Do not recommend, poor time management, lack of professionalism, and lack of communication. I was told it would be within reason to have my documents made in a month so I made sure to start working with this group providing all necessary documents 2 months in advance of my wedding. I was assigned the team with Bona Doci, Chelsea Jannereth, and Frank Krautwald. After many attempts at contacting them via email, phone calls, voice messages I found out they had not gotten very far with my case which in the end made me have to delay my planned wedding date in May, cancel family members flights, and stress about not knowing when they would finish my documents. Chelsea Jannereth made many promises that my documents draft would be done and was unable to fulfill the deadline she gave. In the end I got my documents a little over 2 months later and found typos with names and addresses that I ended up having to correct myself.

I wouldn’t recommend this law office. I’ve had a family court case for quite a few years and my previous attorney was moving to Chicago (LOVED her) and I needed someone new to take her place. Just on google reviews alone you’d think this would be a decent experience. I was called by Matthew Dorich who said HE would take on my case and I agreed. After that I never met Matt. They sent me a subpar attorney from Peoria to fill in. So not only was I unhappy with my representation I was paying his traveling costs when if matt would have represented me, Matt lived in Springfield. Then, they let me know I’d have to speak with a paralegal and it took them weeks to follow up with me the first time. Every time Marilu would send emails she was very rude. For the amount of money you have to pay you’d think they at least understand compassion or kindness, but they don’t. It gets worse. Noah, my subpar attorney, left the practice and no one said anything to me about it and then marilu was angry with me for emailing him with questions about my case. I will never recommend this law office. Stay away if you can.

What an amazing staff to deal with, I had a work injury and like everyone that seeks advice I was nervous at first. I was initially referred to Z Wang & Associates in 2013 by a friend of mine. My parents met with Zhidong Wang when he traveled back to China in 2013–2014, and we decided to start the EB-5 process with Z Wang & Associates as our immigration attorneys. We first filed the I-526 in September 2015 and received approval in September 2016. We filed the I-485 in April 2020 and had it approved in July 2022. In May 2024, we filed the I-829 and received approval in December 2024. We are glad that, after this 9-year wait, we have finally completed the entire EB-5 process and had our conditions removed.
Over the years, we worked with Dora Zang, Jamie Hossa, Jeff Cheng, and Zhidong Wang, who were always able to answer our questions whenever we needed help. We truly appreciate their time and assistance over the past nine years! We will contact them again for the N-400 process and any future green card applications for my parents.

He handled my divorce after nearly 40 years. He talked me out of everything I wanted to do and was more concerned with himself than with me. Every time I would question him, he would suggest that perhaps I should find another attorney. Was always too busy, on vacation or wanted to write a letter rather than do what needed to be done. I was referred to Jay Frank by a dear high school girlfriend who had been through an excruciating, complex, divorce involving a spouse who was hiding his money from his businesses to evade paying my friend what was owed to her. Jay Frank was one of the last attorneys hired by my friend, and in the final hour, he actually was able to turn the tables for his client, my friend, and ended up getting my friend money that she never expected to get in her final settlement.
My divorce was much less complex but nonetheless excruciating for me, as this was a divorce that I did not want nor foresee at the age of 61, facing two total hip arthroplasty surgeries, and the last chapter of my life, alone. My ex-spouse also left behind his two stepsons, and although they were young men in their twenties, they felt abandoned, disappointed and angry. This was the second divorce they had been through, the first divorce from their father when they were only ages three and six. Their father had been abusive with me so with a subsequent Order of Protection against him, and counseling that was not effective for our marriage, I felt compelled to be the one to file for divorce for the sake of my mental health and that of my sons.
Jay Frank was the second attorney I hired as the first attorney seemingly went through my retainer fee of $5K in a few months with very little legal work executed. When Jay consulted with me for the first time, he did not charge me, and actually took the time to help me sift through the final bill of my first attorney to help me discern which charges were unnecessary. Despite the fact that my divorce was, more or less, a straightforward divorce with no complex business issues or custody issues, this divorce took about four years to be finalized. One of the reasons for this delay is that I did not want to deal with this divorce while having my two aforementioned surgeries and throughout the process of the selling of our marital house. Another reason was the global pandemic. The world was suspended with fear, anxiety and uncertainty, and my ex-spouse and I, like most of the world, were caught up in this energy. The third reason for the delay was procrastination, mainly on my part. I did not want to let go. Jay Frank and his colleague, Staci Balbirer, showed immense empathy and unending patience with this delay. And last but not least, Jay Frank was able to steer me in the direction to peacefully settle my case with a final agreement very much in my favor.

Easy Zero Stars!!! Hello world, I’m professional truck driver of almost 10yrs. I spoke about my case with a Mr. John Daniel and I was very shocked and displeased with his response. Now my case is very simple and easy, I know I can do it myself but I don’t live in McLean County never have, I’ve lived in St. Clair County my whole life. But basically what I needed for Wright Law Office in Bloomington, IL to do is file a petition on my behalf to get my MVR cleaned. I have just one traffic violation on my Motor Vehicle Report from 4yrs. ago. that’s really causing me a hard time regaining employment in my field of Transportation. I told John me not being able to regain employment has caused me so much trouble financially to the point where I could lose my home and not have anywhere to live or stay no more. So again, I proceeded to tell him “All I need from them was to file the petition, and because I’m unemployed, fill out the waiver fee for the petition so it would be free, and get a court date in front of a judge and ask the judge to please remove the speeding ticket from my record” This man RESPONSE was to file a petition doesn’t cost that much, it only cost about $40. But if you want our Law firm to do what you’re asking it’ll be about $1000. I said a Thousand Dollars??? Yeah that man Shiesty asl and petty af too because I just told him I wasn’t even employed. So PLEASE PLZ STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!

My case was mentally and emotionally draining. I watched a system that is not designed for fathers control the life of my son. I was even more devastated in the way his biological mother handled raising/caring for our son and my place in his life. I had never been any way but respectful and supportive of her since the day our son was born.
We went through a Child Rep who took almost (7) seven years to do what he knew he should have done from day 1, while my son suffered mentally and emotionally silently for years. That alone could have destroyed my child. We then went to a Guardian Ad Litem, through Mediation, a Child Therapist, back to Mediation, an Arbitrator, a Judge Mediator and then back to the case judge.
7 Years later, my son is home with me and my wife (who has been an awesome mother figure to him since he was 2 years old and whom he loves dearly). and he is doing very well. This case unfortunately cost him his relationship with his biological mother and has destroyed his faith in the legal system and those that are trained and paid very well to protect the child. I must add that I am working with him through the issues surrounding his mother because no matter how horrible she was to him and to me, nor how she used the legal system to hurt us all for years, it is still important to me for him to have a loving relationship with his biological mother.
I give all of the Glory to God and the team of lawyers he blessed me with. Gloria Block and her Assistant Russell Reid have been true life savers for me, my family and especially our son. Attorney Block helped bring clear direction and purpose to our case. She immediately halted all negative personal/legal action by my son's mother and her Attorney that clearly were directed at prolonging the case while bringing more chaos and negativity into play, which ultimately only harmed our son. She personally held everyone accountable from the first day that she agreed to represent us (4) four years into this case. We had our ups and downs through the legal system, but she kept fighting for my son's well being and ultimately directed the fight that gave my son the peace that every child deserves.
I now have legal residential custody of my son and I oversee all day to day activities and care. He is now at peace, truly thriving and doing very very well.
To not bring direct light to my son and what he has endured, I have to settle on giving a big public "shout out" via the internet to Gloria Block and Russell Reid for being more than our attorneys, but for being a part of our extended family and caring enough to dedicate your legal knowledge for the well being and care of a child who did not deserve what he had endured, but one who now has the direction he needs in life to thrive, uncontrolled and uninhibited while being surrounded in true love, a family that is dedicated to him and being totally blessed with complete support.

Ms. Block (and Beth and Russell) are the best out there. I had been represented by two other legal firms before I found her. She kept me informed, listened to my wants and needs. If her advice differed from what I had thought the best course for me and my children, she took the time explain to me the reasons why and what the best actions were. My previous representation was always willing to wait and see what was going to happen whereas Ms. Block let me be heard. And in doing this got the best outcome for me and my children. I engaged Mr. Rakowski (LSR) in April 2023 to assist with Judgment enforcement matters. In August 2023, he blindsided me by filing a petition to withdraw while demanding that I pay him $7000 to continue representation without having provided me with an invoice of services supporting his demand.
This was during a time when he was supposed to be cleaning the mess he created by filing a Petition for Rule to Show (Indirect Civil Contempt) without any claimed amount, being able to mention the paragraphs of the Judgment violated, nature of the violation OR present Exhibits and evidence during the hearing to support the petition.
That was the beginning of my nightmarish encounters as events spiraled out of control. He would then file several unnecessary and avoidable motions to modify, compel, and clarify, attempting to rectify his errors and failings while racking up legal fees. And then, he demanded $7000 for the work to clean up this mess without providing me with a supporting invoice.
He attempted to coerce me into paying him that amount and when I pushed back, he quickly filed his withdrawal and then immediately filed a petition for attorney fees after the withdrawal was granted. Important to point out that none of the matters I engaged him for were resolved by the time he withdrew, including the petition for reimbursement of child expenses that the Court denied without prejudice because of LSR's failure to state any owed amounts.
LSR claimed he was working on drafting a new petition for refiling and billed me over $1,000 for that supposed work in the invoice. However, I never saw a draft of that petition prior to his abrupt withdrawal. And he would then have the audacity to file a petition for fees against me because he thinks the law allows it and he would rather leverage what he believes to be law to oppress his client than do what is right. Zero accountability!!
Suffice it to say that I am now representing myself Pro Se and had to refile the petition for child expenses reimbursement myself, which the Court conducted a hearing on and ordered the respondent to pay me the amount claimed.
In hindsight, I would have been much better off doing this on my own with very little help from the Law Library. The library has all the applicable straightforward forms. The matters were not complicated. It was post-divorce and didn't require any discovery. I have the Judgment. And there were evidence and documentation to support its violation. But LSR made the process and filing so messed up and complicated so that he could then bill me over $11,000 attempting to clean the mess. Engaging LSR is the worst mistake I have made all through my pre-divorce and post-divorce journey.
I would have rated him a zero star if I could but unfortunately, the minimum I could give is 1.

I had a very pleasant experience with Manassa Law. My husband and I lived apart for almost five years and separated nearly everything except our retirement accounts. We worked with Oren Graupe to prepare the legal documents to dissolve our marriage. He was very nice and a good communicator. The process was smooth for Oren and us because it was very amicable. If I had any suggestions, I would say check the paperwork for accuracy because there were some unfortunate typos. Also, having the directive of retirement funds for the financial advisor letter ready with the dissolution of marriage papers would have been more efficient since there were no foreseeable disputes.

Worked with Brian Thompto as an attorney to file my Green card and he was so unreponsive, careless, rude and never ever replied back to my emails neither calls. Wasted my 15 months for PWD and PERm and end result is it got denied because of his mistake to not including my skills in ETA-9089 besides providing him all the details. Even after it got denied, he seems like nothing happened and jeopardizing my future and now i am left with no option else than leaving US as my time is getting closer. I would definitely not recommend him and I still can't believe that i am not the first person to give this type of review but still he is serving in this organization. Seems like all Attorneys here are like same where no one care about their clients. If you wish to waste your time and money, please hire from here.

I had a mutual agreed upon divorce that the judge had turned into a nightmare. Sabrina and Brian had gone above and beyond every step of the way with me answering all of my questions, making sure every detail was what I was asking for was handled and were straightforward with me the entire process. Nicole was a pro at helping me deal with tricky situations with my ex-spouse. Plus, there was a very time-sensitive issue with a home refinance, and she negotiated on my behalf to ensure I was able to get a fair financial settlement and keep my business. Very impressed.

Warning…do not retain Caidi Vanderporten or her father, Evan Mammas. During your consultation they will present as kind, caring, and ready to fight hard at trial. However, they will do everything to avoid trial. I paid Caidi bout $200 for her free consultation as token of my gratitude, appreciation, and respect for her time. However, after retaining her and her father, and paying them thousands to argue at trial, Caidi did the unimaginable within ~3 weeks. FIRSTLY, against my repeated objection, Caidi converted the trial from in-person to Zoom. SECONDLY, at the beginning of the hearing, she requested a PRIVATE breakout room for her to talk with the judge, opposing counsel, and child representative (all women). The trial NEVER occurred because she lied to the judge that I wanted to cancel the hearing in exchange for an agreement to see my infant son (and only child) TWICE PER MONTH for 45 minutes each “visit.” I brought the matter to her father’s attention, and he explained that he saw nothing wrong. I even had the transcripts of our conversation for evidence. THIRDLY, she filed an Order of Protection against me in an attempt to prevent me from publicly exposing her. LASTLY, she had the nerve to bill me an additional ~$5,000 after I complained about what she had done to me and my infant son. I hired them to argue, at the IN-PERSON EVIDENTIARY TRIAL, for me and my son’s entitled rights to a sufficient amount of WEEKLY parenting time. They took advantage of me while I was a desperate father and full-time graduate student that could not even make ends meet. I’ve had to use $7000 of my student loans to hire a new attorney to undo the mess they created. I’m heartbroken and hope no one else becomes a victim of her firm.

Please do not use Andy. I never give reviews and I got divorced a long time ago but I have to let people know how bad this attorney is. Between my horrible experience and a friend of mine whose husband used Andy, he is just really bad at what he does. I was in a long term marriage and Andy was only able to get me a 2.5 year reviewable. If I was making any money, I can see how something like that could happen, but I was a stay at home mom for most of my marriage. Basically, I had to go through the financial and emotional burden of a court divorce twice. My new attorney was exceptional and did an amazing job. She was such an advocate and was able to undo much of what Andy allowed. It only emphasized just how bad Andy was. I highly recommend that you try someone else.

BEWARE! I acquired Jenifer Behme for my child custody case and after 3 months, nothing done, and $6000 they feel that "they no longer have the authority to handle my case" when I asked for a reasonable payment plan. Under their representation my ex took my kids away from me for 3 months, I was assaulted twice, once by my ex, and once by my ex's boyfriend and resulted in myself getting a broken jaw and undergoing surgery. Ms. Behme was very incentive and did not care one bit. When I emailed her about my ex going crazy, pending felony charges, and being homeless with my children, she responded with a billing statement. These people do not care about the lives of families and only want money. I trusted these people with my family and they showed their true colors.

Hired David for my nasty divorce. My ex-wife hired a high priced law firm with 2 attorneys that seemed to out maneuver David. I didn’t need the Illinois statutes read to me. I needed an attorney that could represent my interests and not be screwed around with by a DuPage firm that liked to play games. I dropped David and had to find a more aggressive attorney.

I was desperate and have no where else to go when I found David. I've visited numerous lawyers who rejected my case or were skeptical about positive outcome. My case was about divorce and child custody which included domestic violence. David helped me to get order of protection for me and my little one. He was very detailed and accurate while getting all the information and only after careful research would come to certain decisions.

Rebecca handled a petition by my former spouse very well. No complaints. There was still an outlying issue that had to be handled regarding an arrearage that she advised she could handle. After that - nothing. Despite repeated emails and phone calls requesting additional assistance , I received no further contact. I have paid for all services rendered. We were referred to this lawyer for our mediation. It was the worst experience I have ever had. Not only did she blatantly choose sides, but she consulted with my ex behind my back and then ambushed me about it. She brought her own life into it and made the worst possible agreement up. It makes no sense the way it's written, even my lawyer couldn't follow. I would not ever recommend her to anyone and I have told my friends to avoid her at all costs.

This woman committed legal malpractice against me. She had me sign the wrong version of my MSA and then charged me $600 to do my QILDRO and when my ex retired 7 years after the divorce was final we discovered SHE NEVER did the QILDRO so if he had died I would have received NOTHING. Finally when my new lawyers reached out to her countless times she ignored them every time. This woman cost me over $50,000 in missed money. DO NOT USE HER and if you do make sure you go over all your paperwork with a fine toothed comb.
