We had a very difficult adoption situation that required some one who was extremely knowledgeable in adoption law and had years of experience with adoption cases. Mr. Thurman was both of those things. On top of that, he was honest with us and didn't "beat around the bush." He told us what he knew, what he expected and what our course of action should be. He walked us through the entire process and when we went before the State Supreme Court of North Carolina, he represented our case with dignity, respect and confidence. I hired Margie to help me in a mediation process. She was diligent in getting it set up with all the appropriate parties and made sure I had gathered all the documentation to support my side. We meet several times before hand to review the mediation and I felt like I was well prepared and well represented by her. There was lots of communication before and even after to make sure the counter parties where abiding by their promises. The outcome was positive and got what I feel was a fair settlement. Mr. Blaschko handled my Chapter 13 bankruptcy a few years ago. The results were excellent. He was able to use a delay on the trustee's part to get a quite favorable plan approved. I was able to complete my plan successfully. Mr. Blaschko handled the annoying details too, like a creditor who kept making excuses for not providing a lien release even after their claim was paid in full.
Mr. Blaschko does excellent work in business contracts and estate planning as well. I highly recommend his services.

Having someone go the extra mile, when I wasn’t able to, made me feel much better about my involvement and my responsibilities related to a foreclosure matter against a series of large banks I was handling for more than 5 years. Ms. Gaddy’s high standards and attention to detail made the process and result something I can look back on happy that I was involved. Ms. Gaddy took real concern for my situation from the initial consultation forward. She laid out what was needed, cost, possible outcomes, contingency plans and probable outcomes in a clear and concise manner.
I retained Ms. Gaddy late in the process as I was blindsided by a foreclosure hearing on my mother’s home. Ms. Gaddy dropped weekend plans writing answers, motions, and collecting information (all that legal stuff only lawyers know) to halt the proceedings. Her keen knowledge of South Carolina foreclosures and her experience with the complexities of the process were clearly evident as the tables turned after our first court hearing. I can't imagine going through it without Ms. Gaddy.

I called for a consultation with Marlon Bates, ot expecting much. I was having troubles trying to figure out my options and routes needed for adverse possesion/heirship/ect. He gave me 3+ more ideas options than ANY other real estate attorney in Utah! He was extremely thorough during our call, explaining everything and answered ALL of my questions (even though many sounded dumb coming from a young woman in her 20s).
I guarantee this: If I EVER need a real estate attorney, he is the FIRST on my lost.
Honestly, I feel like I owe him $400 just for his free consultation!

Attorney Marlon Bates went above and beyond in advising me and drafting an agreement to modify and modification to easement for my house purchase and I'm 100% sure I would not have been able to go through buying my first house without his help.
This was my first every need for an attorney, so I found Marlon through just the regular online search. After sending inquiry to over half dozen attorneys I found, Marlon was the very first to respond with immediate availability. He spent more than an hour on our consultation call, providing more than I was hoping to learn and get advice on the my easement situation. He left on a family vacation the week after but he was still very responsive to my questions and when I decided to move forward with the house with only left few days till diligence deadline, he was able to provide me with the perfect agreement and easement modification draft that I needed to close on my house with a peace of mind. In addition, he was able to clearly outline the risks and the steps that I needed to know and take to fully implement the contract and the modification.
Buying my first house with easement issues was a very scary decision and I would have never gone through buying this house if it wasn't for the reassuring consultation and the contracts and modification drafts that Marlon provided. I would go through this all over again with his help.
Ultimately, I ended up with a better term on the house and more favorable modifications to the easement than I would have initially accepted on the house.

Suzanne and her team were incredible. I was forced with a unforeseen obstacle when my spouse passed away and I was no longer able to afford our home.
