During 2011-2013 John helped me with the process to change my Visa Status. The school I was enrolled in committed several mistakes leading the change of visa from a J1 to an F1 that eventually the Visa was denied and the case was cancelled in two different occasions. John finally took care of the process and later on had to intervened with the school to avoid having me paying the fees that the USCIS required in order to re-open my case. After waiting for a long time I did get my Visa. John charged me a fee that took in consideration my financial situation.

She is an extremely talented attorney, I was blessed to have found her and her firm. My court case is still ongoing but our first day in court she kept opposing counsel on his back foot. So much so that after constantly being objected to and having every one be sustained when the time came one was not he carried on as of it was. Truly amazing! She is well prepared in court, she came with everything needed digitally and hard copies in case the judge wanted paper in hand or there happened to be some technical hiccup. She concentrated on what was important to the case now and what could wait for later. So far I've been able to get what I've asked for and managed to keep custody of my 4 children, which were most important to me. Kerry Anne had a clear and definite plan during a brief consult two months ago. You can hear on the phone that has a logical train of thought and uses clear English and projects her voice well.
This involved family court OFP. I think she would work very fast and determined with respect to her work and practice in family law.
Although, she was hesitant when I mentioned include extra assistance in the form of a private investigator (Behavioral Intelligence Agent) she did concede that she would be open to consulting at her hourly rate as an intermediary advisor outside of court.

Ms. Cumbo helped my fiance' at the time undo and conclude what turned out to be a very expensive and impulsive mistake, prior to us meeting. She was our third attorney, and we had a horrible experience with the first, who ended up having his first filing rejected by the court. This attorney proceeded, without consultation, sent the divorce case upstate to Eerie county (we are in NYC). We consulted/hired a second attorney who recommended he keep his case there in the hopes that there could be a shorter processing time.
We had consulted with other attorneys in the Buffalo area, all charged us for consultation as well as providing exhorbant fees for helping us file basic paperwork for an uncontested divorce. We felt these attorneys were trying to get a deal, another one clearly tried to scam us (increasing her fee due to "new extra court costs"). We feared and braced for the worst - that we would have to end up hiring another irresponsible attorney, who would create further delays like the first.
Due to personal matters related to my partner, it was also imperitive that the divorce be finalized, we were running out time.
We felt immense reflief when we contacted Ms. Cumbo, however. She was responsive, did not charge consultation fee, heard our case and provided a very reasonable fee for services. One thing we really liked is that she assured us she would be the only one personally working on the case. True to her word, she was the only person we ever dealt with. She also responded to calls and emails. Reaching her was never a problem.
After completing a child support case in another state related to the ex (which took months), Ms. Cumbo filed the divorce papers same day she received that judgement decree.
As a result, divorce was eventually granted divorce 4 weeks later. Last Monday, my new husband and I were able to finally get married to each other and do things right. We had hoped to never have had this prior marriage, but life doesn't always follow a straight line before meeting the right one.
One thing that made me want to contact Ms. Cumbo in the first place is a small quote on her page: "Life is a journey, and you don't have to go it alone". I felt that this attorney could understand where we were at the time.
We highly recommend Ms. Cumbo to those that value personalized services. Ms. Cumbo takes the time to explain procedure and overall plan/steps, without ever making you feel like you are wasting her time. We know that there have been times we have contacted her as she was leaving at the end of the day, and she still made time to speak to us. Because of her, we trusted in letting go and letting her handle the case, as we focused on other important matters.

I retained Mrs. Cumbo for a custody matter involving my ex and our 2 children. The case was a bit complicated because it involved not only the courts here in buffalo, but also the courts in Brooklyn NY. Mrs. Cumbo kept in contact with me and always kept me updated on procedures and how proceedings would commence. What makes her a very unique attorney is her litigation style, some attorneys are what is termed "barracuda" attorneys, and they will do their best to viciously attack the other party, however Mrs. Cumbo is not this style of attorney. She considers both parties in the case, and is willing to work towards a compromise which serves as an asset as this tends to be viewed favorably in the family court system. I am very glad I retained her services and as a result of her diligence, I was awarded sole residential custody of the children. Furthermore, as I held no animosity towards my ex, I was very pleased with how she handled the trial. I would definitely recommend Mrs. Cumbo for anyone facing a family court related matter.

I have the highest respect and admiration for Lynn Snyder, Attorney for family law. She is extremely competent, compassionate and very experienced. Lynn is not the typical attorney that looks to churn the bill at every opportunity. I was recommended to see Lynn from an outstanding attorney from the domestic violence center. My family is so lucky that I met Lynn. She had me fill out all of the typical discovery paper work prior to our first complementary interview and she was well prepared to discuss my case prior to the start of the meter running. My case involved mental health issues with my spouse. (Through this journey I’ve found out that mental health issues are more prevalent than anyone would admit in our society.) By Lynn’s 18+ years as a Master in the Courts, her sage counsel and her respect from the courthouse, Lynn enabled me to get full legal and physical custody of my children, which is just short of a miracle in the state of Pennsylvania. In the end, Lynn also helped me have my wife get the help that was needed for my wife’s recovery. Lynn never pushed me to divorce, which would have been the easiest path for someone that didn’t care, but it would not have been the best road for my family. Instead, Lynn always provided solid counsel and guidance that in the end provided a path for our family to get back together and regain our lives. I can’t thank Lynn enough. Lynn has helped me with a very complex child custody case which she resolved
Smoothly for both parties. Then my wife put a PFA order against me which Lynn successfully argued and cross examined in court with my wife and the judge dropped the final PFA order just based on wife'a testimony and Lynn amazing discovery skills. Finally Lynn has helped me a emergency child custody petition fearing the mother was being deported back to her home county and now is in process to file annulment of marriage with my wife. Unfortunately, l Inadvertently got myself into trouble. Finding an attorney was a difficult task especially due to the nature of my background. Stumbled upon Mr.Judkins to which l am VERY glad l did. Mr.Judkins, took on my case & shortly l was to be in court. Mr.Judkins, went to bat for me. The charge went from a felony to a Misdemeanor with community service/ court cost. Brook was an amazing consultant in our legal matters regarding a minor in our household. She fought fairly but stood by us and up for us during the entire process. There are few attorneys who would jump in their car and drive 3 hours because they have to file in a court and want to make sure it gets hand delivered and signed. There are even fewer who would make the drive multiple more times for the sake of getting the matter handled quickly and efficiently. The most fair you could ask for in regards to her billing practices and her response time could not be beat. Bonnie Nicole (Nikki) Hudman was exactly what I wanted and needed in a divorce lawyer. So often, we hear about contentious divorces in which the focus seems to be making the opposing party as miserable as possible. I did not want my case to be like that. Sure, making a cheating spouse go through all kinds of hell would be enormously satisfying; but, after all, that approach only serves to make everyone miserable and runs up your legal fees. I wanted a lawyer who is smart, someone who pays extraordinary attention to the details, and a lawyer who is professional and completely ethical. Nikki fulfilled all those requirements. I never doubted her loyalty to me. I know she had plenty of other clients, but she made me feel as though my case was of the utmost importance. I tried to not call or email her unless I really needed to; but when I did, she was very prompt to respond. When my case went to mediation, I was ready to give into demands from the opposing counsel. She looked me square in the face and said she would not let me do that. She said that I deserved more. Now, eight months later, I'm so happy she did that. I suppose we could have gone to trial to fight for an even greater percentage of the marital property, but Nikki clearly explained the possible benefits and the likely added expense. She definitely had my best interest in mind rather than increasing her legal fees. In the end, I'm very pleased with the outcome. My case finished with a property division I'm happy with, legal fees that weren't too painful, and the knowledge that my lawyer did a top-notch job for me. Best of all, I walked away with my dignity. Can't say that for the other side!
Just a note about Nikki's firm: Everyone that worked on my case was professional and courteous, especially Nikki's assistant. Every time I went to their office, I was treated with respect and kindness. I initially consulted with one of the partners. He suggested that I work with Nikki. He must have known she would be the perfect fit for my needs!

Justin and I sat down originally once I decided to attempt shared parenting. He was very helpful with discussing the process that needed to be done and the proper steps in doing so. Him and I always kept an open communication during this process which made it easier to respond to certain steps during this. It had been both confusing and stressful over the years, as I had initially attempted to get legal help to resolve problems in the original paperwork from other legal counsel, with no luck. In a final attempt, I feel very fortunate to have found and received the legal help and guidance from Ms. Root and her team. We worked through several challenging obstacles, explaining legal terms and steps required along the way, and then ultimately receiving the required military calculation information for final negotiations and terms of the final documents. The goal was to file clarifying divorce military benefits paperwork, for the outcome of a revised court order to receive these benefits. After much effort by all, we received this new court order.
In the beginning, I also stated that I wanted a first priority placed on keeping my kids out of the entire process, out of respect and sensitivity for them, as they should not be caught in the middle of this situation. My divorce was harrowing, and Jordan Young kept me afloat.
I was part of a very nasty divorce, and really thought I was going to lose time with my daughters, but Jordan stepped up and helped me not only survive, but eventually win more time with the kids.
She was able to understand the emotional complexities of divorce, but also didn't mince words about what would or wouldn't hold water in court. It was honestly a fantastic balance of accurate legal consultation and emotional support, which as I understand it with many attorneys is a rare combination.
She also didn't stand for any of the nonsense my ex tried to pull, and was the first to speak up when something was trending in an unreasonable direction.
I had a less-than-useless attorney prior, and got metaphorically disemboweled by the enormous bills, especially since no progress was made. As dramatic as the title is, Mr. Davis did just that. I was in the divorce of hell! Not to mention a custody battle that included IVF. The question was if the baby that I carried via RIVF( carried wife’s egg) was legally mine. As the state of Georgia does not legitimate children born of IVF, I was told that I was a biological stranger to my children. Like the child that was cut out of my uterus could be taken away from me as well as our son that was born a month before marriage. My life was literally being ripped apart! Mr. Davis did not offer any promises but assured me that we would take this thing head on. He did just that I was granted 50/50 custody to both of my children and child support. He’s a godsend! He got me an informal probationary period with the Judge. I didn’t have to pay my ticket as long as I slow down for a 6 month period and took an online defensive drivers course. Prior to hiring Tiffany Scott to assist with my child custody case, I had a total of 15 consultations with attorneys from all over the valley. I felt confident with my decision to move forward with Tiffany for many reasons. The #1 reason was because I felt she was the most genuine and transparent about my options and possible outcomes, while others pretended they could guarantee the outcomes I wanted, which you find out very quickly into a family law case that it is not possible. At every stage of the process, Tiffany took the time to provide me with every possible scenario so that I could make the decision I felt was best for myself and my son. It was critical to me to always have a realistic picture of what I was getting into and what it meant for my son's future relationship with me and with his father.
Another reason I appreciate working with Tiffany so much is because she immediately provided tips on how to save money on unnecessary attorney costs, such as minimizing emails and phone call costs by asking as many questions as possible at once. As a single mother, saving costs was very important to me and other attorneys I had consultations with suggested to immediately pursue temporary orders, which ultimately would have been a costly and unnecessary step in my case. Additionally, there were not any minimum hours billed for physical court appearances while one attorney I spoke with charged a minimum of 3 hours for court appearances.
A 3rd reason I loved working with Tiffany is because of her timely response to my emails and phone calls; and her clear, detailed and effective communication, which I felt ultimately saved me costs by minimizing back and forth emails or calls.
