Jerry Wallentine was my attorney for a reckless driving I had this last year. My first email to his office, I got a response from Jerry himself and within minutes I was on the phone with him and he had a game plan. I did look around comparing attorneys since I wasn’t from that area and by far Jerry was my top pick. Jerry absolutely knew what he was doing and seemed to know people in the right places. We weren’t able to get diversion due to certain things on my end and when my court date came, Jerry was right there with me. My second case with Brett Schlacter was a larger case than my 1st case. I was hurt in a car accident, someone hit me from behind in the express lane on I95. Let’s just say Brett and his team are the best in town,first time I met with Brett I knew he was going to be able to help me thru my case. I was involved in a car accident and had to go thru multiple surgical treatments and was very well informed by Brett and his team on where to go and what to expect.

The story started two years ago on December 2016 when I was doing a red light and a careless driver hit me in the back give me a whiplash and more injuries I didn’t know I had at the moment, this accident cost me cost me headaches and migraines constantly, for the following two years .

My wife & I were taking her car into the Ford Dealer in Issaquah for its 2nd service. It was a 2017 Escape with just less than 5,000 miles on it. As we made a left turn on a green arrow at the intersection near the dealership we were T-boned in the intersection right on the front passenger door where my wife was seated. We never saw or heard anything until we were hit by a women who ran her red light. My wife had it be cut out of the car and was taken Overlake Hospital with cracked rib and severe bruising all along the right side of her body. The car was totaled and it took my wife about 6 months to fully recover.
After working with our insurance company for a month it became clear to us that the other insurance company representing the driver who hit us was not going to settle this to our satisfaction. I began my search for a law firm who I felt comfortable with and decided on Weier Law. We were contacted by Theresa Buchner who became the attorney who represented us. We dealt with many great people in the office who did all the preliminary info gathering for Theresa. This type of claim required a lot of patience as it is a long process to gather all the info needed before we could even begin to settle our claim with the insurance company. Once Theresa started the negotiations it took a while of her going back and forth with the insurance company to even get close to a settlement. We finally had to file a law suit in order to get the insurance company to get serious with their offering to settle our case. Theresa was very persistent with her negotiations and we finally reached a number that we were willing to accept that would adequately compensate us for all of the damage done by the woman who carelessly caused our accident. Hopefully we will never need Theresa Buchner’s services again but I would not hesitate to hire her again or recommend her and Weier Law to any of my friends and family.

Mike Hupy has been an attorney for myself or my family in several issues for over the last decade. When I was hit while driving my motorcycle near his Milwaukee office, his investigator was there ensuring my safety before police arrived, getting photos of the scene, and helping me to move my wrecked bike out of traffic while we waited for the wrecker. Then he took me to my wife, and made sure I got a ride to the hospital for appropriate care. He doesn't go to this extreme for every incident, but it exemplifies the kind of car he gives to see that each and every case gets handled in the best interest of his clients. Alex is a very straightforward and hardworking attorney.
