I had an extremely disappointing experience with Morley and Upton. Their communication was virtually nonexistent, and they often wouldn't respond for months on end. Even after my medical treatment was completed a year ago, my case is still open with no clear resolution in sight. I strongly advise looking elsewhere for legal representation.

My case went to trial recently and I am beyond happy with the results. Patrick and Sam represented me in a jury trial and I was ruled in favor for over 10 million dollars. Dr. Zinman is a kind and caring attorney. I wish there were more people like him in this world. Although, he couldn't take my case because I live so far away. Out of the kindness of his heart, he advised me on how to protect myself from the negligent and unscrupulous dentist who ruined my veeners. Dr. Zinman clearly doesn't like it when the community gets taken advantage of. Because he was quick to share his wealth of expert knowledge for free with me and guided me step by step through the process. I have received multiple e-mails from Dr. Zinman, some times just checking in on me and providing answers to all my questions. I am so grateful for him.
I highly recommend Dr. Zinman to everyone, he will go above and beyond for you. Like he did for me. Not only is Dr. Zinman an attorney with 30 years of dental malpractice experience, but he is also a former dentist. Which is why he's so brilliant at what he does. Mr. Zinman was admitted as a PRO HAC VICE on my sig dental malpractice in Virginia, and I subsequently filed non-suit shortly after Mr. Zinman and my attorney released the designation of experts testimony, since they never allowed me to review any of the dental records that the dentist presented, they never deposed any of the former employees that I recommended that had significant information, nor did they explain how they arrived at their decision which was contrary to my deposition as well as my excellent dental expert's opinion (specialist in Prosthodontics).. Specifically, the dentist who also has a law degree destroyed my entire oral health in 10 years time, in which he impulsively extracted of all of my 2nd molars without x-rays and informed consent, which also resulted in significant bone loss to my lower jaw area; however, the dentist never acknowledged the bone loss. During the 10 years of treatment, I did not have an ability to chew my foods from 2003 until my Board-Certified Prosthodontist restored my oral health in June 2013. This dentist extracted a total of 9 teeth w/o x-rays and informed consent: #29, #13, #10, # 5, #17, #20, #30, #31, and #15. The dentist also deliberately w/h my first 3 treatments beginning 8-28-02, 9-18-02, 10-2-02, for litigation purposes and fraudulently posted these tx's to my former dentist's record,previously retired. The dentist also usd former dentist's pt inform sheet with my name on it and crossed/o date and egregiously changed my husband's first treatment with him to my former chart and noted recent hx diabetes. This dentist also added add tx's to my former dental chart and then deleted billing record. Although I testified to this, and sent emails requesting a document examiner, my requests were ignored. Thus, the dentist did not present my attorney with all of my treatments and he presented false interrogatories. When the dentist was deposed, Mr. Zinman only asked dentist if he treated me at my former dentist's office, which he falsely testified he had, but that he did not remember the treatment. No further questions were presented by my counsel. The dentist also performed multiple root canals that were faulty unbeknownst to me that caused serious dental infections and bacterial infections resulting in endocarditis and residual heart valve residuals; however, no x-rays were presented in support of the root canals. I had 39 documented return dental trips that I made to this dentist's office for faulty crowns cracking and falling out, but at no time was this ever discussed with him either. In addition, the dentist placed a dollop of glue on my one implant without connecting it and then placed an open margin bridge over it that resulted in add'l inflamm (pus infection), bone loss, and the implant was left in place but no longer functioning as an implant. This dentist also kept me in temporaries from 2-25-06 until 2009, 2010, and as a result all of my teeth had decay on them. As such, he placed crowns over decay and the crowns had over hanging margins, which resulted in add'l bacterial infections. It should also be noted that this dentist only presented 3 x-rays taken in 2003, 2005, but no x-rays taken after crowns placed. Also, this dentist also alleged all of his laboratory receipts were destroyed by sprinkler system and when Mr. Zinman asked him if he attempted to obtain dup's after being notified of my complaint he stated he had not. Although the burden shld have shifted to the dentist, Mr. Zinman bent over backwrds and agred to obtain records for last 2 years; but,, no recds rec'd. Mr. Zinman also assesed me with med induced xerostomia to lessen the damges, which I do not....just the opposite drool all of time and he dismissed 1/2 of my tx's finding 1-30-06 as the date he fell below standard of care despite the fact it was a false date inserted by the dentist. The def also chargd me more than $60 thous, but falsely testified it was $43,000.

Ed Zinman handled my dental malpractice case. His knowledge is excellent. His legal writing is excellent. He's not one for hand-holding or spending a lot of time comforting a client, but as for expertise and advocacy, I can't complain. Zinman is a dentist and an attorney. He's definitely the go-to-guy for dental malpractice.

Mr. Ayers was my attorney for the dissolution of my marriage of almost 20 years in 2010. To say I was one of his more challenging clients is an understatement. During the time he was my council, my now ex-husband was harassing me, stealing my mail, hacking into my email, and utilizing cell phone spyware to gain the upper hand in the out come of the divorce. I was hostile, frustrated, not very savvy with technology, and only heard about 1/3 of the good advice he was giving me. He and his wife exhibited an almost saintly amount of patience with all of my antics. Mr. Ayers did an excellent job on the final dissolution agreement. In fact, my ex-husband was not following through with what he agreed to, I took him to Court, and won. He did a solid job on my divorce and the Judge backed it up! Family Law is the worst of the worst. It takes an experienced, smart attorney to stay the course and do a good job with all the drama flying about. I am now on the other side, have surpassed my kids in the tech department, and am back to the person I should have been. If you are seeking a divorce, it is really important to remember that everyone is at their worst during that time. I am grateful I found Mr. Ayers (although I did not convey this at the time) who was pragmatic, smart, knew the law, and did not partake in all the drama.

Let's just stick to the facts shall we? I was the plaintiff in a contingent medmal case, 1) He didn't file special interrogatories and was sanctioned by the court. 2) Prepped his client for a deposition, that never took place, after 1.5 years. 3) He didn't confer with his client to let him know he would not be opposing the defense's MSJ, which he didn't and was a complete no show at the MSJ hearing, again, did not inform client or court that he was going to abandon the case. 4) Lost my case, because of no opposition, no evidence offered. IMO this lawyer did not represent his client to the best of his abilities. 5) Refuses to return phone calls and stick to phone call appointments. 6) No communication for months, especially the last 2+ months of the case when 0 phone conversations were held. Client had to find out about the case by reading about it in the court's docket. 7) He enjoys belittling and condescending his client and gives the impression that you are wasting his time by wanting to talk about your case. 8) Reminds you multiple times that your case doesn't bring in a great deal of money (medmal cap in California) and isn't something he normally does, making you feel insignificant. 9) After a month, still refuses to forward the case file to myself. 10) For a different case in his past, he was sued for malpractice and settled out of court. (lawyer's name, amount and case # withheld for privacy) I wish I would've known what type of lawyer he really is. I have to live with his neglect, malpractice and lack of representation for the rest of my life.

A truck driven by a female driver (while she was doing her nails while driving) ran into our car, spun around and hit us again. I received an injury in the location of the C6 and C7 in my neck. The attorney we had, totally mishandled the case. We were two days from losing our case, because our attorney did nothing. I contacted Gordon Phillips and in two days he turned the entire case around and we won. He has helped our extended family members for over 35 years when small situations arise that we needed his advice. He is brilliant, effective, charismatic in his negotiations, never rude or condescending like some attorney's. He really cares about you, your welfare and your case. He is very protective of his clients and stays on top of everything. The small details are what are often missed in contracts and litigation, that is just one of the reasons he is so effective and amazing. The most important thing, he wins cases because he is totally prepared, has great respect for his clients and takes care of the small details. I believe that Gordon is very thoughtful and firm in his beliefs in what is right and wrong. I appreciate that he and his staff are available after hours and even on the weekends.
Gordon and his staff kept me informed throughout the development of my case.
I was specially impressed with Gordon's preparation at mediation. Gordon walked in with poster board exhibits and I believe that this technique truly helped settle my case at the value it settled for.
I think that above everything else, Gordon strongly believes in what's right and wrong, which is a characteristic that not too many people have anymore.

Friendly informative customer service. My lawyer's case worker made me feel very comfortable during my long total loss process. While i was CAR LESS . My case was very difficult since the other person did not admit she ran the red light! But my Attorney fought long and hard and even though it took some time i was always kept in the loop which was perfect for me since my work hours didnt allow me to call during the day for status updates. Ms. Rubio always spoke to me after office hours. She always took my call when i called her cell phone. Now i got a new car and im happy. i will gladly recommend this office. Over all im very happy with my new car and hope you are too.

This lawyer took on my case and was waiting for documents from the hospital and life insurance policy. Never communicated with me about anything. I called their office about 10-12 times and are always told I will get a call back that day. Well it’s been 3 months and not one of my calls have been returned.

I contacted Mr. Serrano in regards to a possible medical malpractice case. He was very responsive and attentive to the specific details. He stated there was an issue with this statute of limitations which he felt had most likely run out. He also gave me referral to another attorney for a second opinion which I appreciated. After some time of reflection, I had some additional questions, and left a message with his front desk for a return phone call. This was last week. I never heard from him. Today, I received a denial letter. It would have taken him less than five minutes to answer my questions. Part of being a professional AV Preeminent attorney is returning your phone calls, I believe.

Hired this attorney to represent my girls who were the cheerleaders in accident with Murrieta Mayor Alan Long. The girls were deposed and many questions that had to be filled out. We were told by Mr Serrano that Alan Long would be having to do same! We were informed only days prior for a mediation which was more of a bullying pressure tactic! I was told Alan Long was destitute that he owns nothing that he is upside down and is in bad financial shape! I later find out this not to be true and found out that Mr Serrano NEVER DEPOSED Alan Long! Mr Serrano states that I pushed for settlement which is a total fabrication! I have the messages that state I was not going that it was last minute and being pressured when I did not have enough information to make an informed decision! I also have Mr Serrano on recording stating my girls would not be charged for this meeting and when at this meeting the arbitrator said that was not true! So there is no trust and it is my belief he did not represent the girls best interest it was a fast buck and we are filing complaints with the bar association!

We recently experienced the loss of our mother. So naturally it’s was a lot of emotions and chaos in our life at that time, but still something about the way she passed away didn’t sit well with us. If you ever have had the opportunity to have received legal guidance from Mr. Bruce Bunch, consider yourself fortunate and privileged-- attorneys like Mr. Bunch are so rare, he is a true testament to the legal field in that he has years of legal experience handling and winning complex lawsuits, wisdom and intelligence of the highest caliber, kindness, integrity, a resilient and incredibly strong work ethic (he will give you and your case all the attention it deserves), and just as importantly, empathy. The legal field is lucky to have him.
Mr. Bunch encompasses all of these important human traits and sincerely cares and works incredibly hard to bring justice to your case. As much as he is an expert and competent attorney, he is an incredible human being that anyone would be privileged to know..
Long story short, I lost my mother in the span of a month--upon diagnosis, treatment, to the point she had passed away in the hospital.
Needless to say, we were all in shock, grieved, heartbroken-- our world turned upside down and we had never felt so shaken to our core.
My family thought something had gone amiss with her primary doctor for this type of situation to happen. On behalf of my father's wishes, we sought a medical malpractice lawsuit, not for financial gain, but rather for justice and emotional healing for we sincerely believed the primary doctor was negligent for my mother to have this type of outcome.
I found out that medical malpractice lawsuits are a very contested field.. it is extremely difficult to find an attorney who would even give you a second of their time.. I know this because I've tried and had reached out to dozens (tearfully and desperately) before finding Mr. Bunch.
Mr. Bunch brought a human element along with his legal expertise to our case. He was compassionate, thorough, an expert, and transparent.
He made sure that I understood what types of documents were necessary and why. He made sure that I knew he was available to speak at any time. He gave his utmost sympathy to me and my family which helped us tremendously since we were still all so grieved, shocked and heartbroken for my mother having passed away.
Upon sending the mountains of documents to Mr. Bunch, He gave the documents all the time it deserved to scrutinize all the tiniest bit of detail and information in order to bring a strong case. These were literally stacks and stacks of documents that he expertly studied and parsed through the text page by page.
Not all legal cases will be successful.. especially in the area of medical malpractice which is extremely difficult in itself. Not all cases will move forward..not all cases will be won.
But if you are lucky to have Mr. Bruce Bunch, you can have the confidence and peace of mind that your case has the best possible shot of moving forward and winning, that having him involved has already given you a leverage and an advantage, that there is incredible intelligence and human energy and compassion being given to your case-- that in itself is victory.
