Mike is simply the best!! After struggling with other counsel for a couple of years and the case not moving forward, counsel I engaged on related issues suggested I consult with Mike Kaufman as I was told he is, "the best attorney when there are issues with children". It was sound advice. Mike immediately turned the course of my case around and has provided outstanding representation for me on all issues. He is very knowledgeable, extremely honest and has immense credibility with his peers and in court. Prior to my initial meeting with Mr. Kaufman, I had discussed my situation with two other attorneys neither of which felt they could handle my case. Due to the difficulties of the case, they recommended I seek other counsel. In dealing with counsel on a different issue, Mr. Kaufman was highly recommended and I pursued making contact with him. While the divorce itself was an unpleasant experience, Mr. Kaufman was very thorough, compassionate, understanding, and made an exerted effort to protect my interests through his due diligence. This required spending much time understanding all the facts leading to the divorce which were quite convulated.. This also involved coordinating efforts with other legal counsel representing me on other issues related to these proceedings. The collabration, coordination, and communication between the legal counsel led to a determination with a favorable outcome in the divorce . I was very pleased with the communication and interaction with Mr. Kaufman throughout this process and would highly recommend him. I have provided Mr. Kaufman's contact information on several occassions and will continue to do so. I consider Mr. Kaufman a professional with a high standard of ethics. For anyone looking for legal representation. I would highly recommend hiring the Wolff & Wolff Law Firm. Michael is a man of his word and is very easy to talk to. When my workers comp case started he asked me to trust him and I'll admit I had my doubts at times. In the end of it all though Michael stayed true to his words and worked long and hard around the clock along with the rest of the law firm. They're very and family oriented. I can't say enough good stuff about Jenelle. She was the attorney that I needed. I had met with so many other attorneys on a very difficult case and they always were intimidating or just didn't care. I have been a client of hers for over a year and she is amazing. She responds to my calls and texts quickly and always makes me feel better. In the courtroom I was blown away by her skill and ability to argue in front of the judge and with her ability to question the witnesses and helping me to make sure my daughter is with me when my wife has tried to take her away. She seems genuinely concerned about what is best for children and truly cares about her clients. Over the last 30 years Mr. Basnight has been my attorney and has advised me on a number of legal issues and has represented me on a number of legal issues throughout the past 30 years.

Mariana has represented me for almost a decade starting with my separation in 2013. Unfortunately, I’ve needed her assistance navigating a difficult physical and legal joint custody of 4 children ever since. We’ve been through 2 parental coordinators (do not recommend), mediation, custody modifications and addendums, depositions of my ex and his multiple live in girlfriends (my personal favorite strategy), police and CPS involvement and attempted restraining orders. Much more but after awhile it’s just embarrassing.
Mariana has a good memory for my case which is super thick at this point. She once read 8 years of our family wizard emails before a deposition. Mariana has a good working relationship with her industry colleagues (when my ex hires and fires new attorneys Mariana gets them up to speed). Mariana is logical and non reactive. She thinks in terms of moves and counter moves.
If you are looking for revenge and want a man hating bulldog that will bury your opposition in motions and BS I would keep looking. Marina isn’t going to be your big sister, BFF or your therapist and charge you for it. If you want a thoughtful, smart, and responsive attorney that will represent your interests she’s a good person to have in your corner.

I am the father of a 6 year old girl, whose mother decided to cut me out of her life. For months, she did not allow me to have any communication, or visits with my daughter.
Mariana proceeded through the custody process extremely efficiently. All the email, calls, and discussions were extremely productive and led to a very strong case in court. Mariana is caring, extremely responsive (a rare trait in attorneys, i find), smart, well connected, and delivers results. More importantly, she is also very good at setting realistic expectations and wading through her client's emotions to tease out the facts and usable information. She prepared me well for my court date, always explained each step of the process very clearly, and made sure I was aware of all possible outcomes at all times (which greatly reduces surprises in an already emotionally difficult time).
In a scary and emotional time for me, Mariana provided guidance and results at lighting speed. The court awarded me more than I had hoped for, and I could not be any happier.
Some people are just excellent at their jobs-Mariana is one of them. You cannot go wrong with hiring her as to represent you in your family matter. It literally changed my life, and my daughter's.

I wish I could fully convey my thoughts about Scott. Scott took on my case midway through the process when my previous attorney quit my divorce. I found myself in a really bad spot having to find a new attorney that was willing to go to trial with a judge that was not in my favor, and against my ex’s attorney who was free. Scott had good graces knowing that I came from an attorney that honestly loathed him, and he took up my banner in the middle of his heavy case load. I cannot tell you how indebted to him and his team for making the impossible possible.
By the time my trial came my case had been completely revamped. His partner Mckail worked diligently on my exhibits for my case and spent the time to really prepare all my witnesses before trial. We walked in to court with a better case than I had in the last year, and Scott’s acumen in the trial was shrewd and well informed. His arguments consistently met with the approval of the judge, and he deftly handled my ex’s attorney when they tried to sneak in testimony that was underhanded.
In the end I got what I fought for two years for, my kids and the equal right to be involved in their lives. My children and I are the direct benefactors of Scott’s skills and help. I absolutely give my recommendation to Scott as an attorney worth working with.

Mary was very direct and clear about her recommendations, but was also willing to do whatever I asked during a very complicated custody, equitable distribution and divorce process. She was supportive and has a great sense of humor. She has good relationships with her legal counterparts, which ultimately makes the most difference in and out of court. Since this was a complex case, there were some things that did not turn out as expected, but Mary and Wendy were always upfront with me and walked through what the next steps would be. The only feedback for improvement would be occasionally administrative things were a little disorganized (for instance forgetting to correct errors in paperwork, disposing of the wrong document, having to do some things while I waited rather than having it ready), but there was nothing that impacted the case negatively. Overall, they took care of whatever needed to happen and made sure my best interests were covered.

I am a licensed mental health counselor, a therapist in private practice for over 30 years, and recently retained Jonathan on the advice of another attorney that I regard quite highly but was unavailable. His high praise for Jonathan proved true, as he was both very professional and personable in his representation of my case, which was basically a delusional ex-client claiming that I and members of my family were stalking her. She was able to use the state to get a domestic violence restraining order against me and my son, who did not know her, and the assistance of a "victim's" advocate at taxpayer expense as the state has written these laws to "protect" the "victim" even if everything they say is utterly fallacious. Jonathan put together an excellent defense (you have to basically prove you are innocent as the state is quite willing to assume otherwise) demonstrating that dates and times she said she was being "stalked" were times when I was out of state, along with other impossible scenarios she contrived. This has made a deep impression up me that there are a lot of very deeply disturbed individuals out there who are even worse off than you might detect or imagine in a counseling session. And should you come across one who wants to mess with your life for their own insanely self-indulgent motives, it is good to know an effective, kind, skillful and reasonably-priced lawyer to protect and vindicate you. Jonathan is one such attorney and I will be referring all of my clients who need legal consultation to him from now on, knowing they will be well served. I found Emily Tsai after seeing my wife’s lawyer out class my first 3 lawyers. He was able to take the documented truth and twist it into lies. The first 3 fell prey to sleazy tactics and threats of sanctions. Maybe they were afraid of a lawyer who had a Commissioner working in his law firm. Emily took him on and save me from losing potentially $2 million to the lies and tricks of the other side. She did this by not responding to lies and sleaze with lies and sleaze. She did it using the high road with good legal reasoning, good legal research, and outstanding expert witnesses.
Emily is hard working. To my objection she had me in her office late into the night to prepare for the arbitration hearing. Her husband was very patient and waited hours for her to complete the preparations.
