On a good day Guardianship can be confusing and challenging, especially for a new Guardian. You are constantly familiarizing yourself with new information pertaining to a wide array of topics that come along quickly and consistently. At times you require help and insight from those with more experience specific to the legal intricacies that you may suddenly be encountering. Hook and bait. Overpriced. Charges for everything single second, even for bathroom breaks. The lawyer is old as stone and slow. He coughs dust. Forgets things and should have retired 6 years ago. He’s not flexible with dates since he has early bedtimes and naps. Save yourself time and money. Go find yourself a younger lawyer with more stamina.

Our experience, since becoming clients of Attorney Christopher Johnson, has been excellent. Christopher first handled my case where I was involved in an automobile accident while on a business trip, out in Seattle. This happened over 20 years ago. The rental car was totaled, and though I suffered only minor injuries. Mr. Johnson was able to get me a settlement from the owner of the truck that was responsible for the damage to at least three cars, all of which were stopped on a highway off-ramp, due to construction and lane reduction. Luckily (at least for me), I was 2nd in line, and didn’t receive the full brunt of the initial collision, but the force was hard enough to push my car into the van in front of me. The people in the van had the nerve to sue me, and Christopher was able to get that lawsuit thrown out of court. Since then, Mr. Johnson has advised us on many other legal and financial matters, both major and minor, and we consider him to be a good friend as he is always looking out for our best interests. I highly recommend engaging Attorney Christopher Johnson for your legal matters.

In a town full of directness I am surprised to have encountered such flakiness. Since relatively few co-op buildings that fall within HDFC guidelines, I definitely wanted a lawyer who understood the program and its special regulations. After the initial, larger firm that I retained failed to make any progress with my HDFC case over a year, I retained Jennings's firm. My first lawyer--who has been interviewed by local news outlets for his HDFC expertise and listed as an NYC co-op specialist--had jeopardized my case with his negligence (my retainer was refunded). As a result, I faced a pending, time-sensitive notice without legal representation. Furthermore, as my case was not straightforward and required investigation, I found many lawyers could not estimate my case's potential cost or length. Walter Jennings and his daughter Elizabeth (who is also an attorney with his firm) were amazing. Serving as an intermediary between various third parties, they made more progress in one month than my initial attorney had been in a year. Ultimately, and due to Jennings's hard work, a court ruled in my favor. With a full-time Office Manager, the firm has always been receptive to my inquiries whether by phone or email. We have used josh for selling and buying houses. He is 110% the best RE attorney I never seen. Lots of my friend says RE attorney don’t do anything, I told them that they didn’t get lucky to find a good one. Good attorney could make deals but bad one destroys all relationships. I cannot more highly recommend Josh Bogaty and his firm for Long Island real estate transactions. I am myself a lawyer, but do not handle real estate transactions. I was looking for experienced real estate counsel to handle the simultaneous sale of and purchase of residential real estate, a stressful situation that's like trying to thread a needle, with a lot of potential pitfalls. Divorce, even under amicable -ish terms is painful. Fluctuating emotions and unsolicited advice from family and friends can make even the most rational and clear headed think they are losing their mind. I was extremely concerned because my wife hired a pit-bull attorney. I was recommended the law office of Donald Mastrodomenico by a very high Manhattan firm. Richard knows the Queens court. He knows Queens culture. My ex-wife complained about how her lawyer was looking to create strife in order get more money. I never felt that way. In fact, he spent more time with me teaching me about how the divorce court works in Queens, which was not the case for my ex-wife's with her more expensive lawyer. I always felt he looked out for my best interests. He truly protected my best interests. Once we worked out what was feasible and what I wanted, he was able to work my ex-wife's attorney to get a shared custody settlement that worked for me and was best for my two daughters.
