I hired Arellanez Legal to represent me after I was hit by a tractor-trailer coming home from Las Vegas to San Bernardino. I contacted multiple law firms but eventually chose Arellanez Legal and I'm very happy that I did. Michael and his staff are very friendly and took very good care of my case. Michael and his staff made sure that I finished treatment and kept me updated regarding the offers from the insurance company. Michael mediated the case and got me a great settlement. I was involved in a car accident in Modesto, California. It was a very scary accident for me because I was seven months pregnant at the time and was taken by ambulance to the local hospital. I contacted Arellanez Legal a few days after the accident because the law firm was recommended to me by a friend. My case was handled by Michael Arellanez who is very professional and makes you feel like family. The insurance company claimed their driver was not at fault. This greatly upset me because I was rear ended at a stop light. I could not believe an insurance company would claim I was not injured. Michael explained that the case would need to be mediated. I had never been involved in a mediation and I was unsure what to expect. Michael was very professional and helped me resolve my case at mediation. I was very happy with the results and would highly recommend Arellanez Legal. Michael does a good job at explaining how cases are resolved.

A few years ago, I suffered a broken arm from a slip and fall accident. At first, I tried to work with the insurance company myself to get my medical bills covered. Needless to say insurance companies did not want to compensate me for the medical bills. When the insurance company started downplaying my injury I reached out to multiple large firms in the LA area. I could hardly get one to return my call. I was ultimately referred to Mr. Arellanez by a personal friend, and I am so happy and thankful that I made that decision. I received the best service from him and his firm. They worked efficiently, always returned my phone call, and I was very please with the results they got me. Fast forward to 2020, when I unexpectedly ended up in the middle of a contract/real estate civil action, I cannot stress to you how extremely stressful, and emotional this situation was, however, I reached out to Mr. Arellanez once again, and asked if he could help me. Mr. Arellanez handled everything in regards to my second case like a true professional. I was very happy with the result and very relieved that it concluded in a relatively short amount of time. I have a rather complex disability case. So I have been working in my profession for about seven years and, for the last year, I have had to miss about 8 months of work for some inexplicable reason. After being told I was insane by doctors,and declining neurologically for a year, I realized something was terribly wrong. Finally I was diagnosed with a herniated disc in my cervical spine, and scoliosis with 2 curves in it. As it were, it seems that my herniated disc might have been going untreated for almost a year. At my age, I am informed that I am too young to have these problems. Anyways, Mr. Shaffman took this case as a long term disability matter and he is on top of it. His initial consultation was complimentary and was an entire hour. Excellent interaction, and he was very nice. The next time I called him, we talked for nearly another hour and exchanged pleasantries, and then we sealed the deal. After I began to email him, he gave me a very long, and obviously substantive response. It looked well-crafted. As I reiterate the sentiment of a prior reviewer who stated she had never interacted with a paralegal, I am glad to report that my experience has been the same; I have interfaced with him alone. Having this much experience and having a spotless record with Cal Bar makes me even more confident this was the best decision I could have made for my family. Seriously good.

BEST ATTORNEY EVER! HE KNOWS THE LAW WELL!
After consulting with several different attorneys regarding my long-term disability / retirement case, I came across Scott Shaffman. Mr. Shaffman is not only detailed oriented, but is extremely knowledgeable in his area of practice. Several things set this attorney above others.
First, he deals one-on-one with his clients. There is no paralegal that prepares paperwork. He does it himself. One of the many benefits of this is an attorney who is extremely familiar with the case through first hand knowledge. I appreciated this. The other attorneys I consulted with before I hired Mr. Shaffman all had paralegals.
Second, he knows the law when it comes to these types of cases and is unsurpassed with his overall knowledge and how-to. It's amazing and fascinating how he operates. He always was pulling up case law and shaping my case for the best chances to be successful.
Third, his response time is amazing. Most times he answered the phone when I called. If not, he called back almost always within hours. What attorneys do this? Impressive!
Fourth, he was always on top of my case. It never sat in a corner. Regular communication and updates occurred. This was important to me and I always knew the latest happenings of my case. This made for a trustworthy relationship.
In closing, I highly suggest this attorney. He undoubtedly ranks at the top of the list.

I had contacted The Beliz Law Firm as I was in need of legal counsel. In my line of work, I deal with attorneys with regularity. Dealing with Michael Beliz was refreshing as he didn't have the arrogance or "know it all" attitude I have been accustomed to when dealing with attorneys.
While extremely knowledgeable on the subject matter, Michael talked with me instead of trying to talk over me. He didn't attempt to use any of the latest "buzz" words in our conversation but instead talked to me in a very service oriented way. He took the time to listen to me and he responded in a sincere, straightforward way while detailing my possible options and explaining the possible outcomes. What I truly enjoy about Attorney Michael Beliz is the fact that he has excellent work ethics, and will answer any questions you have over legal matters with great expertise and in terms his client will understand. He knows how to have a professional connection with his clients and keep them up to date in everything that is going on in their case. Although my case lasted over 3 years, working with Mike couldn't have been easier. Being in pain can make you crazy, but Mike understood and helped me through to the end when most would have quit. He always answered my calls (no matter what hour of the day or night) and had a calming manner about him. He was very knowledgeable with all my family members questions and always kept me informed. I interviewed two lawyers after fracturing my shoulder to help determine if I should pursue a personal injury claim. Professional, kind and reassuring was CB Hallen who took the case. We met at his office, a beautiful location in Cardiff, and signed off to proceed. The initial value Brad provided was a formal letter detailing what to expect during the process, and the timelines. Brad will also accomodate virtual meetings, conveniently alleviating the commute to his office - although my preference was to interact directly. The process is long with elements of vulnerability, however Brad always remained available to answer questions. He exudes patience, kindness, diligence, and is extremely knowledgeable in his field of expertise. This is very reassuring to those unfamiliar with the law surrounding personal injury issues. The case settled with a favorable outcome. I felt so grateful we persevered and definitely cherish having had the opportunity to work with CB Hallen. I was involved in a serious auto accident where the other driver was at fault. When I tried to handle the claim on my own, the other driver's insurance started playing games with me.

I got rear ended as I was sitting at a red light by someone who fell asleep behind the wheel. It was my first accident and I was pretty rattled. Since the accident wasn't my fault, my attorney, Lance Rupp was able to get me treated and I was compensated as well. It is really important to document everything if you are in an accident and definitely use an attorney. I would definitely use this law firm again.

Spencer Pahlke of Walkup, Melodia, Kelly & Shchoenbeger is the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be.
It is as simple as that. Do yourself a favor and hand all of the legal stuff to Spencer. Don't worry about anything he or his excellent staff does. I guarantee you he will make the best out of any rough situation both legally and financially.
Spencer is trustworthy. Even someone else with a bad previous lawyer experience (For example another person who had to decide between their two parents as a child and lost half their family because of another unfortunate past lawyer experience) could trust Spencer.
Lastly, if you are not lucky enough to get Spencer, I am pretty sure you will also be in good hands with one of his other legal colleagues at the Walkup firm. Although I do not have any direct experience with the other lawyers there, I think Spencer (being a partner at the firm) prefers to work with good people and an excellent staff.

I felt compelled to write this review! I want anyone in the state of California looking for an injury lawyer to be so BLESSED to have this firm stand behind them! I urge you to stop looking. You're going to waste your time anywhere else. Sure, everybody says that in reviews when they are happy with a company. I'm not just happy. I feel like I had my own family fighting for me and they wanted my suffering to stop. Most firms and lawyers are a bunch of hot air and lots of ego!! Let's face it. But when you have a lawyer go above and beyond to make you feel cared about and like you are family, then you want only the same for others. Mr. Sherwin Arzani was more than my lawyer, he was on my side and wasn't settling no matter what. I never felt rushed and I could tell he genuinely cared about me from his hard work, phone calls and keeping me completely informed of everything going on.
I was in a very severe accident. A man on his phone, driving towards a backed up off ramp, did not stop and was going 60+ mph blindly hit me from behind without breaks!! I was at a complete standstill. He did not care to help me and took off from the scene. I tried having friends and family talk to the insurance company and saw extremely quickly that I needed an attorney. They wouldn't give me information like what my benefits were. So I looked up Citywide Law and that was the start of my road to recovery.
From the day I called, I felt nothing but compassion and understanding from the entire office. I had to wait 2 days to call them as the whiplash locked my jaw shut!! They took the frustration and headache of dealing with the insurance company off my hands that day, right then and there. I knew without a shadow of a doubt they could be trusted to take this on for me. Their kindness, as well as, professionalism are OUTSTANDING!!
I had to immediately begin seeing doctors. They made all my appointments. I was thoroughly taken care of by their professionals. As I was not getting better with the treatments, I was sent out for further testing. We found I have lifelong permanent injuries. Mr. Arzani called me to discuss what to do and he was clear, thorough, and professional. From the news of my injuries I was very saddened that I will have this for the rest of my life. We were on the phone and he listened to me express my pain. Not just physical pain but the suffering that has come from this man stealing my life from me.....I can handle pain. I can handle suffering, but when you can't play with your kids anymore like you could before you feel a huge sense of loss and he was very supportive. Yes!!!! We hired Ms. Solario to support execution of our trust and to deal with disgruntled beneficiaries. Initially she suggested that we might not need an attorney. However, once we realized that some of the beneficiaries might challenge our execution of the trust, we felt it appropriate to hire an attorney. The trustees were in different states. But this was not an issue as she was more than willing to work via conferences calls, E-mail, and snail mail. She provided expert advice during initial establishment of the trust, providing guidance and interpretations of the trust document, helping us establish trust accounts, and ensuring that we complied with legal requirements. She provided sage advice during a real estate sale. Once we realized that the beneficiaries were going to contest provisions of the trust, she acted as the single point of contact so we didn’t have to field calls from them. When beneficiaries retained their own attorney, she didn’t back down at all. She convinced their attorney that he had no case and the beneficiaries and their attorney ultimately opted to not pursue the challenge further. We are very pleased with Ms. Solario’s legal support—we don’t know what we would have done without her.

Approximately two years ago I was rear-ended in an auto accident. I had never been in this type situation hence, inexperienced on what to do...At a family function a family member mentioned Mr. Ochoa and highly recommended him. Subsequently, I engaged Mr. Ochoa to represent me with my claim. Over a span of the past two years, Mr. Ochoa was diligent, detailed, persistent and "spot on" in bringing our case to resolution.
