It is hard to find words to express our profound gratitude to Todd Bennett. From the moment we contacted him with the arrest of our son, he took charge and knew exactly what to do. Ashley and her team set a very high bar for service to her clients. It was my first time engaging with the justice system and Ashley was THE BEST person to guide me through a scary and unknown process. While calling around all over Galveston county, and having several consultations, we spoke with Eric Little one time and decided to retain him. We explained everything in an honest conversation. He had no judgement or opinions. We went with a gut instinct and it proved to be beneficial. His retainer was fair, and straight forward from the beginning. Mr. Little has a professional approach that involves facts and proof that will stop a case from dragging forward and costing you a ton of money. He is straight-forward, professional, and he is a no-nonsense kind of Attorney. He does not sugar coat anything for either side. He has a professional relationship in the courts. He suggested what to get to prepare, we did just that, he presented it to the opposing Attorney and it all ended in mediation. The other parent wanted sole custody, my son was awarded equal rights (the same that the mother has) he was awarded extended visitation, shared holidays, and the mother received a geographic restriction (the mother wanted to move hours away). He made sure the other parent can't just up and take his children away from the family they are attached to, and were born and raised with. His emphasis was not taking love and commonality away from innocent children. Cases hardly ever end good for the father, and he made sure this one did.
Hopefully we will not need him again ;) but if YOU need a decent Attorney and you are a good parent just wanting your earned and deserved rights to your child/children, I recommend you give him a try.

They say the best defense is a great offense. With Mr. Sokolowski, my husband and our family found just that. Within two, maybe three weeks of telecommunications between me and Mr. Sokolowski, my husband's bail, which was right at $100,000, was reduced 82%. My husband and I are still amazed!
The offense did not just start with negotiations on the bail, rather with his introduction to our family and my husband's cases. My husband is in Centerville, TX (Leon County) and our home is North of Dallas, about 200 miles away. I introduced myself via a voicemail. I was pleasantly surprised he returned my call and didn't flinch at communicating via e-mail and phone.
Mr. Sokolowski listened to my concerns, readily accepted letters my husband and I already submitted to the court, and ran with that groundwork to continue bail reduction negotiations. In fact, he contacted me with an amount and I was sure was it, the DA had already dropped it by 60% or so. The next day and e-mail from Stanley notified me of an even a better offer. I still can't get over his negotiation results!
We have also thrown him some curve balls by asking him to speak with other attorneys from other counties. He has consistently been pleasant, cooperative, very strategic and ultimately fighting for my husband's best interest, even when he's discussing cases elsewhere. He has always focused on the ending outcome in Leon County.
He is very competent, seems to have good relations with the DAs, but most of all he offer(s) my family and I Hope. We need the hope and talking with Stanley is just a blessing which eases my mind. I have been speaking with several lawyers and feel I have received more results and service Pre-indictment with Stanley than with anyone else. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Stanley Sokolowski to my friends and family.

In domestic violence or immigration cases you will not find a better person suited for the job. She is all fact, no nonsense wrapped in a kind and generous person. In fact her knowledge about new laws will blow you away, and leave you feeling at peace. We had a tough case by all accounts and everything considered, but she made the whole process seem effortless while working so hard to win for us, and we did win.

My brother and I both got in a car accident by a drunk driver back in 2022. Although the other individual was absolutely at fault, some lawyers wouldn't want to take the case unless my brother sues me when I was also a victim. Even though we didn't have a case to build due to my wife being in perfect health and not neededing and treatment a couple days after her accident, these people answered all of our questions and walked us through the whole process on everything we wanted to know. Very unprofessional. Paid to go to trail. Never heard from her up until the trial date where I asked if she would like to get with my witnesses and come up with a game plan for trial. She told me she was sick with pneumonia and influenza A and that it would get reset. Had scheduled work off but decided to go in because it was going to be “reset”. After texting multiple days and no response I had to call up court and they informed me that I did have court (the next day). We went to court unprepared and she showed up late (every other time she did also) and screamed at the judge that she had pneumonia and couldn’t talk. Mind you she is screaming. The judge told her it wouldn’t get reset without a Dr. note. Unbelievably, somehow she couldn’t come up with one, so they proceeded with trail. I ended up taking plea deal because I didn’t feel confident, having never had a meeting about trail. She told me she was ready to go, which completely contradicted what she had told the judge “I can’t do a trail today”. After this I decided I couldn’t trust her with my freedom and settled. Please don’t make the same mistake I did and further research an attorney who will fight for their clients and also communicate with them. WASTE OF MONEY. Find someone reputable.

Hired this person on a referral from James Hedelston. Biggest mistake of my life.
This attorney never spoke to the police officer witness who was previously subpoenad and waiting outside court room. The officer Arrested my ex for a Dwi while the children were in the vehicle . This attorney also never spoke to the person he was run over by my ex while with the children in the vehicle . That person was waiting outside courtroom also on November 2018.
This attorney told me that I had to take a settlement of supervise visitation and give my children to the person who has physically emotionally ,financially, and medically abused us For last several years even after my ex was just arrested a few weeks before for domestic assault. .
Immediately after saying I should agree she dropped me because I had little money. The very next day 2018 on Facebook she posted how she was looking to give free legal counsel to a family in need. She was stating how she wanted to give back to the community.
