After paying another attorney from Worcester over $10,000.00 over a period of 8 months to amend my divorce decree and getting nowhere, I hired Jim to handle my case . He was easy to work with , quick on his feet, and expertly negotiated a fair agreement in no time at all . He was just plain fantastic. I would give 10 stars if it were allowed. Cant say enough good things. Wish I had met him the first time!

Jim was willing and capable of negotiating a settlement between myself, my now ex- wife, and her attorney. Jim steered me away from personal actions and communications that may have hurt the chances for a negotiated settlement. My particular situation could have been lucrative for him to litigate as it was complex and there was much discovery that would have accompanied a court battle. However he kept my best interest in mind , avoided litigation, protected my interest as well as possible, and treated my ex - wife with respect. He was bright and really understood the issues which really helped my case. We were able to settle in an very short time compared to stories I have heard from others.
I also believe that negotiation saved both my ex-wife and myself considerable costs. Most importantly it was easier emotionally for the entire family, including our adult children.

I hired Julie Rountree after seven months of frustration and my case not moving forward. Julie and her team stepped in and started from scratch in accomplishing numerous tasks in a short period of time that were never completed by my previous attorney. I hired Julie initially for my divorce, but she has since handled all matters from and relocation dispute and is currently handling my contempt case. She is on the ball and knowledgeable and gives you realistic expectations. She is very compassionate and understanding and a great listener. Jennie was an extremely helpful attorney. I was in a very high conflict child custody case and Jennie did a great job at keeping me calm and helping me focus on the real matter at hand which was my son. Erica was the only one willing to help me. My original lawyer was as worthless as tits on a bore hog. The second one I talked to pretty much never responded to following ups and the third said I didn't have a chance. Erica listened to my situation and didn't make any promises but was willing to help me. She got more done in a couple of months than the others over years. The most important thing to me was that I believe she was genuinely on my side. Wish I would have found her in the first place. It's great not having to pay alimony anymore to someone who hates you and makes a descent income and lives with her boyfriend. Some guys get what they deserve but a lot don't and in this state, men are definitely starting out on the losing side. Thanks to people like Erica, we might stand a chance for a fair hearing.

When my ex-wife petitioned for sole placement, I was terrified that I wouldn’t experience all the joys of being a father – coaching my kid’s baseball team, going camping and fishing. But Erica was there for me. She not only made me feel like I had a right to be with my kids, but she got the court to respect those rights too.
When my ex “didn’t feel” like dropping off the kids for the weekend even though we had agreed that the weekend was my time with them, Erica took my frantic phone call, after 5:00 on a Friday! She got a hold of my ex’s attorney and somehow convinced them to let me see my sons.
I now have 50/50 placement and my two sons and I are going ice-fishing this weekend. I would recommend Erica to any father trying to deal with a difficult ex!

I knew John for more than 5 years by now. He is a great lawyer. My case went from a simple custody case to complicated divorce and relocation case. He was always well prepared and knew how to hand the case. The most thing I liked in dealing with him was being able to predict the court outcomes. He made a road map plan that we followed, and it worked well for us. He knew the plan that my ex-wife's attorney had which made me well prepared to the court.
I believe he knew my ex-wife personality better than I did. Eventually he got me 90% of what he said he would try to get " he never made promises to get me anything, which scared me at first, but now I know he was very honest with all his words". thank you John for the great job

I called Alex’s office for a consultation when I was looking to retain counsel for a paternity suit. I had spoken with other reputable attorneys in town already and I was told by friends to call the Solomon Group. Alex was the lucky one to consult with me. Let me just start by saying, I’m not the easiest to deal with and I was going through some major life issues becoming a single mom with a demanding job and an ex that had been making life difficult. Alex took the time to answer my detailed questions and gave me examples of other cases where similar situations had happened. That showed me they had the experience to deal with my complex case and this wouldn’t be their first time. He did not rush me off the phone and he really took the time to understand my entire situation. I was even advised that I didn’t need to retain them until I was served since I wasn’t married, so that showed me they weren’t just trying to get a retainer out of me. I appreciated that approach as my job is in sales and I do not like to be “sold” something. The consultative approach was very much appreciated and I hired Alex and his group for my case. Alex and Matt were responsive to me throughout the entire case and when it came time for mediation, they were both by my side. I felt I had the best team defending me, my children and my home. This case involved real estate and Alex’s group was experienced enough to be able to handle both the family law and real estate portions.
My case is settled now and although no one ever feels like they “won”, I feel that Alex and Matt helped get me a reasonable outcome and in an efficient amount of time so that I can move on with my life. I can’t thank Alex and Matt enough for their hard work. I would recommend hiring them to anyone in need of a family law attorney.

I thought, oh no, not another newbie or someone that is so aweful that they cant sustain a practice and is working for support collections. Was I ever wrong! She was sharp, articulate and a viper against the stuffed shirt from Saratoga. I hired Chas to handle a case for me after a previous attorney had screwed it up. Chas was willing to trust my view of things, without automatically siding with the previous attorney just because he was an attorney. He was also willing to let my husband handle filing all the documents, analyzing complicated estate accountings, preparing spreadsheets, and providing potential arguments to advance, which saved a ton of money on paralegal work. Chas was open with me, explained everything, and even allowed me to frequently argue with him (he claimed to enjoy it). He's a really nice guy and totally honest. The one thing I'd fault him for is that he isn't good at scheduling. Chas tends to let cases slide a bit till trial time (he loves trials), and then, since three trials had piled up consecutively, he was unable to spend enough time preparing for mine. However, he later hired an assistant and that seemed to help a lot.

Denise (Luz) Negron-Bennett made all the difference to me in the way she handled my divorce case. She answered every question I had along the way, and took the initiative to research relevant case law to put my mind at ease more times than I like to remember. I hired Denise for what should have been a much simpler divorce process, since my husband and I had no children together and the asset division seemed pretty straightforward. Yet when my husband made things difficult, Denise did everything to both counter his -- and his lawyer's -- games, and to protect me proactively re: assets, property access and distribution, anticipating court actions, and strategizing for my case. A warm and caring person by nature, Denise showed great compassion to me during what turned out to be a much more complex legal process than I had expected. She asked the right questions and knew when to stand her ground — even with me when I could not, at times, accept the reality of my own case or the ambiguity of some aspects of PA divorce law. When I had my second DUI, Mr.Martini was very helpful. He got me the lowest penalty. I did no jail time for my second offense but I was on house arrest for 10 days, had to take classes (wasn't too bad), 80 hours community service, and . This was not bad considering the many people I talked to during my community service either had to do some amount of time in jail for a second DUI offense or they had house arrest for 30-60 days, some even had both. I managed not to drink and drive anymore, it's really not worth risking the lives of others besides a lot of money I had to put out.
