My wife had a stroke and I was in dire need to speak with a legal consultant to get some direction on what type of steps to take next. Danica spent the time needed to help me understand the difference between recoverable vs. non-recoverable damages and details about the litigation process. This really helped put my mind at ease because I did not have a starting point. In the end, she provided a recommendation to consult with a law firm who specializes in my type of use case. I simply do not have words adequate, kind, and appreciative enough to capture how grateful I am for Jamie Keeton and her entire legal team at Schlichter and Shonack, including the wonderful Kevin Wheeler, Jamie Fountain, and Kellie Baker. I found Ms. Keeton through my employer legal insurance plan and her entire legal team helped me when I was so desperate for help in a legal situation when the opposing party was trying to abuse the legal system to harass, intimidate, and financially harm my family. I spoke to Ms. Keeton in my moments of utter desperation after numerous phone calls with other attorneys and from the moment I spoke with her, I knew that she was brilliant, articulate, fearless, yet kind and personable. She gave me her phone number and told me I could reach out to her any time which was particularly comforting. I waited what seemed to be a very long weekend, hoping and praying that she would take my case, and when she did, I knew there was no greater advocate I could have in my corner. Kevin Wheeler was my point of contact and he advocated tirelessly for me. His words were always so patient, kind, and comforting. Being a type-A professional myself, I far too often did way too much legal research instead of leaving that up to my attorneys and then would email Kevin probably the silliest of questions in my moments of weakness and unease but he would just politely, patiently, and kindly answer my questions and always put me at ease. By the end of the ordeal, I trusted them so much that I stopped reading the opposing party's papers, stopped doing legal research, and just focused on my every day life, knowing well that my attorneys would blow them out of the water with whatever response they were preparing. This was probably the best part of having them represent me because being able to disinvolve myself from something that is particularly emotional is totally against my personality and it can be particularly destructive, especially since the whole point of hiring an attorney is so you can relax. For me, I can really only disinvolve myself if I know I am in good hands, and it only took the reading of one of their legal papers for me to know they've got it totally under control. As a professional myself, it takes a certain amount of skill to be able to handle situations in which people from outside your profession come to your office and present you with data that you know better than they do. Whenever I would be guilty of doing that, Kevin would handle it with such patience and grace, and put me at ease, letting me know they've got it handled. Jamie Fountain was also a gem. She worked tirelessly on the legal research of my case and spent so many hours on the preparation of the legal documents. Every time I would read the legal documents, I would be shocked as to how she and every one else could prepare such persuasive, brilliant arguments with so much legal precedents behind those arguments, with such tremendous efficiency as reflected in their billed hours. For Kevin Wheeler , Jamie Fountain and Kellie Baker, who are still relatively young in their career, to have such talent, I can only imagine the bright future ahead of them. It was no surprise that the entire unpleasant ordeal ended with a legal victory because of everyone's efforts. I could not be more thankful for the sequence of events that led me to Jamie Keeton of the Firm Schlichter and Shonack. While certainly there are no guarantees in any legal situation, I can guarantee that based on my experience, Jamie Keeton and her legal team, will tirelessly advocate for you in a way that is fearless, diligent, persuasive, efficient, kind, and honest. I would highly recommend John to anyone injured in an auto accident as I was. From the very first contact I knew I was with the right firm. It was a very difficult situation, as I could not retain an attorney, as the amount involved was too small. The landlords of the home I had rented for 4 years put the house on the market while I was still living there. I endured 2 invasive open houses where I was asked to vacate the premised as well as required to make the home presentable. When the home entered escrow, construction to shore up the foundation ensued. The foundation work required a crew of 4 to crawl under the one story cabin to dig out dirt. They started at 7:00 in the morning. I caught one of the laborer looking up from a hole in the floor in my bathroom, feces were left in my backyard as well as a pervasive urine smell. This went on for 3 weeks. The landlord did not reduce my rent or compensate me for this disturbance or my time. Nor did they intend to pay relocation costs when the house was sold and I was evicted. Mr. Fraser was able to secure $5,000 relocation fees and free rent for my last harrowing month in the home as well as full refund of my rent deposit and a little extra for my pain and suffering. This allowed me the means to relocate without further stress.

I highly recommend the Law office of Daniel Trippiedi & partner, Ron Millsap. He helped me to get a permanent restraining order and to stop an attempted support modification. The deadbeat dad had not payed support in full and kept trying to get around it every couple of years for 12 years. Ron shut him down. Ron was dedicated, persistent, informative & supportive. He argued points in court that other attorneys had not brought up in prior court appearances. He argued so the juge heard my concerns with the restraining order and child support. He was tough when that was needed on the other party but also showed compassion to bring the best results from my son and I. It is rare these days to find a professional so dedicated to doing the absolute best job he can do for his clients.

Emily is an Amazing Criminal Defense attorney! Emily will see through all lies and deception. Emily's closing arguments are incomparable to any other attorney. Emily is the ONLY attorney I've ever seen make a DA mad, because Emily's knowledge and comprehension is way above that DA here in San Joaquin. Remind you she did nothing insulting or rude. Emily is completely fair across the board and will not sugar coat things for you. She has told me im wrong for doing certain things but corrected me and gave me advice rather then shunning me. Pricing? abnormally cheap for an attorney. I cannot explain how good she is with out talking about my case. If you're interested in results look up " CR - 2022 5346 " But to sum things up. She beat a case that would normally be seen as unbeatable. I have given her business card to multiple of my friends. We will be contacting her again soon to help my friend gain citizenship.

I would strongly endorse Patrick R. Campbell for being a legal advisor, counselor or attorney for business related legal issues. In my case, a business legal issue involving litigation that involved myself and another family member, I needed an attorney who was in the business of performance not taking retainers and billing.. I went through 6 attorneys for a specific legal matter including Patrick who out performed all of them. Do yourself a favor and call Patrick - he is not stand-offish, and has no hubris; holier than thou attitude that one may or may not come across with varied attorneys. I would also add that Mr. Campbell provides quality legal services, which I have found is rare in the Bay Area. By quality I mean he takes quality time in seeing legal matters through. He returns phone calls. He returns emails - - promptly. Not days or weeks. Patrick also spoke to me with respect and a great degree of graciousness. Rare characteristic to find in an attorney. I had an ex-girlfriend who was stalking me and making my life miserable. One day, she was banging on my door for hours. When I tried to leave, she chased me in her car and ended up rear ending me. I got out of my car and was trying to pull her keys out of her ignition and some witnesses saw that and called the police. They arrested me for felony domestic violence. I hired attorney Joel Hoffman and he immediately called the court and had it reduced to a misdemeanor. At the hearing, he was able to have the charges further reduced to misdemeanor trespass with minimal fines and no jail time which I was very happy to accept, considering what it could have been. This was a very stressful time for me since I had never been arrested before in my life but Mr. Hoffman really helped me through the whole nerve racking process. Living on the Central Coast a home rental deposit is much more than a drop in the bucket. As I have always left homes in better condition than when I moved in- my landlord's illegitimate claims in order to retain my deposit came as a complete shock. I called Mr. Kocs he immediately addressed the situation and my full deposit was refunded within a weeks time. Mr. Kocs is efficient, knowledgeable, empathetic and timely. I highly recommend him for his expertise and precision as a lawyer. When the Montebello Unified School District hired the law firm of Jimmy Gutierrez, we were already involved in a pending litigation matter with a general contractor who had a history of suing school districts, for general contract work. As a Board of Education we were not satisfied with the direction the lawsuit was headed under a previous firm, in other words, if we where to lose, our school district could be liable for millions. In a matter of several weeks after retaining Mr. Gutierrez's law firm, as a result of their professional and legal expertise and general contract knowledge, our school district prevailed and ended up winning the case and we saved millions of dollars to the tax-payers. In my 23 years as a member of the board of education, this was a milestone and historic verdict in favor of our school district. While this law suit occurred years ago, many of us still talk about this case as a lesson to be learned from when dealing with difficult general school contractors.

I don’t write a lot of reviews but I was so happy and thankful for the good experience I had working with Ajalat Law and I thought it might help someone else who is looking for a personal injury lawyer. Everything about my experience with Greg Ajalat was awesome!! To begin with he told me he wanted to do some research before agreeing to take my case, because it was a complicated one. I could tell he wasn’t just going to take my money no matter what, and really wanted to be sure it made sense to move forward with my claim. At every step Mr. Ajalat kept me informed about what he was doing, how long it would take, and what possibilities we could expect. When there were several options, he talked me through them and didn’t pressure me at all to choose one or the other, just explained them to me and let me choose. There were no unexpected expenses. Even though my case was complicated and it was hard to predict how much the settlement would be, Mr. Ajalat gave me an estimate, and was able to get me an amount at the top of that range! The whole time I felt like I was talking to a real human being, who cared about my situation, thought carefully about things before making decisions, and genuinely wanted me to have a good experience with his firm.
