I've dealt with many lawyers throughout the years of my life, all very professional and well educated. But with Lisa, it was a whole different experience. She took on a case for a good friend of mine that was fighting his third strike with a life sentence. Lisa attacked the case from many different angles and was able to walk with a dismissal. Lisa came to my rescue for a serious legal matter that had potential to ruin my professional career as a nurse. Lisa Simons has been helping our family for quite some time now by representing a loved one across multiple cases throughout the years. Whether it was gun charges, violation of probabtion (VOPs,) or anything in between (or worse.) - Lisa was able to get exceptional results for the charges at hand. As far as talent, Lisa is as good as it gets and I do not say that lightly. I wrongfully received my first traffic violation after 15 years of driving, and was greatly concerned about the long-term financial ramifications. I couldn't afford for my insurance to go up. Mrs. Adams assured me, with her help, it wouldn't. Not only was she right, but it couldn't have been any easier. She handled everything from there. Mr. Katz handled two legal matters on my behalf. He did what he said he would do, when he said he would do it and worked, as much as he reasonably could, within my personal, financial parameters. I was looking at several felony violations.....today, I received confirmation that my original guilty plea was changed to "not guilty," and all charges were dropped. I recommend him unconditionally.

I would absolutely recommend this attorney if you are falsely accused of a crime! I hired Mr. Katz, he was very reasonably priced and he worked really hard on my case. After having a legal matter pending for 8 years , having tried out 2 pricey attorneys before Douglas , I had lost faith that i would be able to get my matter resolved. I was an international student at the time i was charged with 2 counts of felony and due to unfortunate circumstances had to leave the country before being able to resolve my case. My co-defendant introduced me to Douglas who never gave me any unreal expectations and gave it to me as real as possible , my previous attorney that I had retained from overseas wasnt even able to get hearing date saying “its a catch 22 you need to be here” . Not only was Douglas able to get the ball rolling he was able to contact the people who pressed charges , come up with a deal , and get the charges dismissed completely. Till this day I remember i was in utter disbelief when i got the short and to the point email saying “Good news your case has been dismissed” . 8 years worth of emotional and financial stress had come to an end only thanks to Douglas . I highly recommend Douglas as an attorney , my case was so complex specially because I was overseas that i didnt see a way out , Douglas was always kind enough to attend every phone call , be clear , not give false hope but deliver a better than expected outcome. Recently returned home from the sandlot. Currently seeing a therapist for my issues. But upon my return, I made several bad decisions ALL fueled by alcohol. As a result I got arrested twice. My name is Omar , On October, 2016 I got a DUI , I was very worried and scared because I’ve never had any prior history on my record. I had no idea where to start. The day after I got my DUI I called so many attorneys and Among them, Natalia Matusik was the only person I truly felt very comfortable with to handle my case. A few days later she took my case and I Can’t be more happy and thankful of the outcome and all her valuable help. She represented me in a courteous and professional way. She was very informative,cooperative and reachable via phone, text, e-mail and even person to person at all time. She met with me to study my case and to inform me of all my rights and responsibilities. Then she examined all possible outcomes and informed me of ways to fight my case in court. A few months later she managed to reached an agreement with the District attorney and the judge to downgrade my criminal charges to what might have been a DUI into a Dry Reckless charge. I would definitely recommend her to anyone dealing with this or any case, she took the stress out of dealing with this unfortunate event in my life and I look forward to getting her help once again in order to finish my probation early.

My husband and I hired Robert Hoyt, "Bob" as our attorney on a friends recommendation to handle an accident case which involved my seventeen year old daughter being run into by another vehicle. My daughter lost her car as it was totaled when it was struck by a large SUV driven by someone completely at fault. Thankfully, my daughter came out of the wreck ok, but with some back pain and personal trauma. Of course the other driver's insurance tried to claim that my daughter was equally to blame which was completely false. Mr. Hoyt carefully reviewed all the facts, visited the accident site, interviewed witnesses and started a tedious battle involving both of the parties insurance companies which ultimately resulted in a settlement large enough to replace my daughter's car and allowed monetary compensation for her pain and suffering. Mr. Hoyt also handled ALL the health insurance, hospital and medical fees called upon as my daughter required chiropractic therapy, X-rays and the like to make sure she was completely well. He even policed my daughter's insurance company as they wrongly tried to claim parts of her settlement. We can't thank "Bob" enough for his expert professionalism, his hard work and diligence, but most of all for his caring and personal attention to my daughter's well being. We will always be grateful to "Bob" and now call him a great friend of the family.

I got arrested for a federal case on transporting illegal aliens on December of 2019 on my first appearance with my public defender that the court assign me she told me straight up that she wouldn't be able to get me bailed out, until we had court in San Diego in front of the judge that next day I had court again but at that time my brother's hired Attorney Jack J. Boltax that first thing he said to me on the interview in jail, he said we will get you out today, and that's what he did and with a lower bail. This attorney Jack J boltax doesn't play games, or loose time. The D.A put me at level ||| and a offense level 18 I was looking at real time 33-41 months the first 3 weeks he drop my level to 12 that was about a year in jail. He always said to me that he got my back. He would tell me that there was nothing to be nervous about and he proved to me everything the day of my sentence. On my sentence day I got 80 days in jail and to complete those days over weekends now I can still be working outside and support my family. Boltax was able to fight the deal and he got it for me. I truly , truly recommend this Attorney Jack J boltax he fights for you till the end his an excellent attorney with awesome knowledge to defend your case.

I needed an attorney to assist with a pseudo-domestic issue and Ashley was extremely professional, diligent, and helped to keep the costs down as well. I personally want to take a moment to share my gratitude. The office of Virginia Landry and the entire staff has tremendously helped me. I got my DUI, which was a felony due to the BAC and the fact there was an accident. I was terrified of what the entire outcome would be. As soon as I entered the office, i was treated as family. My stress lessened and I instantly knew that i was in great hands. They thoroughly explained the details of my case and instantly went to work. Apparently, they are very well respected in the court system. They did all the footwork for me. I still know that I made a huge mistake, but with their help, it definitely lessened the blow of what the judge could have and would have laid on me. In July of 2014, as a 22 year old, I was arrested and charged, unjustly, with a DUI. This was my second DUI arrest, which is obviously a potentially serious and definitely stressful, situation for most to encounter. My first DUI arrest was four years prior, in July 2010, which I was later convicted for in February of 2011. I fulfilled all court requirements for that conviction, and learned my lesson thoroughly. My second DUI arrest happened in July 2014 and was not filed against me until December of 2014. I researched various DUI lawyers following my arrest, and consulted with multiple lawyers regarding my case. I decided to hire Virginia's firm after my consultations, and I must say I was fully satisfied with their thoughtful care in handling my case from start to finish. To expand on details in regards to my case, I was charged with a combination DUI, which includes drug impairment in combination with alcohol. The drug I was accused to be impaired by was marijuana, upon which I learned, through Virginia's expertise, that there are two levels of usage detection which are examined. The two levels of usage detection consist of: (1.) inactive marijuana chemical presence, & (2.) active marijuana chemical presence. Inactive chemical presence is considered long-term chemical presence, and does not, by itself, classify a user as currently impaired. Active chemical presence, on the other hand, can classify a marijuana user as "impaired," or "intoxicated." My blood results showed both inactive and active levels of marijuana chemicals, therefore, I was considered to be driving while "intoxicated." My BAC level was just .04, which is under the legal limit to drive, but my active marijuana chemicals in combination with those minimal alcohol levels, were what enabled the prosecution to categorize me as a "DUI." The major issue was that I never actually drove my car, but since I was technically behind the wheel of the car while the engine was running, at the time of the CHP officer's intervention, I was able to be legally classified as the driver of the car. I never intentionally moved the car, I only switched seats from the passenger's seat into the driver's seat, while the initial driver who caused the CHP to follow and stop my car, did the opposite (switched out of the driver's seat and into the passenger's seat). The real, true driver was given a driving citation for driving my car without an active driver's license. Since she was obviously the driver, and I only rode along as passenger, and switched into the driver's seat only after the initial driver's hysterical demand for me to switch seats with her, following our being pulled over, I had an optimistic place to begin my case in court. My lawyer (Virginia) essentially argued that I was never the driver of the vehicle, and took the stance that I was merely "defending my property," which is typically seen as an acceptable defense in court. She filed motions to suppress evidence, which essentially prevents the prosecution from using any evidence against me, that was obtained after we were stopped by the CHP. I was argued to have never been the "driver" of the car, and therefore, I could not have been charged with any driving offenses. Virginia handled all of my court appearances, with exception of the final appearance, in which I was required to appear in front of the judge. In this appearance, the Orange County District Attorney agreed to dismiss my charges altogether. At this point, in June 2015, all my worries disappeared, and I was able to carry on about my life without any worries of legal troubles. I was fully satisfied with Virginia's handling of my case, and highly recommend this experienced attorney to anyone facing DUI charges, or other various criminal charges. She has a wealth of successful experience in the industry, and should be at the top of your list if you're in the market for a defense lawyer.

The Law Offices of Virgina L. Landry is the best. They got me out of jail on what's called the "ScramX" program, which is basically home confinement plus alcohol monitoring, which I believe is going to save my life. I'm 25 years old and got my third D.U.I. From the moment I retained their services, they made me feel comfortable and confident that everything was going to be all right. Very professional. Very open and friendly. Provided me with his cell phone so if I had questions I could contact him anytime. At first I wasn't sure with Jerry because he was in the Bay Area and I am in the valley. Didn't know if he would take my case. However, after speaking with him on the phone I knew I found the right attorney. He explained the entire process, what would be needed and what to expect. Seldom did I have any surprises. We gathered information and statements. Jerry put everything together and setup the first court hearing. He was successful in helping me get my 1203.4 (Dismissal). Next we moved on to the Certificate of Rehabilitation. He appeared with me at my interview and several continuations waiting for the DA to finish their report. The day finally came on November 18. My COR was submitted and approved by the judge. With that I was also cleared from the 290 Registration List. It was a long process, but well worth it. In 2000 I was convicted of a very serious felony drug charge. I was 20 years old. I came from a good home, graduated high school early and made great achievements in sports. I started to hang out with the wrong crowd, which eventually led me to be in a horrible drug charged relationship. I got my life back together, graduated college and went back into sports. However, everywhere I went this felony affected my life. It was hard to get a good job. Interviewers were interested in me, but as soon as they found out I had a felony I could see it in their eyes and body language…disappointment. I continually felt guilt and shame throughout my life, when all I was trying to do is be a better person. I hired Mr. Daley of the Innocence Legal Team last year (2012). My case was quite unique as there was virtually no case law relating to my situation. I used Virginia Landry's office for a DUI accusation against me by the police. Ron's knowledge of the laws and sharp eye caught mistakes made by the police not only when they were on the stand, but in the original police report and on their dash cam. The police's account was inconsistent with the facts and Ron exposed them for violating my 4th Amendment rights. Thanks to Ron, my case was dismissed. Ron took my case and from the beginning he was a class act. He knew the law, case studies, the science behind the processes for a DUI. I was stopped by CHP early November'12 and was found to have a BAC level of 0.12. I was not very hopeful of my situation as the BAC was on the higher side and discussions with several lawyers did not give me any hope. Most of my friends and relatives advised me against a lawyer. However, I wanted to hire one just to have the peace of mind and a satisfaction that I did all I could. I came across the Law Offices of Virginia Landry online and after getting a positive feedback from some of the lawyers I had discussed my case with I met Ron from the law firm. He did not promise me anything but I was impressed by his technicalities in handling the the DUI situation. After almost 3 months of pre-trials we were able to file a motion based on the video-evidence that did not show any wrong with my driving and the case was dismissed. I had asked Ron to plead guilty on my behalf long time before but he persisted based on the evidence he had gathered and as a result of that I feel like a free man.
