To say David Gharakhanian exceeded my wildest expectations as a personal injury lawyer would be a drastic understatement. What he accomplished on my behalf is nothing short of miraculous. My case started out smoothly- the other party involved in my auto accident accepted fault and their insurance company immediately compensated me for my totaled car, so I felt I could handle things on my own. As soon as medical bills came into play, however, it was another story. Although my insurance company had covered the bills up to that point, I had reached my max, there were future treatments to account for, and my insurance company had made it clear via numerous letters that they expected to be reimbursed before I received a penny. Four calls, several emails and zero responses later, I finally decided I needed help. David swooped in and not only got me more than enough money to cover all previous and future medical expenses, he actually convinced MY insurance company to wave their compensatory rights, which is almost unheard of. With that extra money, I was able to get a newer car without having to dig into my own pockets, so I walked away feeling as "restored" to my pre-crash state as possible. I like to think of myself as a non-litigeous person, but trust me, when you're traumatized and hurt after an accident, the last thing you should be doing is chasing down some non-responsive insurance company that is looking out for everyone BUT you. Mr. Kennedys team worked hard on my case like I was a family member. He even showed up at one of my Doctors appointment for support. I was involved in a car accident. Rear ended on the frwy while all other cars had stopped except the two cars behind me. I was hit by someone going at 60 miles and I was at a dead stop. I was pleasently surprised with this attorney. I called Vibhu after being hit in a car accident. He filed all of my paper work very quickly and let me know what was happening and what to expect. The only thing I would note is that a couple of times my call went to voice mail. I'm sure maybe he was just busy, the good part is that my phone calls were usually returned fast. Hmmm, maybe I have little to complain about then.

In 2004, Mr. William Dickerman represented me in my effort to obtain a permanent SRO against a predatory, abusive and physically threatening resident manager who had been stalking and taunting me for more than three years. On my own, I had not been able to get any relief whatsoever from my landlord, housing authorities or law enforcement, despite the severity and persistence of the problem.
In an unusually grueling hearing that went on for more than six hours, Mr. Dickerman successfully proved that I had been subject to extreme and intolerable abuse and was in imminent danger, despite the defense attorney's considerable efforts to prove otherwise.

Jesse has a phenomenal balance of assertiveness and strength along with warmth and approachability (to his clients). He's a real person, and will talk to you like you are too. I had come from a very bad experience of being belittled and ignored with a previous lawyer. I told Jesse that I had some trust issues and was anxious- that I really needed things explained to me. He took time with me before arbitration and assured me that if I didn't feel ready- he would pospone it. He was very compassionate, and never condescending about my lack of knowledge.
I disagreed with him once about an interpretation of my case. What I was most impressed by was his quick response to look into it. Once he did, he came back and agreed with me and fixed the issue immediately. I felt listened to, validated, and cared for. He helped wrap my case up in a few months after my previous lawyer had strung it along for over 2.5 years.
We haven't wrapped up the medical bills yet- but Jesse assured me that he will do everything he can to negotiate those down. I trust that he will.

I was in a contract dispute, and was referred to Kramar by one of his clients whose case he had previously won. I hired Kramar for a breach of contract issue I was having with a business I had hired. Kramar was always honest and never "sugarcoated" the realities of litigation. Kramar had the lien lifted from my home and fortunately, won my case. I hired Matt to represent me in a case involving a school and a fellow student's false accusations against me. Without going into too much detail about the case itself, I can say that Matt was an unexpected blessing. Not only did he immediately want to listen to my side and hear me out, he also realized from our first meeting that this entire situation had devastated me. He was available to talk 24/7, whenever I had a meltdown and needed him. He definitely didn't have to do that, but he seemed to genuinely care about not only my case but my own personal well being.

This guy needs to run for mayor or something. Being a lawyer is beneath him.
When my employer was making my life hell on Earth, I felt so helpless. I had to have called up 10 lawyers. I dealt with so many who didn't talk to me straight.
This guy actually read through my stuff. Frankly his consultation on its own gave me more time than lawyers I hired.
Every other lawyer blew me off and didn't even care to look over my stuff. One even agreed to get me on a phone call, but ended up just flaking even having a consultation - Even *after* I took 30 minutes to fill out a form for him! Yeah! I think I'll be reviewing that guy next!
Now it's time to reward the good guys though.
Frankly I am a chicken dealing with lawyers. I'm not familiar with it. I could probably program the next big thing some day but the law to me is a bunch of wizardry.
I ended up chickening out and not going through with the severance agreement. When I wrote the company lawyers a big letter to them about what I got put through they responded (in substance):
The company disagrees with your points and doesn't want to discuss the matter this time.
Kind of like how I came in at 5 AM to program my companies software. How I stood there and dealt with bullying behavior by people who, in fact, had little clue of the subject at hand were NOT senior. I was programming in the work force programming and only dropped out to do a summer program sponsored by Google. Do they care what I sacrificed for them? I hardly took a day off! Other's went to Hawaii! I stayed weekends!
The manipulativeness of the CEO - after all my sacrifice - he even manipulated the staff to just reject my box I had mailed to me at the office. For a coffee machine I paid by hand for all to use. As if my own *taint* was a scar on the company.
The CEO even bragged to his friend about how, in our performance reviews and private talks, he deliberately tried to push and stress me.
Corporations that act like a parasite at the blood of an honest worker destroy the trust we have in things. The ideals that make labor actually work. What a toxic CEO.

John was able to get the two insurance companies involved in our case to pay the maximum amount for the injuries my wife sustained in the accident she was involved in, where there were two negligent drivers at fault for the accident. He was extremely thoughtful, caring, and thorough in his handling of our case. He was even able to get me a settlement even though I was not involved directly in the accident, but was severely affected by the injuries my wife incurred due to the extenuating circumstances surrounding the accident.
