an IMMEDIATE legal question, due to the mother using unfair tactics, lies and accusations that are unwarranted. I would love to at times receive a quick, brief legal advise right then and there, though acknowledge that we are not their only clients.
If you are looking for an aggressive lawyer to bash your opponent, keep looking. If you are looking for an aggressive FAIR lawyer, "fighting" for what is the honest truth and the best for the child, you found a calm legal team working for you.

Once my daughter received an order from the court, my daughter interviewed with many other attorneys. They would only allow her to talk with them. I had a great experience with HVW Law Group. I am extremely pleased with Emerald' services. Emerald was the third attorney I hired during my child custody case.
The first attorney I hired sent somebody I did not even know and who knew nothing about my case to my first court hearing. He did not even tell me he was doing this beforehand. The second attorney did not answer my calls in a timely manner, did not keep me inform of the status of the case, and I found him to be overall non-empathetic and just plain non-caring starting from right after the first consultation once the retainer was paid.
