Collaborating with Adam and his assistant Ishwar made a horrible incident in my life turn out sooth and effortless and I am BEYOND grateful! Honestly, as a person who would have never thought I would’ve needed a lawyer, I dont know how things would have turned out if it weren’t for Adam. Words can't describe how happy I am that I used Mr. Perskin. I was in a pretty gnarly situation (to say the least) and from the moment we met, he showed immense confidence, listened to me, and fought super SUPER hard for me. I first contacted Afia via her IG page, answered few questions about NIW then suggested a consultation call which I did. I booked a call and sent my CV, she said that my chances are strong and recommended going for NIW.
Now, it is worth noting that I consulted three lawyers before, all said they would not take my case since I do not have journal articles published. Regardless of that, I chose to take Afia's recommendation hire Yunus law. At the end of the day impression is perception and after the consultation call and watching her IG reels, the impression I had she is professional, knows what she does, and honest, so that is why I still took her recommendation although three others said no strong chances.
Afia and her team are committed, work professionally , and most importantly diligent in following up regarding the documents needed for the process. Also they generously premium processed my petition before my payment (I do not think that happens in other places :)
Finally I got my I-140 approved and I can't wait to apply for the green card.
I highly recommend working with Afia and her team, and if you are not sure, call them and prepare some good questions to help you make your final decision.

I found the communication to be less effective than I had hoped. There were instances where my questions went unanswered, and I felt a bit lost in the process without sufficient guidance. I believe there may be opportunities for improvement, especially when assisting new buyers, particularly within the Hispanic community.

I had a complicated situation where in i had to get divorce through publication as my husband & i had not been in contact for 5 years & i was out of US for few years. (it was an abusive marriage)
I reside in Buffalo & i spoke with several attorneys locally but i did not feel that any of the local attorneys were able able to understand my situation. Some suggested that i locate my husband & each one of them wanted to start by identifying & listing the assets.

Lois acted as the mediator in my divorce, and she was absolutely excellent. It was a very difficult time for me personally, but Lois made the process as easy and painless as it could possibly have been. She listened to each of us separately, and made thoughtful and helpful suggestions. She is fair, and seemed to genuinely care about finding a solution that was best for both parties.
Lois is perfectly qualified to handle this type of situation, given her background in psychology. She truly understands people, and used this ability to keep my ex-husband and I calm, and smoothly navigate a few tricky situations.

Inferiority complex? When she introduced herself to me, she mentioned that she thought I had some pre-formed opinion of her that she was a young girl, incapable to represent me properly. I assure you, i had no pre-conceived notions. She did however prove to be the wrong representation for me. If you are not female, do not hire. Christine Verbitsky represented me in a case involving my ex-wife, where I had been overpaying child support for years. She sat down to negotiate with my ex and after some girlish giggling came back to tell me how many thousands i needed to produce that very day or face incarceration. This from the person who was to protect me. I am still traumatized years later. Just to give perspective, I now have full custody, but my ex still owes me over 30K. This is where Miss Verbitsky has left me. She shamelessly threw me under the bus basically extorting thousands of dollars from her own client, under threat of incarceration. She actually was the only one to ever mention incarceration to me and she warned me it was imminent. I left this attorney review on AVVO, and she immediately emailed me, threatening me with libel or some nonsensical legal action. Please. Sue me, I will counter-sue for the 7 thousand you made me borrow to, "stay out of jail." Should never have happened. I blame my representation entirely for the outcome. Again, look at her reviews, all women Have a nice day.

I have been a client of AnneMarie Lanni for some time now. She has been helping me work through many serious issues revolving around custody of my daughter. From day one, she has always been open, truthful, and communicative with me. I never once felt like she did not care or didn't have the time for my case. Communication has never been an issue. Whenever I needed to speak to her, she has always reached out to me if it was through the firm's portal, email, or by phone. She is extremely friendly and warm, which makes it so much easier to work with her. But do not let her friendly demeanor fool you. When it comes to presenting in court, she is a straight shooter and isn't easy to rattle. She is not the one to be pushed around and has always been on top of her game. She makes it known that my child and my concerns are her top priority. I have always felt comfortable entering a courtroom because of her. She comes prepared. She is very knowledgeable of family law, and it truly shows when she is standing in front of the judge while representing her client. I would like to add that the office staff at the firm are all top notch. I was involved in a really bad situation that would've cost me points on my license and a misdemeanor on my record. The court appointed me an Attorney who told me that the D.A. wasn't willing to negotiate and I should just accept having points on my license and a criminal offense on my record. I thought about it and told him " I'll think about it".. The next day I said a prayer and God told me " Get an Attorney, who isn't court appointed !!! ". I searched the internet and came across " The Law Office of Kenneth Mollins". After reading the awesome reviews , I gave them a call. I spoke with Tim and he assured me that he will keep fighting until I got the best deal available. He kept fighting for me until I walked away with an offer of no points on my license, a traffic ticket, and a reasonable amount of time to pay it. I highly recommend their Law Office because they are extremely knowledgeable, competent, helpful, affordable and they patiently address any questions or concerns you may have as a client. They will always be my go to Law Firm.
