They have represented me in the 3M settlement. They told me the letter was sent to my bank on 5 September. They also said the were I constant contact with my bank. My bank has not heard from them. I have sent multiple emails and called 3 times. They have yet to call or respond to my inquiries. As of 24 Sept I still have not received money from them. If I could give a negative star it would represent my feelings toward these scam artist.

We were incredibly fortunate to have Stephanie Rhima represent my son during one of the most challenging times of his life. My son got into legal trouble and needed a court appointed lawyer. He was fortunate enough to get Greg Boling. Greg was able to get the cases resolved with the best possible outcome. Greg knows all the judges, prosecutors, and processes to negotiate the Denton legal system effectively.

If you want to win a case , just HIRE someone else. Your life and future is on the line. He was just lazy Throughout my whole case , I was humiliated during my trial he never once put my side of the story out to be heard. A few seconds after I was found guilty he was already sitting down stuffing his face with pizza, laughing and having a good time right in front of me , This is not someone you want to represent you if you care about your record your identity and future. I am not the type to leave any reviews but this was my life and my future I was fighting for my dreams of becoming a constable are shattered atleast for the next 5 years.

In the summer of 2023 I found myself in a situation that I never thought myself to be in. I was involved in an incident where there could have been some serious consequences, for others and also me. Luckily no one got hurt but I did spend the night in jail and was facing a serious charge. I feel responsible for what happened and fortunately Erin agreed to represent me. Erin walked me through what may happen, informed me of the worst case scenario and the also the best. She represented me, tried to ease all my concerns which were many, kept me informed on the progress of the case, advised me on all the options that I could pursue, and all the while was very professional in her dealings with me as a client and as a person who needed help. Mary Beth Sullivan is inept and passive.
I hired Mary Beth to represent me in a Child Support Modification Case. At best she allowed opposing counsel to set the tone and pace. By the end of the Pre-Trial I was in a worse position that when we started. As a result of her poor decisions and incompetence, I realized that I needed to start over and find another lawyer. As a suggestion, please ask for references and outcomes of a cases similar to yours before hiring her.

I used Shane and his team once again. This time was to ensure that my daughter was to remain living in Texas with me. This is the third time that I have needed help from the McFarland Law Firm. This was my first time working with his new team that includes Mo and Anna. Once again, McFarland law did not disappoint. Communication was clear, honest, and above all constant. Brilliant strategies in court. Shane and team were very honest and clear about all the options that could happen moving forward so that there were no real surprises. Rob walked me through the process because this was my first time to ever be arrested or in trouble for anything. Handled all the details and just let me know when to be where. He would communicate and keep me updated on each step of the process and was patient with me. The resolution ended with deferred adjudication and a charge for "Obstruction of a Roadway". Not having the DWI charge has saved my career and I couldn't be more grateful.

Rob was hired to help me with my arrest for DUI. My friend knew Rob and he immediately was able to help me with bail. Rob worked with me and explained things very clear what steps he would be taking, what he would do, and what I should do when it came time for court.
Rob was amazing. He always pushed for things to move forward and not let me hang in the wind. He was able to have the arrest diminished to obstruction, my probation severely reduced and for me to move on and not let this impede my life.
I have recommended Rob to everyone I know if I hear they have had any trouble.

Amazing! I couldnt possibly express how happy we were with him as our lawyer nor the dismissal he was able to achive for us. He was straight foward and honest with us. Attorney Treadgill handled my case professionally and competently. He has a relationship with the clergy in Houston where my case was tried and was able to get my case heard and fairly processed timely and the results were in my best interest. We did not have any resets and going back and forth to court. It was resolved in the first scheduled appearance and I was completely satisfied. Terrible experience with Sarah particularly. My coparent withheld my ability to see my infant on multiple occasions, Sarah charged me for documentation that didn’t improve or remedy the situation; the coparent was not held accountable whatsoever. The response I received from filing the expensive paperwork Sarah’s firm advised was my coparent filing a false police report saying their vehicle was broken into implicating me for which I had proofs were 100% false (the vehicle was NOT broken into or tampered with and I was nowhere remotely close to area it was located at the time in question). I was required to meet at police stations following that accusation - know what the coparent showed up in?? The undamaged vehicle in question on the DAY FOLLOWING the accusation. (For the record, it’s supposed to be a crime in Texas to file a false police report). Again, none of it mattered when we *never made it to court* — saddled with $25k worth of representation debt (when the standard for family court settlements is ~$11k to my understanding), a hefty child support amount, and ONE day more than a standard possession as a non-custodial parent. I wrote her an angry, frustrated “who do you work for here?” email to which she felt the need to call me personally at 3 am having me tell her I thought she was the perfect person to help me with my situation or she would be resigning my case. Should’ve dropped her then and there. I’m an honorably discharged veteran, a former federal employee, an Eagle Scout, etc. I was up against someone with a an assault record. Continuously told her firm I wanted a 50/50 coparenting agreement and wasn’t trying to skirt child support because I didn’t think it would help my case. Not what was presented at the 2-3 court days we were supposed to have, I took off work for and made special arrangements for but didn’t actually “take.” We never made it to court - ended up in mediation with a RETIRED judge who didn’t read or pay any attention to the facts of the case whatsoever as his blanketed opening statement at mediation was - “I don’t care what the facts are here, I’m not taking any child away from his mother short of something drug related” - a determination based solely based on gender/sex. I did 90% of the talking during mediation; Sarah and her assistant sat there and barely spoke. I’m not an attorney. I didn’t get paid $25k to represent someone. Had no idea what I was doing. Sarah worked with the coparent’s attorney and came up with a 30+ page document that provides more coverage for my co-parent than me and I was billed for it; co-parent walked away from the case on a pro-bono basis. If I mess up, jail time and fines. If the co-parent messes up, there would be hefty court fees for me to enforce anything and then next to 0 repercussions for them. My coparent has been so empowered by how easy it was to walk over me that she has continued to violate the agreement (never missed a day with my son, coparent’s missed a plethora; coparent doesn’t send written updates when our circumstances change, I’ve had to; coparent moved outside the agreed upon living area, repercussions are supposed to be me becoming custodial, NOPE; coparent filed 2 more false police reports since implicating but not naming me to avoid harassment charges, nothing stopping them). If you’re a single father out there for any reason and are looking for help, know upfront no one (courts, attorneys, etc) cares about the dad’s rights or involvement in a child’s life. Since the resolution, I’ve struggled to make ends meet between the debts and my obligations. Think when I’m struggling to this degree that I can afford or would even bother going back to court to have my coparent “held accountable” for the violations?? Steer clear of Sarah’s firm; felt massively overcharged for the minimal support or intervention I received from them.
