I hired Ameet Habib several years ago when I was going through a divorce. Just recently I went through a custody battle with my ex over our teenage children and had Ameet represent me again. I am so thankful I did! He is so knowledgeable. He is honest, direct, yet still compassionate. Going through a custody battle was so emotionally straining, but Ameet was so great during this very stressful time. In court when I was weak he was my strength. Ameet is such an amazing speaker in court and is so great at what he does. I highly recommend him!

I entered in a custody battle, asking for joint legal/physical custody, with no intentions of hiring a lawyer. I was lost, scared, and had no idea of what to do so I met with Mr. Habib for a consult. From the moment I met with him, he was very direct and to the point and I hired him. He never gave me false hope, did not lie, or hide anything. Mr. Habib would advise me of his professional opinion and then ask me what I wanted to do, so he did everything with what I wanted in mind. I am not very good speaking in court and I messed up with my words and he was able to fix my mess up. The GAL was against joint legal/physical custody and its very hard to convince the judge to rule against the GAL and Mr. Habib was able to persuade the judge that what I was asking for was in the best interest of my son. After trial, there was an appeal, before the appeal we were came to an agreement and part of that agreement was to withdrawal the appeal and when the other party did not follow through with their part of the agreement, Mr. Habib withdrew our part of the agreement in order to turn their hand to get them to follow through with their part of the agreement. Mr. Habib is a very intelligent lawyer and is very good at what he does. I would recommend him to anyone that is in need of a custody lawyer. He does everything he says and goes far and beyond to get things done. In the end, I got what I asked for and what my child needed, joint legal/physical custody without either party paying child support. Thank you so much for helping me get through something that means so much and that was so hard and scary.

Mr. Habib is very professional. He will not lie to you, give you false hope or waste your time. Although he is extremely frank, Mr. Habib is Diligent, courteous and Considerate of what one may be going through. He is simply AMAZING! You get what you pay for! I recommend him to any and everyone who needs or wants a Honest and Reliable Family Law Attorney. I would choose him over and over again in the future if I ever needed his services again. Attorney Bernstein has been my families attorney for the last 5 years. She has been amazing and won our trial for us. She was dedicated and worked tirelessly to win SOLE custody when no-one else thought that was possible. She went way above and beyond the call of duty as she took phone calls early in the morning or late at night. She stood by my family and gave advice at ANY TIME it was needed. She did not "nickel and dime" us for these calls and showed genuine care and concern each and every time we spoke with her. Hiring Mingy Bryant Ball to handle my child custody case was the best decision I've ever made . After years of frustrating experiences with other lawyers, she helped me to find a proper custody agreement that I'm very happy with . She was fair, honest and supportive all the way. I was losing custody of my child while battling complicated side effects from a very damaging and abusive relationship and she helped me to put my life back together and stand up for myself in a proper way. We have been out of court now for some time for the first time in years and I owe much to Mingy for helping me see my way through a very dark and confusing time. Honestly, I have went through many experiences with lawyers, and so far only Mingy has worked to my expectations. She answers phone calls, if not she definitely calls you back. Gives great advice and amazing information. She strives to make the best out of your situation. I was sure I wasn't going to win custody of my little girl, according to other lawyers I wouldn't have. My son was arrested on a weekend on a mistaken identity, and Janie's first comment was "I've got this." She went to court on Monday morning, had the warrant and extradition recalled that morning, and worked non-stop to have him released in another state - all two days prior to July 4, with everyone else headed out of town. At the follow-up court hearing, all was dismissed. Janie was incredibly knowledgeable and prepared, which contributed greatly to the speed of handling the case. There are not enough stars for her.

Janie is a truly wonderful attorney. She is smart, strong and will not back down from a challenge. My case was bleak. I was arrested on November 12th 2015 in Oregon on an outstanding warrant for Probation Violation from Chattanooga, TN. I was extradited back to TN. Janie was able to get my court date set on Dec 4th instead of Jan 12. She was in constant communication with my family. She was able to get all charges dismissed and return me to my family. I hired Kevin Kelly In 2011 while I was enlisted in the military, stationed overseas, hadn’t seen my son in person for the better part of 2 years, and I was a single male at the time. Kevin always steered me in the right direction and warned me of all possible outcomes with my case. Family law issues are often challenging and my situation was emotionally one of the most difficult things I’ve ever had to go through. Divorce isn't a fun process, but Charlie Meyer's knowledge and approach to a difficult situation made it a little easier. Unlike other attorneys I consulted, he didn't tell me what I wanted to hear but instead what was a fair and likely outcome (even if it wasn't 100% in my favor). He has a very patient, encouraging, and casual manner that put me at ease. Charlie always got back to me even in my most hysterical moments, often early in the morning, often on weekends. I believe he has a good sense of personalities as well-- understanding how much information a client needs and wants and knowing, too, when to keep some of the unimportant nonsense quiet. Needless to say he has extensive knowledge of the laws in quite a few counties in and outside Philadelphia, and he seems to have a good rapport with lawyers/ masters/ judges in a courtroom setting.
If you're looking for a fair and balanced approach to your case--and for someone to put a lot of fight and effort into getting you what you deserve-- Charlie is a good choice.

Samantha handled my divorce 2 years ago. On top of being an outstanding attorney, she was supportive, understanding, patient, and knew when to push me and when to "wrangle me in". I just want to point out a couple of things regarding Mrs. Pulley. I have a very interesting case going on regarding custody that has had a lot of things happen.
1st of all, if you want someone who’s going to pay attention to you and tell you the truth as long as you’re upfront about your situation, this is the attorney to have. Crystal is very passionate about what she does and definitely does her research. Let me reiterate, she does her RESEARCH. I wasn’t paid to do this. I wasn’t asked to do this. This is just my experience with her as we navigate through my custody case.
2nd of all, any small changes within your case, she’s on top of it and will let you know. Regardless of the outcome of my case, I feel so comfortable dealing with Mrs. Pulley knowing that she’s putting her best foot forward to achieve a good resolution. I would personally highly recommend her for whatever custody issues you may be dealing with.

I am a father of two children. I retained Ms. Pulley because my ex-wife was falsely accusing me of being behind in child support and I was being denied the visitation rights that had been ordered by the court in my divorce decree. I was afraid of pursuing this matter in court because I feel that sometimes the courts may look upon the mother more favorably than the father. However, Crystal worked extremely hard on my case. I give Mr. McDowell a 10 star rating. 5 is not anywhere near enough stars. He is professional and I have hired him twice now for custody issues against the same father. I have walked into court confident every single time with Mr. McDowell and he ALWAYS wins my case. You cant believe all ratings that you see posted here. Mr Ray Neighbors, for instance, he is a troll. No offense to him, but do your research. He seems to really hit hard on the legal system and judges. I saw his rating and it infuriated me. Patricia (Patti) LaFrance esq. Is an amazing attorney. She did a very nice job laying out exactly what my expectations should be during my divorce. She quickly ascertained the nature of my case and the unique challenges that I was left to deal with. She is particularly well versed and known for her advocacy in domestic violence cases. Patricia was hired to assist in appealing a denied claim filed with our insurance carrier for a large employee theft that occurred at my company. I am a retired military veteran. I met Jessica Martin over 4 years ago and asked her for representation concerning my divorce. I forewarned her this was not going to be so easy, given the fact that it was a 26.5-year military marriage. To my surprise, she is a military spouse. However, once the owner of the company found out I moved out of that state, he would not mail me the check from the sale. I called and spoke with him six times, each time he made excuses. I called Jessica and explained the situation. I personally did not believe given the situation I was ever going to receive my money. To my surprise, one month later, a check with the entire amount was in my mailbox.

There arent enough words to express how much of an AMAZING Attorney Michael is. He sets the bar on the level of communication he has with his clients. He takes so much pride in his ability to fight for his client, that he studies each and every word in your case. There were details he remembered that I had informed him of, and as I thought I was notifying him for the first time, he finished my update all on his own, remembering every little detail, as if it happened directly to him. I forgot I had already relayed the update, but I cant even begin to describe the overwhelming feeling of comfort to know Michael was not just my attorney, he was someone who genuinely cared about me and my kids. We went to our hearing, Michael all prepared and excited to represent me, evidence and notes in one hand and confidence in the other.
