Two years ago I was seriously rear ended on the freeway and my neck and shoulder took the majority of impact. After the accident I sought out legal counsel with 3 attorneys. And I will be honest, I was originally apprehensive to file a claim using an attorney. I did not want to get into a situation where my attorney would exaggerate my condition and accident just to get more money. I like to consider myself an honest person and I couldn't live with myself if I got strung into something that made me feel dishonest after. I needed medical treatments, I deserved compensation, but I was scared bringing in an attorney would snowball and get out of control. After discussing my car accident with the 3 different attorneys only one made me feel comfortable, Shahbaz.
Shahbaz and his talented paralegal Amanda became my legal dream team. I was never once pressured to do anything I did not feel comfortable doing. They listened to me, they understood what it was that I was looking for and they delivered. Any time I had questions or wanted an update they would respond within 24 hours by text, email or phone call. Insurance cases are known to move slowly and seem to take forever, so even if the update was that there was no update I appreciated not having to wait to get the response.
Considering I initially went into this claim with no major expectations of getting more than my medical bills covered and maybe a little for the trouble, Shahbaz was able to get the policy limit of the man who hit me and we settled for $50,000. It is no secret that in the current world we live in insurance companies are paying out less and less or simply refuse to pay. Shahbaz fought hard against the insurance company and got me what I never could have done alone.

As a professional engineer in private practice, educator, consultant, and subject matter expert in safety and risk management since 1972, I’ve had an opportunity to provide technical assistance and expert opinions to more than 1,200 lawyers, ranging from sole-practitioners to major national law firms. I only mention this because I believe that few clients know what qualities (beside fees) are truly important when selecting an attorney.
I have almost four decades experience working with attorneys. Personally, I rely on my lifetime learning experience gained while providing administrative law and expert witnessing services when offering my opinions to others looking for an attorney (and on that rare occasion when I need to lawyer). That is, any lawyer (not just the law firm itself) I would recommend or hire must be a good listener, have an excellent professional standing within the legal community, attorneys who love the work more than themselves, and one who will carefully prepare the pleadings, promptly complete discovery, and put the case at issue without needing the court’s probing – then an attorney who wants to get your case in front of the Trier-of-fact and then (utmost importance) be prepared for trail with trial and exhibit binders as well as know the evidence needed to present your case and effectively cross-examine your adversary.

Very few attorneys listen and understand. Mr. Gonter is one of them. He will listen to you as a person, then make a knowledgeable decision on how to proceed in your best interests, explaining the process along the way. Mr. Gonter did an excellent job representing our corporation and was understanding of our concerns.
Most importantly, he's well respected by fellow attorneys and judges. His stellar reputation and intelligent approach leads to favorable results.
I used to be impressed by descriptions like "aggressive" and theatrical attorneys whose shot gun style ends up more noise than result. But after seeing Mr. Gonter in action, I was convinced his professional and respectful approach separates him from the cookie cutter attorneys in our area. Lots of attorneys will say they "will do this" and "do that" for you, the difference is Mr. Gonter actually DOES whats right and what works. I'm very satisfied as a client.

From the get go, Mr. Bernard put my case, and my best interests first before all else. Shane from the very beginning was very upfront, and never blindsided me throughout my lengthy court case. I made a mistake when I was 18, and was charged with a felony. I got a collections letter from a company I've never heard of and they wouldn't work with me no matter what I did. I looked through this website for a lawyer in my area and saw Eric Sapir so I gave him a call. He didn't charge me much and he got them to get rid of the collections and also got me a small settlement from them which ended up paying for my legal fees anyhow. I'm very happy. He's also a really nice guy, he Js very hard and does an excellent job. I haven't had good experiences in the past with attorneys but I can honestly say this was the best experience.

I got into a disagreement with a major bank. I found Mr. Sapir and contacted him for help. He walked me through the process and was very aggressive in fighting for me, which I really appreciated. Kay Jafari is one of the most honest and trustworthy men I have ever had the privilege of doing business with. I was drawn into civil litigation, because of the actions of an ex-wife. Although I had no personal knowledge of her actions, her conduct resulted in civil action against me, by a private company, and the threat of civil action, by the US Attorney's Office. Dean took on my challenging personal injury case after four other 'highly rated' attorneys declined to represent me. He acknowledged that it would not be easy yet, he was willing to fight for me against the odds. He cared about me as a person, not merely as a client. I felt vindicated when his tireless efforts and ingenious presentation of our supporting evidence (ironically, the same 'evidence' the police reviewed and retained on file to support their own erroneous conclusions) ultimately convinced the heavyweight opposing counsel to relent and settle. Antony has represented me for the past two years in several matters including: employment matters, regaining my license after losing my license from too many tickets and he was able to get my full (non-restricted) driving privileges back. I was told it was impossible by everyone, but he found a way to get me an emergency meeting and we wrote out a declaration and went fully prepared and the DMV liaison was impressed that he gave me my full unrestricted driving privileges back!
He went above and beyond and helped me lock in an interview at my dream job which ended up hiring me. He has taken on several roles and not the typical attorney I have dealt with in the past.
