If you are reading this in search of finding an attorney, you don’t need to look anywhere else. My experience with use of a different attorney unfortunately gave me huge disappointment until I found GAYLE ROSENBLUM'S office, located in Melville.
After my latest extremely negative experience with alaw firm, I was horrified to retain someone new. Time was extremely precious. My custody trial was approaching and I was desperately looking for a new representation. I reached out to Gayle's office on Friday morning and Liz (Gayle's paralegal) was able to accommodate meeting with Gayle on the same day, (FRIDAY 5PM!). During the consultation, Gayle took the time and explained things to me, I was not rushed (English is my 2nd language). Gayle provided clarity, honest upfront information. Maybe not all that I wanted to hear but she was honest and said all the real expectations up front. The legal advice I received from her was spot on. My consultation fee was worth every single penny.
From the day GAYLE ROSENBLUM took over my case, she resolved every single thing we went after. She was the help my children and I needed to get out of a horrible situation during extremely difficult times in our lives. After experiencing disappointing work practices of the previous lawyer, I found Gayle extremely dedicated to her clients, honest, and most of all, always on the top of the things and on time with things. Gayle gave me the confidence and strength to take the action needed during uncertain and scary transition. Gayle was always keeping in mind my children's best interests guiding me, so the right decisions were made throughout my case.
The level of care and compassion I received from Gayle and her paralegal, Liz, blew my mind. Gayle made me feel I mattered and that my children mattered. It was a big boost of confidence knowing Gayle had my back.
After the custody case was resolved, Gayle also represented me in Child Support Modification case in Family Court. Gayle again delivered fantastic representation and fought for increase of the child support with positive final outcome in this matter.

I Saira Mohammed was referred to Frank Trief September 2010. I was driving going home from the movies with my two sons Aidan (5yrs) & Adam (3yrs) in my 2009 Honda Odyssey. I was driving 20mph to 25mph between 12:30 to 1am that Saturday night into Sunday morning when i was t -bone at a right away green light intersection, which i had the green lights. The other vehicle which was an Audi was going 70mph t-bone me on to the traffic lights completely removing it and into the front of a residents house. my sons was dramatized, thank god they were seat belted properly. I was the only one sustained most of the injuries, i suffered a slip disc to my spine, torn ligaments to my left knee, pinch nerve to my upper neck and my left elbow. my sons was checked out at the emergency in good health, thank God. I made an appointment to go for consultation at Frank Trief and without any hesitation he was hired before the meeting was over.
Frank Trief discussed every single little detail about what was going to be done and what were the steps to move forward with my case. All i submitted to him was photos, details of the accident how it happened and my insurance company which was Geico and still is. He referred me to highly recognized doctors and medical facilities that was trained to handle my situation and claims. He was very on point, professional and informative in every aspect of my case. He advised me to make sure and go to my therapy appointments, get all my X-rays and if needed surgery be sure to get it done. He told me that all my results will be forward to him and that will make our case stronger and will lead in the right direction. I never one day went to court when i was served documents from the other party, I emailed or faxed everyone as I received it to Frank and he told me not to worry everything is going accordingly. I placed my trust, confidence without any sort of hesitation. He made that part of my life stress free and with confidence I was able to continue my life with my sons and Frank dealt with all my legal problems without any complains and hassle to worry about.
We won the case and i was very much satisfied and was compensated for my injuries. I will highly recommend Frank Trief because of his expertise, professionalism, and direct approach to every needed situation. God forbid a situation to happen to me in the future Frank Trief is just a phone call away, email or text message. My best regards to him on coming back to do what he's an excellent attorney.

I was struck down by a car ~ 5 yrs. ago. As you can imagine that is a very difficult time in all respects. The doctor takes care of the medical, but Frank took care of the legal issues!
He also helped calm my nerves which were so frayed. I did not know what to expect: a deposition? legal documents? He helped me through it all in a clear and calming manner. That's what you need in a lawyer. That's what he did.

I was a former MD in finance, & after 30+ years of marriage, at just under 60 yrs. old, I retained Donald early 2015. My court approved final consensual settlement was processed in December 2019. (Timing was my ex's fault, she explored 3 attorneys in sequence.) I got to know Don fairly well over that time. He prefers a consensual agreement between parties, NOT court battles. - i suspect that his style minimizes the parties' angst, and doesn't maximize his billable hours per case. Speaking of which, he bills in 1/10 hour increments... and I found his bills always accurate and fair. (I've worked with lots of law firms professionally).
Donald was always calm and cool even when I found retracing repeat issues with my ex supremely frustrating. He never fanned the flames.
Importantly, because of some odd investments I had, Don was quick and effective at reaching tax, finance and accounting specialists whose input we needed to factor into our settlement.
Weird bottom line, If I ever had to get divorced again, [which I will never never] I'd retain Donald.

I highly recommend Don as a divorce attorney. From the beginning he showed himself to be a man of integrity and knowledge. Unlike other attorneys, Don was not out to try to run up a bill that was not necessary. He advised me to try to work out as much as possible with my ex-spouse before getting him involved.
He is somebody who I was always able to count on and I always knew that my interests were primary in his negotiations.

I did not know of Don at the time of my divorce; however, when my attorney was retiring, he referred me to Don.
I had numerous issues with my ex-husband an Don took the control and stress from me. He quickly diffused the situation and was instrumental in ensuring my children's welfare.

Lily is experienced, professional, knowledgeable, compassionate, fearless, and honest. She was the second divorce attorney I hired: the first one did not know how to handle a high conflict divorce, but Lily was quick to understand the situation, and fought for me, to achieve the best possible outcome in a bad situation. I was truly afraid of my ex spouse, who could be extremely spiteful, and Lily helped me to feel safe. I appreciated that she did not employ dirty tactics or lies, which the other party did, but was still an able, calm yet fierce advocate for me and for the interests of my children. She knows the laws and the courts very well. I could count on her to give me her honest assessment of the situation and possible/probable scenarios, to fight for me where it made sense to fight, but also to help to bring us to a workable agreement whenever the opportunity arose. She advocated so that I could make choices that I could live with: I wanted to keep my house, and she helped me to do that, even when the other party wanted to force me to sell it. However, she did encourage me to think about all of the options that were available to me before making my decisions. She was kind, patient, and encouraging when I felt that I could not tolerate the stress of the divorce. I just finished with more than a year long divorce "saga". Thanks to Lily, we were able to avoid a trial and the case was settled on quite reasonable terms.
When my now ex- filed for divorce, I interviewed 3 lawyers and did not feel comfortable. A friend of a friend of mine recommended Lily, and after we first met I was quite confident that I can trust her. Step after step after step, thanks to Lily, we were getting into more and more advantageous position.
Lily is a pleasure to deal with; she is easily accessible (you don't need to go through layers of secretaries, assistants to ask a question) , personable, very experienced, has a great intuition and great sense of humor.
Divorce is terrible situation, but if you get a lawyer that you are comfortable with, it makes things much easier.

If you need an attorney, look no further...she is wonderful.... She is a SUPER FAIR mediator. She is is very easy to talk to, and easy to understand. She made the process short and painless. We especially liked the fact that she RETURNED PHONE CALLS PROMPTLY herself, and used email, keeping us advised all along. Very thorough with her paperwork. Not a big LEGAL EAGLE office, just private, small and professional . Cost was very reasonable...neither of us regretted using her. Lupo has represented me in several contractual matters, and excels at presenting options clearly and succinctly. She recommends, but she does not command.. While she has dramatic flair personally, professionally she is excellent at finding common ground on sticky points of dispute; given the opportunity she would rather mediate than litigate, which has proven cost effective to me in the past.
