This law firm I still believe is a good firm to represent your case. Although, I tried to retain them most recently. My review is regarding the intake staff personnel Sarah. Sarah’s professionalism, communication, and ability to listen and assist a client is subpar. First call, I specifically asked for a particular attorney, she then suggested another attorney. Due to them moving into the Dallas office the next day, she advised to give her until the following week for someone to contact me. I was patient and in that waiting time, decided I would go with her suggestion as the Dallas attorney was more affordable, closer, and honestly had stronger credentials. Never got the follow-up call. I called and she only kept trying to redirect me. There were some back and forth and I ended up requesting for one of the Managing Partners to respond to a specific request. Guess what, she follows up without ever asking but comes back with a generic response. Keep in mind, this is after waiting another week for the MP to return. I had to wait for her to go back to ask the original request. Long story short, her mannerism doesn't display trustworthiness, but a person who appears to want to do her own thing. I still don’t believe she communicated properly to the MP. It appears that she may not have the client nor the firms' best interest in mind. In my opinion she doesn’t need to be at the forefront when she has created weeks of delay and roadblocks, and she was made aware that I was referred by a reputable friend of this firm.

I’m leaving this organization (2) stars. The second star came from you offering my $100.00 back after confirming with me you only work with “rich people” and not single mothers already struggling. The people seem nice and they respond to your concerns quickly….but if you ain’t rich this isn’t the law firm for you. My heart was broken when I begged them as a single mother to please work with me and I promise we could work out a realistic payment arrangement. Mr. Williams explained my case for child support and primary custody could possibly cost more than 4K. They also explained their retainer fees and how you’re billed for every call, text, email, or them touching your case. Lastly, per their organization direct response “I will advise you that if your retainer is depleted or you're retainer account ever has less than $1500, you will be asked to refill your retainer.” I advised them to go have a prayer with God and get back with me if they will accept 4K for my case and serve me as a client. I’m leaving you this long review because I’m an influencer as my side hustle and I want the world to see this and WAKE UP and realize money is the root of all evil! If God assigned you to be a lawyer he is trusting you with that higher level of authority to serve the people at your best ability. It’s 2025, times are hard I hope this is a wake up call for this organization to have a round table meeting and the subject should be “Do we really serve our people”? God bless these rich attorneys. May your money bring you happiness in this lifetime.

I contacted Ms Garza to handle a change in custody for one of my two sons, who both lived with their mom after I moved out of the immediate area after said son had issues with his mom's husband. I thought I had a horrible uphill battle ahead of me, until she represented me. Lisa broke it down for me what we could do, and I could tell right away I made the right decision. Her name alone let's the other side know you didn't come to screw around. She is dynamite, aggressive yet personable to her clients, and her associate and office staff are first class. I never had to worry about a phone call or question not being answered or returned. She gave me great guidance, and made suggestions that suited my son and me for now and in the future. She is no non-sense with her approach, and it seems most opposing attorney's are more than willing to work with her toward a mutual solution, but never did she compromise what mattered most to me. I cannot recommend her enough to anyone about to take the monster of divorce on, especially with children involved. I was made to feel like she had no other clients in the world, that I was the only one. I was so grateful I had the opportunity to retain Ms. Garza, and you will be too. She is fantastic to negotiate outside the court room, but if it comes to needing an in court force to be reckoned with, it's Ms. Garza.

I worked for Attorney Barbosa for 2 years as a legal assistant ending in 2023. I had to quit my job because of personal matters with my marriage. Fortunately, I had Mr. Barbosa as a friend and co-worker. He gave his time without charging me a cent for 9 months to get my divorce and custody casesettled in Mediation. I had a great experience with Roland Barbosa representing me in my divorce. It's never a pleasant experience to go through the legal process of divorce, but Roland made it simple and straightforward and provided numerous updates (and answers to my several questions) as I waited for the (long and slow) Dallas County courts to sign the paperwork that had been sitting on their docket for over 2 weeks. An uncontested, amicable divorce should be easy, and despite the draconian Texas laws, Roland helped make the process as easy as it could be. When the divorce decree was finally signed, he gave me an update even before the electronic system registered a change in the case. His fee is straightforward, and he provided all the paperwork we needed for all the potential steps in the case, from initial questionnaire to final filing and special warranty deed for the transfer of the home. I would highly recommend Roland to anyone seeking a streamlined process to divorce in the DFW area.

I met with Jere a few months ago, in a simple consultation, and he was fantastic. His knowledge of the law was more than evident, he listened to a pretty complex saga and gave us some terrific advice. He is respectful (which is VERY rare), I felt heard, validated and felt like anyone would be in great hands with him. I usually do not rate or review services online but I thought the stellar service I received from the Worrell Law firm deserves my time and recognition. Mr. Worrell made our dream of becoming parents painlessly true.
The fostering and adoption process is rewarding but can be very painful as it has so many ups and downs let alone the legal landscape that continuously changes and last minute obstacles.
I will not go through the whole painful story here but the very TLDR is that we were about to lose the kiddos that were placed with us for over 2 years since birth to a relative that never was present in their lives until a few weeks before trial and parental rights termination.We were devastated and wanted to fight for the kids to stay in the only family they had known. We thought all hope was lost until we were referred to the Worell law firm to assist.
I called Mr. Worell on the phone for an initial consultation and he did admit that it was not enough time to prepare since the trial was so close but he would work around the clock to fight for us. Before we even signed the retainer’s agreement Mr. Worell had already reached out to the social worker and the DA to inquire about the case. What kind of lawyer would care as much for the person than the check? I really was wow’ed by that. He gathered all the evidence he could find in a short time and was ready for trial. He made a great case for us before the judge and… that cross examination during trial..Oh boy, he really knew what he was doing. After that victory, Mr. Worell worked closely with us for the adoption and even went an extra mile to prepare the birth certificate application and made sure everything was well organized to be sent to the Vital Statistics. I am very grateful to you and your team Mr. Worell and would 100% recommend to anybody who need an excellent and caring lawyer.

I had to take the time to write a review to share our experience with the Worrell Law Firm. This was truly an amazing experience for my family. We did a Termination/Step parent adoption. Throughout the entire process, Blanca and Sylvia were on it. They kept us informed of the process for court and all the necessary steps we needed to take. Not only did they help in the adoption process, they also helped us with the termination of the absent father. (Which I didn't think was possible) I couldn't thank God enough for bringing these amazing attorneys in our lives. They truly care about our children and take pride in their work. When we arrived to the court, Mr. Worrell arrived sharp and ready for court. I knew he could tell we were all nervous. He took the time to speak to each one of my children. Speaking to all 3, he asked them, "do you know why you are here?" They said "to be adopted" He made them and us feel at ease before we went into court. During court he called all our family up front to share in this experience. This day was a very emotional and fantastic day. It will always be a day to remember. Paulette Mueller made my grandmothers estate go broke, made her delinquent on her taxes (simply did not file) cancelled our homeowners insurance and accepted only roughly 8k on a full coverage 250k+ policy which has led to black mold growing in the home my grandparents built by hand making my baby very sick. Made disgusting remarks about our home upon inspection in regards to a guardianship proceeding while we remained polite and courteous despite the situation, and now, at the ripe age of 21 I am in therapy full time over the horrific consequences she and (others involved) caused that have now fallen upon my shoulders. I am utterly disappointed, and heartbroken. I will never be the same. My grandmother died in vain, under ungodly amounts of stress. May God guide Paulette to have a heart full of empathy and compassion towards her future victims. Only the Lord knows the amount of trauma and havoc she reaped on my beautiful grandmother. May God guide her to remain in a mindset of kindness, and fairness, as I wouldn’t wish this turmoil on anyone. But as my grandmother would want me to live, I forgive her. I only hope for her growth and progress in a positive direction for the future. I. Will. Never. Be. The. Same. I am gone. At the age of 21, I am now a shell of who I once was. The person that raised me from diapers, put me into college, got my first car, carried herself in such a generous and Godly manner, died in vain. May God rest her beautiful soul, because now her pain and stressors have become an everyday part of my life. The only human beings that loved me unconditionally, my grandparents(parents), are now dead and gone forever, and I am alone in this scary world. The address for this location is 8150 N. Central Expressway. The way google Maps takes you to is by Klyde Warren Park. Incorrect and stressing. The location is, of course, off 75 exit Caruth. The tall gold glass window is it on the right. The building has 16 floors, I believe. If you need floors higher than 9, take the two elevators closer to Rhino coffee. I wish I'd known all this prior to my 1st appointment at Taylor Counseling. Other than that, I would have given this location a five. Google Maps, fix the directions for this location, please.
