I was hanging around some people that I shouldn't have been and got caught up in a situation where I was charged with Trafficking drugs. Alex helped me work through the charges and was able to get them dismissed. He also met with me multiple times to just talk about life choices and the roads that they can lead you down. My life was in shambles after being hit head on by a drunk driver. I was stranded without health insurance, a vehicle, or any plan. I had nowhere to turn. Having to get back to work was tough enough, not to mention the stack of medical bills and collection calls were increasing at a rapid rate. First , after going through this workers comp ordeal I would not encourage anyone to try and navigate through that without a Attorney !!! Silberman and Lam got for me exactly what they told me they would ! I really appreciate the service they provided. I would encourage anyone to retain Silberman and Lam if you have a Workers Comp case and allow them to do their work and be patient and sleep well cause its going to be worth it in the end !

I was injured in a bike accident. The driver was sitting in his car and opened his car door on me as I rode by. Ended up at the ER with 6 internal and 6 external stitches in my neck, an inch away from my carotid artery, a sore wrist which a MRI revealed to be a slight tendon tear and abrasions on my knee and hand, plus a sore shoulder. The driver's GEICO insurance tried to refute my claim saying I was 50% at fault for not looking to see if a driver was in the car. The police report said he was in violation since I had the right of way. I initially contacted a larger law firm I saw advertised on TV. They referred me to Braid.
Braid was great. He told me these things might take a while, but to be patient. GEICO initially offered to only pay my medical expenses, then a little later expenses plus $7K. Braid advised me to wait because he was sure he could negotiate more.
Eventually he negotiated a significant settlement, much more than I ever expected. The whole process took 7 months. I highly recommend him.

When you need a really good lawyer in a tough and complex traffic accident situation then I highly recommend Law Offices of Braid Pezzaglia.
Before I chose Braid's office, I had done extensive research about legal firms specializing in motorcycle accidents in the San Jose and SF Bay Area locations. I shortlisted a handful of them and talked to them before I made my final decision. I am glad I chose the Law Offices of Braid Pezzaglia.
Braid is a very sharp, extremely knowledgeable legal professional, can assess tough situations quickly, can call lies in an instant, has kept me sane and the other parties involved accountable. I wouldn't recommend another law firm. Bob stayed in constant contact with me throughout my case. I liked that he responded back to my inquiries right away. When he wasn't available to answer my questions his daughter was very helpful in getting the information I needed. He has a wonderful caring soul. You can tell he cares about the needs of others and works hard for his clients. His supporting staff was very helpful as well. I just loved his whole office.

As I stated earlier, I had been involved in a car accident and John Jahrmarkt and his team were able to get me a monetary settlement I didn't think was possible.
They worked very hard from start to finish. Tyler was assigned to my case and he always kept me in the loop with updates on my case. They assisted with finding an excellent rehab facility for my injuries from the accident.

Wow, not really sure where to start. I thank my lucky stars every day that I was fortunate enough to find John when I needed an attorney. Is he a great lawyer....you betcha! But whats even better is that he's just a great guy! In 2011 I moved I to Los Angeles from Detroit. I was not working, staying with friends, and had no health insurance. I had been in the USA about a year Two weeks after I arrived to LA I was rear ended on the Ventura Freeway by an uninsured motorist from El Salvador. I sustained injuries and approximately $6000 in damage to the car I had had less than a year. The only mileage on it really was from the drive from Detroit to LA. Long story short Michigan is a no-fault state and their insurance laws are a 180 degrees different from California's. AAA my insurer John sued for negotiating in bad faith. Anyways John navigated the two-state difference in law, got me the medical attention I needed, GOT ME LOST WAGES when I wasnt even employed and then got me the MAXIMUM SETTLEMENT allowed under my uninsured motorist coverage. Meanwhile the whole time John kept me in the loop, worked like a pit-bull, took a genuine concern that I was receiving the best medical attention, and sought to get me the best settlement possible. John has the ability to listen, never waffles when asked direct questions, and IS ALWAYS ACCESSIBLE. If there was a way to make it better it eludes me??? I can't stress enough that if you need legal assistance John is your guy!! I'd give him 6 Stars if it was possible!!!!

I contacted Attorney Studley’s office just over 2 years after my car accident (I was not at fault) because I started getting phone calls and letters from the other drivers insurance company. I spoke to Christine on the phone and she was both reassuring and confident that we could reach a reasonable settlement for my case and set up a meeting with Attorney Studley very quickly. Attorney Studley is both knowledgeable and relatable. This was my first time contacting a lawyer for this type of matter and I was nervous and expected to feel intimidate, but that was not the case at all! Mr Smith is by far the BEST lawyer I have dealt with in every aspect of the way. Well I got injured at work it took almost 3 months to get any compensation from the company and I wasn't getting anywhere so I had to call an attorney.I gave the law Brothers a shot I told him my situation and Elias said he can help me with my case. Beck & Beck have been very helpful with dealing with the Tort Victim Compensation Fund after the death of my son. They keep me informed of what's going on with the case and return phone calls in a reasonable time-frame. Have had some mis-steps, (like the lawyer that was supposed to be in Kansas City for the first court date being late) but all in all, I've been happy with their work.
Losing a child is the most painful thing anybody can live through and although I loved him dearly, his death left me with significant debts that he had owed me. Being on SSI, paying the loans I made to him back to the bank continues to be a struggle but I am hopeful that when my case is finally settled, I will be able to at least reduce that financial stress. I lost David on Dec 31, 2020 and still feel like I haven't been able to fully grieve his loss because his debts are still very much alive. Every month I'm reminded of everything I have lost. That may sound cold but I can't think of a better way to explain it.
The vast majority of the insurance (that I was paying for) went to the woman who had filed for divorce more than 2 years prior to his death but it hadn't been finalized and despite her assurances that she'd help with his debts, I haven't received a dime. Meanwhile, she has a great paying job, a new house and had moved on to a new man before he was even killed. Life is not fair, but I am hopeful that with the help of the caring attorneys at Beck & Beck, I will be able to put some of this behind me and eventually move on.
