I contacted Kristina five years ago when my ex and I separated. I specifically hired her because of her vast knowledge of military law. We are in the middle of the divorce case I hired Victoria for, however I am in SC and she is in VA so we have to do it all by email and phone. Since she knows that I cannot afford to go to court for this divorce, she has assured me that she will try to keep our communications as brief as possible so as not to run up a huge bill at her charge of $200. per hour.
So far, she has been very good and I believe she truly cares about doing what is best for her clients. As I said, we are not finished yet but so far, I am very satisfied.

First of all, I did not want a divorce and when I met Susan and her team I was clear that I wanted to push for reconciliation. She agreed and the entire "tone" of the divorce was amicable. This was very important to me.
My wife hired a firm that was nasty from the start and Susan and her team kept our tone amicable which ended up making us look way better in mediation. Although divorce is expensive, I saved hundreds of thousands of dollars-really. Her team waded through the bogus claims of her counsel easily.

I was forced to hire an attorney because my ex had done some things in clear violation of our divorce decree, and had harmed the children in the process. Sandy immediately recognized the issues and determined that the case was very strong. My ex was being stubborn and refused to admit doing anything wrong, so we had to go to trial. Trial was in the Fairfax Circuit Court. Sandy was WAY more prepared than my ex's counsel, and it was not even a fair fight. Sandy Havrilak is one of the best I have seen. She eviscerated my ex on the stand, and the judge was eating it up. By the end of the trial, the judge was ready to throw my ex in jail -- something I did not ask for or want. If you want a tough, no BS lawyer who will fight for you -- call Sandy. Her associate, Julia Yolles, was also excellent by the way.

I probably had one of the most trying years last year in 2012. Kate was the one saving grace I had when it appeared all the chips were stacked against me in my divorce and other matters with the court. Kate was very diligent and thorough in her representation of me and helped to keep me grounded when the opposing side was being unreasonable, under-handed, abusive, and just flat out lying. Kate was able to peel back the onion piece by piece until the real truth came out and the tables turned for good in my direction. In the end she was able to have my divorce over in 6 months on the nose, she ensured I retained my home, and ultimately kept me from having to pay much more then the original reasonable offer I gave my ex-wife at the start of our Divorce.
Kate is a wonderful attorney and I am just glad she was on my side during this process and not on my ex's. The old saying goes you get what you pay for, well, Kate was worth every penny I spent on her and then some. Tim knows his stuff. I had three charges, 2 misdemeanors, 1 felony, I was founf not guilty of one of the misdemeanors and the other two charges were dismissed. He also made it so that after I am able to expunge the arrests, so it is as if the incident never happened. I hope that I never have to use a lawyer for criminal charges again, but if I do I know I will be calling Tim.

How have I not reviewed Mr. Spencer on this website already? Mr. Spencer is incredible. He truly gives so much time and attention to your case and tells you exactly what his expectations are. To be honest, he has never steered me wrong in any of the custody cases (there have been way more than I’d like to admit, unfortunately) he has represented myself (and now my husband) in. I recently engaged Ms Fierro on a serious criminal matter involving my son, which at the outset seemed very bleak. In the first discussion, she presented a number of options that helped reset our whole engagement in the matter. She laid out a set of alternatives, that she diligently pursued and actively involved my son in the decision process all along the way. Her knowledge of the law, and excellent communication skills made the entire process easy to move through. She also recommended the use of an expert witness that proved critical to the outcome. In the courtroom, Ms. Fierro was extremely proactive in advocating for my son's case. She presented such a strong case, that the result was a dismissal.
I am an attorney by training, but my specialty is constitutional law. From the vantage point of a person trained in the law, I was very impressed with Ms. Fierro's understanding of the law and procedural aspects of the case.

I have know Mr. Frank for about 26 years and asked for his assistance in an wrongful termination matter. Mr. Frank obtain my full unemployment benefits and proved that the termination was improper. I spent almost a month trying to get my landlord to respond to my important request. I had a very tight deadline and the landlord would not respond.
