If you are dealing with a family matter, I highly recommend working with Tina Corr.
Pricing: Tina Corr was fair and consistent with pricing. Her contract was straightforward and easy to read. Prices are reasonable and billing was explicitly spelled out ahead of time so no surprises.
Personality: Tina Corr was wonderful to talk to. She gave me the truth even if it wasn't what I wanted to hear. She read everything I sent (and I mean read, not just received) and she responded mindfully to all of my concerns.
Efficiency: Tina Corr was responsive (almost always within 24 hours via phone or email!) and efficient with paperwork. Everything was filed correctly on time if not early. I never felt like my lawyer left me hanging.
Flexibility: Tina Corr was able to respond specifically to the unique needs and requests I had for my case. I think family cases can be nuanced and mine was no different. Tina Corr was able curate the work on her end to suit my specific circumstance. I attribute this to the fact that she's a good listener and perceptive; qualities that can be difficult to find in a lawyer.

I chose Phyllis Bookspan to help me through my divorce because I wanted a barracuda with a heart. When I looked at her background, I was impressed with her credentials (Georgetown Law-I knew she would be intelligent and hard-working) but also knew she would be the right lawyer for me because of her background in Yoga and Mindfulness. I walked into her office looking for a collaborative divorce, but when she heard my history she put down her notes and clearly told me exactly why that would be the wrong decision. Gordon was my 3rd consultation, so how different he is, stood out immediately, and I knew right away that I found just what I needed. He is compassionate, passionate about his clients well being, incredibly fair, always there when needed, and a great sense of humor, when direly needed. My divorce dragged out for 4 yrs, from my spouses end, with him going through 4 attorneys, so I got to know Gordon very well. Gordon Brown is a one in a million, you could not ask for a better lawyer to fight for your child/children. He puts his heart in his work and once you meet him there is no questioning that. He makes you feel comfortable in the court room and really fights for what he believes is the best interest for the child. He is a genuine person which is truly rare in most lawyers. In my last court date my lawyer fought for more time for me . My original outline was just weekends during the day supervised of course . He helped push for dinners during the week which to me I thought was awesome to have more time . I have the highest respect and admiration for Lynn Snyder, Attorney for family law. She is extremely competent, compassionate and very experienced. Lynn is not the typical attorney that looks to churn the bill at every opportunity. I was recommended to see Lynn from an outstanding attorney from the domestic violence center. My family is so lucky that I met Lynn. She had me fill out all of the typical discovery paper work prior to our first complementary interview and she was well prepared to discuss my case prior to the start of the meter running. My case involved mental health issues with my spouse. (Through this journey I’ve found out that mental health issues are more prevalent than anyone would admit in our society.) By Lynn’s 18+ years as a Master in the Courts, her sage counsel and her respect from the courthouse, Lynn enabled me to get full legal and physical custody of my children, which is just short of a miracle in the state of Pennsylvania. In the end, Lynn also helped me have my wife get the help that was needed for my wife’s recovery. Lynn never pushed me to divorce, which would have been the easiest path for someone that didn’t care, but it would not have been the best road for my family. Instead, Lynn always provided solid counsel and guidance that in the end provided a path for our family to get back together and regain our lives. I can’t thank Lynn enough. Lynn has helped me with a very complex child custody case which she resolved
Smoothly for both parties. Then my wife put a PFA order against me which Lynn successfully argued and cross examined in court with my wife and the judge dropped the final PFA order just based on wife'a testimony and Lynn amazing discovery skills. Finally Lynn has helped me a emergency child custody petition fearing the mother was being deported back to her home county and now is in process to file annulment of marriage with my wife. In alll cases Lynn has prevailed and her knowledge of the law, her agressive, yet defensive and tactile approach to handling the cases helped me in each incident to be in my favor. I have gone through two very messy divorces and I wished that I would have known Atty Mintz back when the first one started. I hired a bigger firm thinking that I would get the protection that I needed but I was wrong. What I got was an attorney that knew how to run up a high bill and then I was left sit with very little left. If you want an excellent lawyer, chose attorney Benson. From experience, I learned that you need an attorney with an “aggressive” personality. I say that she is aggressive because she goes above and beyond and she keeps it real with her clients and when presenting her case. I hired her and I had sent her an email with so many questions. She got back to me on a holiday- in a timely manor. Regardless, she gets back to me in a timely manor- ALL THE TIME. The other night, she emailed me and answered my questions. Hired David for a very messy custody disagreement. He has always been straight forward and gave honest opinions on the case. He has been able to obtain almost 50/50 for me (father). He doesn't back down and has won court hearings that I thought for sure would of turned out worse.
