I’m not one that typically attends anything free as I believe "you get what you pay for" especially when it comes to something as important as protection of assets. I learned about Esther Wang through the California Department of Aging Family Caregiver Resource Centers that provide free benefits to family caregivers. As Trustee of my mom’s estate, I retained Esther as my estate attorney in December, 2023, upon my mom’s passing. I'm not here to rate the work of this buffet as defenders, but to say that they are very irresponsible people, anyone who is in the finance department, along with the supervisor. I have been waiting for a refund of $20,000, for more than 6 months... which was supposed to happen in 3-4 weeks. And every time I call, absolutely no one can help me, I have sent emails to support and there is no answer either, they tell me that on Monday, gosh, I'm calling on Monday. I think that if they are not responsible in one thing, they are not responsible in anything.

When you’re presented with an invitation to attend in a mailer, you may have reservations, this was a truly gift!! My wife and I were educated and guided through the process of creating a family trust. Both of our parents had attorney’s that “worked” with wills/trusts, but came up short. We put off getting a trust for years. After attending a seminar with Scott Schomer we realized that the time had come to get a trust. We were given very good reasons for why we should get a trust. No pressure, just the plain facts. We are very relieved and happy to finally get our trust. Scott and Cesar were very knowledgeable, helpful and listened to our ideas of what we had to say. I interviewed too many attorneys before I met Mr. Rubin. Steve, in my sincere opinion, is without doubt the winner. I'm highly cautious of attorneys and lawyers (whatever you want to call them). Working with Mr. Rubin on my Estate Trust planning was a treat. Let me tell you, when you find a good lawyer, don't ever lose them, they're worth their weight in gold.
I can count the reasonable attorneys I've hired on less than one hand.

I hired Beti to represent me in a family dispute that had been brewing and knew would become extremely contentious. To save costs, Beti directed the associate lawyer who later left but then was replaced by another associate attorney, Lorne who was very detail oriented, responsive and capable. I was always advised honestly of what would happen. Beti and Lorne did not escalate any matter in order to pad their bill. Beti is a tough lawyer and not afraid to fight. But she and her associate always gave me the landscape of options and what would happen if I chose one option over the other. And when I did chose an option, they played a strong hand.
