I generally do not write reviews but I am compelled to write about my experience with this law firm. It is so hard to put in words what the Elphant Rickett Law Firm has done for me and my precious daughter. Esq. Rickett gave me back a sense of relief, peace and most of all hope. For too long my life seemed to be in shambles. Darkness and despair hovered over and almost took a grip on me. After two and a half years of no movement from my previous lawyer, Esq. Rickett agreed to take my case and immediately produced results. She fought for me as if we were family. Her energy, heart and legal knowledge was what I had been praying for. Esq. Rickett and Ms. Anne Graney, her paralegal, were not only efficient and comprehensive at producing required legal documentation, they led with kindness, compassion and patience. It was a long and painful divorce process for me because of my ex-husband's many covert tactics. Nevertheless, Esq. If you want a great lawyer that will fight for you, you have found her! I cannot express how amazing Rosa and her team were while going through my divorce. I was dealing with a Narcissist and Rosa knew exactly how to handle that type of personality. Rosa is a no nonsense professional with years of experience. This is the hardest thing I have ever been through in my life. When I felt overwhelmed she calmly walked me through every step of this process with empathy and understanding. I was scared and nervous when I received my ticket from an officer for failing to stop for a school bus. I had never received a moving violation aside from a minor speeding ticket years ago. After speaking with a few lawyers, I decided that Thomas Blauvelt was my best bet due to his experience and 5 star reviews. I am so glad I hired him (and his team)! Instead of possible points, community service, and a license suspension I received 0 points and a small $140 fine. Thank you Thomas and team!

Mr. Blauvelt is a fantastic lawyer. I was accused of a DWI in March 2020, before the pandemic lockdowns, and my case was just resolved in the summer of 2022. I was asleep in my car and the vehicle was left running. Mr. Blauvelt listened to my story and although he knew it would be a difficult defense based on precedent in New Jersey, he was ready to fight against a conviction. Using his knowledge and experience, he mounted a three-prong defense, the heart of it being the officers' judgment when analyzing my road tests. During the process, many hearings were changed or canceled last minute, and the court was even changed. Throughout it all, Mr. Blauvelt kept my hope up while also explaining the risks of proceeding and the costs. In the end, the judge agreed with his defense, and the case was dismissed. I cannot recommend him enough. If you are ever in trouble, call Mr. Blauvelt.

Thomas Blauvelt's recent defense on a DUI was nothing short of extraordinary. He knowledge and proficiency was incredible. I cannot say enough about strongly recommending Mr. Blauvelt for hire. The bottom line is that the ruling by the judge after the hearing went in our favor because of Thomas's efforts. Amazing.

I got injured at my job in April 2022, after which my employer started treating me unfairly-- the employer didn't even allow me to see an actual doctor until almost a year after the injury occurred. I was misdiagnosed by their urgent care reps and by a therapist who told me I was basically faking the injury and gave me physical therapy exercises that caused me more pain. I reached out to a number of lawyers who dismissed me, until I came across Mr. Kendall Medway. From the day I walked into his office he reassured me that he would do all that he could to help me. As far as I am aware, he did just that. Mr. Medway led me through the workers compensation process, which took nearly two years. We reached a settlement in February 2024. I am satisfied with the outcome and that I chose Levinson Axelrod for my workers compensation claim.

I highly recommend Ed Fradkin. Ed planned the strategy to end my “lifetime alimony” which I had been paying for more than 25 years. It played out exactly as Ed said it would. as i was married for 15+ yrs i anticipated the divorce process to be much lengthier and more stressful as that is the experience my divorced friends and relatives have had in the past. that was the opposite at fradkin law due to the small office atmosphere. things are not "dragged out" and there is a commitment to quality other firms sorely lack. i attribute much of the speed and ease to ed's paralegal Amy. she handled all matters with expertise, swiftness, and i was never made to feel as if I was a bother (there were weeks i had to call her daily). she extended emotional reassurance every step of the way from day 1 to finalization which meant the world. I recommend this firm 10/10

Remi Spencer was referred to us by a friend of ours. I was being accused of a serious driving infraction when I actually had a stroke. This was very upsetting to my wife and I. Remi knew how to manage our fears and emotions. She is compassionate and caring, yet she is very stern. Remi is incredibly knowledgeable of the law and knew exactly what needed to be done. Worst experience of my life. Charged me way more then he first said and he did nothing but screw me over and kept postponing my court date because he had more important things to take care of he said. I was fighting to see my son more and had to wait 7 months to get to court bec of him. He Charged me 5000 to do nothing then wanted another 5000 to goto court. He was a horrible horrible laywer. My case was so easy I ended up not going to court with a laywer and i got 50 50 custody and got more then I asked for by myself. Don't waste your money on this guy.

I would not recommend this attorney. After paying $5000 he made my child support turn from $20 to $800, sent me an email telling me he was trying to contact me for more than a month when clearly the email was working fine and in zoom court he doesn’t know how to present himself professionally. One instance where he was representing me against my ex-wife, the camera was pointed only at his mouth from the nose down. Another instance, he had a picture of Scarface with a machine gun in the background in his office during court. Shop around.

They really messed up mine ,the IRS was supposed to be included in my bankruptcy come to fine that it wasn’t. Jim said they sent them notice but in talking to irs they stated they never got anything.so somehow I’m left with no real help from them I send them everything I get.but of late have not heard back from Jim.This is a nightmare when you are using a firm you are supposed to trust to do everything right,they were given all documentation needed somehow the irs was left out.

Carolyn was a great advocate from the beginning. She was firm, smart and detailed. Carolyn took the time to understand my complex financial situation that involved me being self-employed as well as having several complex trust matters. I was willing to "give away the farm" at the onset of proceedings, but Carolyn was able to settle my case for a much less than I had anticipated. I originally chose Carolyn because I felt she could "play nice" in a settlement scenario, but also be fierce should we have had to go to trial.

I had a deeply troubling experience with Attorney Raj Saddah and his firm. Initially, everything seemed fine, but the situation took a turn for the worse when my assigned attorney left the firm. As I was nearing the end of my case, I chose to follow my attorney to her new firm, believing it was in my best interest. Since then, Raj Saddah's firm has been nothing short of a nightmare. Despite having funds in escrow, they have been bombarding me with exorbitant bills and threatening me with collections and legal action. It’s baffling to me why they are trying to garnish my wages when they already hold money that should cover any outstanding fees. I have reached out multiple times seeking clarification and resolution, but my attempts to communicate have been met with silence. It seems like my former attorney's departure has led to vindictive actions from Raj Saddah’s firm. The lack of professionalism and courtesy in handling this matter is beyond disappointing. It feels like my situation is being used as leverage in a personal vendetta between Raj Saddah and my former attorney. This kind of behavior is not only insensitive but also highly unethical. I should not be caught in the crossfire of a dispute between a law firm and a former employee. If you’re considering working with this firm, I strongly advise against it. Their defensive responses to similar complaints, coupled with their inability to separate personal grievances from professional service, raise serious concerns. Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere for legal representation.

I highly recommend Chris and his office staff. I honestly don’t like writing reviews, but this one is definitely deserving. Throughout the almost year my case went on, he stayed up to date about each detail my case entailed. He was honest. Told me “this is how it is” and what to expect. It has taken me almost two months since my husband's case was dismissed to leave this review, because I just haven't been able to find the right words to express my gratitude. I can only hope that our story helps someone else in their journey. 5 days after we got married, my husband was falsely accused of a serious crime. It was the scariest, darkest and loneliest time of our lives & we had absolutely no idea where to turn. We were initially working with a local South Jersey firm (only because they were top of mind), and they helped us a lot early on, but we knew that we needed better representation long-term. Especially once my husband was charged. On a Saturday morning, a family member referred us to Rosenberg | Perry, and by early Saturday afternoon, we were on the phone with Rob. We spoke for about an hour, and as we were explaining what had transpired, we could hear the frustration in Rob's voice because this wasn't the first time he'd encountered this kind of injustice. It felt like he was going through the emotions with us and truly sympathized with our situation. He made sure that we understood what was happening and what would likely happen next, and then we scheduled a phone call for the following morning to meet with him and another attorney at his firm, Ed. It was at this time that my husband and I had to make the most important decision of our lives, which was: Which firm do we pick to save his life – the one we'd been working with, or Rosenberg | Perry? It felt impossible to know, since most criminal defense attorneys advertise online that they're the 'best', but my husband knew right away that his attorney was Rob. From the detention hearing to the indictment, arraignment and pre-trial conferences, Rob and his team were with us every step of the way. And they would've fought hard for us in trial, too, if the case made it that far (Spoiler alert: It didn't, because ALL charges were dismissed). It didn't matter what time of day something came up in his case, or what questions we had, because they always got right back to us and made us feel at ease. Not once did we doubt their judgment or recommendations – They were spot on every time. There were definitely some low moments, too, being a wife to someone falsely accused of something so awful, and Rob & Alecia always took the time to talk to me and reassure me with such comfort that I felt like I was talking to a therapist. We knew we hired a great attorney, but the kindness and extra lengths they went for us... like I said, I don't know if I'll ever have the right words to express my gratitude. They're just truly the best of the best. When you're suddenly labeled a 'criminal' in the state of New Jersey, it feels like everyone turns away from you. Like you've been exiled. Like for your whole life, you've sailed seamlessly on a ship with no issues, and then out of nowhere, you find yourself sinking in the middle of the ocean. There's holes in your ship, and you don't know how they got there, but you can't possibly plug them all by yourself – so you just sit, surrender and accept that you're going to sink. And right when you think that no one could ever possibly show up to help you out of this—because who would want to board a sinking ship?—Rob and his team show up with all the tools to fix it. They take your hand, lead the way, and before you know it... you're sailing again. You can't believe it, but you are. We trusted Rob & his team with my husband's life, and that's an incredibly terrifying thing to do when the stakes were so high. But they saved him, and saved our future together, and no review or abundance of 'thank yous' will ever be enough. If you're looking for an incredible, compassionate, responsive, 'fear-nothing' law firm to represent your case... then stop looking. Because you've found them. Thank me later. :)

Everything was filed quickly but they said “the court doesn’t provide updates” many times when asked. Almost a year into my process, my ex heard from a friend that their divorce was finalized in less than two months and then she tried calling the court to get information, she was then told our divorce was finalized 7 months prior. I went to court and was able to get the final decree, but still haven’t been notified by my lawyers that I’m divorced…

Not going to lie, they are quick with starting the divorce process but it has been almost 8 months and my divorce still isn't finalized...and I was told my divorce should be finalized from 6-7 months, then they pushed it back and told me it is now 6-8months. What's next, a year? I ask for an update and I get told that they will get back to me and they never get back to me. These reviews did get my hopes up unfortunately. I just want this process over with already.

This team deserves way more than 5 stars. I hardly know where to begin to express my immense gratitude for everyone at the offices of Tomasella and Vacca.
