I was hit from behind by a truck at an intersection in 2015! I hired Ryan Rudd & his team Ady & Carly. This was the best decision I have ever made. I did not care for Attorney's but Ryan has renewed my faith that there are great attorneys out there. I am still in litigation but Ryan and his team consistently keep me informed and are on top of everything. You can expect a response from Ryan and his team within a day. I was in a car accident in January of 2021. The other party was not only at fault, but negligent. Mr. Janes was recommended to me by a friend, so I promptly contacted him. Mr. Janes took the information I had to start out with and let me know that these type of cases were very hard to do anything with but he would review my case and see what he could do. He immediately started getting all my records. I had already asked for all of them but had not been given all of them. It took a while to get them because the company that had some of them didn't seem to want to let me have them, but Mr. Janes was able to persuade them that they had to let me have them. Everyone I spoke with that was assisting Mr. Janes was so helpful and easy to deal with. Mr. Janes was always available for me if I needed to talk with him and also the others that worked on my case. When it got down to settling for an amount, he was able to get a lot of the Medicare charges taken off of the amount I had to pay them back. He never tried to pressure me into accepting anything. It was totally my decision but he supported me with what I decided to do. Him and his team made this process as easy for me as I think it could possibly be. I am extremely satisfied with the outcome and how it was handled.

I had been to several attorneys who clearly did not understand my issue and were not interested in trying to understand it. One such lawyer even went as far as to say that I didn’t have a case. And then I found Patrick X. Amoresano, Esq..
He answered the phone when I called which was unexpected. This impressed me. He spoke to me at length and he listened when I spoke. He heard me. He cares deeply about justice and helping others. He advocates for his clients and goes above and beyond what most lawyers do for their clients. I marveled at his ability to get to the heart of the issue quickly, flesh out the truth, and then set his approach or plan of attack. He is relentless in action. I loved the way he handled the doctors during depositions. Clearly he knew as much if not more than the doctors did. He was in complete command of the subject matter. He does the work necessary to have a successful outcome.

I lost my house, due to an odd probate situation. Attorney Miller listened to my story, then set about finding a way to recoup a portion of what I'd invested in the home that was taken from me. It wasn't an easy case; the other side had all the money and power. Attorney Miller stands for what is fair and just, though. He researched his fingers to the bone, assimilated all information I provided, and then stood up for me in a confident, and competent, manner. WE WON! Because of his work, knowledge, and congenial attitude, a settlement has been made in my favor. I am so grateful for the opportunity to begin to rebuild a life that had been previously shattered to pieces. California is a difficult state to be a medical malpractice plaintiff. You're going to need the best and in my opinion, you could do no better than David Smith. Ours was a complex case, one which other attorneys had rejected due to all the difficulties of prosecuting medical malpractice in California. Once Mr. Smith agreed to take our case, he was like a bulldog! We encountered some serious obstacles and were up against a heartless insurance company law firm that tried to play some ruthless games and (in my opinion) shady legal maneuvers. But Mr. Smith was ahead of them at every step, even as they seemed intent on taking the case to trial. Ultimately, they came to realize that we had a tenacious pro on our side, and they settled.
What I can tell you is that I'm not a big fan of attorneys in general, but we really felt like we had a powerful and effective ally in Mr. Smith. It turns out he's a helluva nice guy too!

I'm very thankful to have found Melissa. I was being sued by a family member and it was an absolutely gruesome experience. The lawyer I initially had was an incompetent buffoon. I had tremendous anxiety every time we spoke and would literally be sweating. That lawyer took up my time with long phone calls that did zero to help me and and she wasted my resources pretty badly by referring to me to her friend, a trust attorney, who I paid thousands to just to find out what an hour long google search could have turned up. Getting ripped off by attorneys is too common. It's a jungle out there.
Finding Melissa was the opposite experience from top to bottom. She was always available to talk but my own questions determined the length of the call so I never once felt she kept me on the phone unnecessarily while the meter ticked away. She was always to the point and told me what I needed to hear with the utmost respect without being scary. I always felt better after talking to her. She advised me to go to my own hearing which was amazing advice and that really paid off. The person suing me hid behind his lawyer and didn't attend. Melissa always listened to me and went above and beyond to help me. It was such a complex and horrible situation involving family members and a mess of a trust that was crafted years ago along with the personal element involved in such a case and being harassed and lied about.
Melissa was able to hold so many things in her brain at the very same time that honestly I have never met anyone who could do this as well as her. She's even-keeled and understands the big picture of your case and the legal system in general very well. She's honestly amazing and you will not get more or better service from any other lawyer.

Farshad represented me in a personal injury case where the insurance company I was dealing with pushed back when I requested compensation for real costs such as lost income and gas costs for driving to/from dr appointments and treatments. I spoke to a social worker in regards to the stability of their home life when they aren't with me. Being concerned about my daughter, and the inconsistency of her lifestyle which concerned me quite a bit whenever she would take the kids or present a different new boyfriend/place to stay.. (for the most part I have raised them/they lived w/me) I began to get concerned about how they were being affected by her irresponsibility as a parent. Later to find out that they were not attending school, and my oldest grandson taking on the babysitter role and would get in trouble for his little brother in which he became a totally different kid (quite angry about his whole environmen) he was told to lie to me if I asked him questions. My grandson started to call me when his mom would sleep/ or wasn't home and he would tell me things. I convinced my daughter to let me take them to live with me during the week so I can enroll them back in school and fix the inconsistency again time passed and they were safe with me; She started telling me things when she didn't get her way, trying to manipulate saying she was taking the kids from me (*if I talked to her about lying, and being irresponsible etc...) I got to the point that I needed to help these kids before she really screwed them upore and swore to look; nyo things and if she ever got into trouble shoplifting etc... I would use it to my advantage. The social worker referred me to Legal services for children and I started to work on getting guardianship and soon enough she went to jail. They were great, they helped me so much with everything including emergency paperwrk for serving her in jail for restraining order etc .. they came to my home to talk to the kids and I. They made it smooth like butter explaining everything!!! So glad she recommended this place. Perfect for kids who eed help!!!

In early 2020 I contacted Mr. Kelly to handle 2 cases - one nursing home and one hospital. I had an injury due to a flu shot. While I eventually did recover, I had lost work time as well as over $600 of physical therapy co-pays that I was responsible for. I had read that there is a way to get compensated by the government for losses such as these and I was referred to the Burdettes. Over the course of almost 2 years Kelly kept in touch with me, got the documentation she needed, and amazingly enough, I actually got a settlement from the government. I had not even known such a service existed. I am very grateful to Kelly for all that she did and will use her again if I need legal services.

I was recently involved in a very challenging legal matter that I was told was essentially unwinnable by several trusted confidants. I turned to the Osborn Machler firm based on their reputation with difficult and complex cases, and Austin Neff was assigned as the lead attorney in my case.
From the beginning, Mr. Neff and his colleagues concurred that my case was indeed an uphill battle. But Austin immediately began to outline a legal strategy he calculated would maximize our chances of success. What stood out initially to me was his ability to explain complex legal terms and processes in a way that I could easily understand, which helped alleviate much of my anxiety—which, I admit, was through the roof.
As someone with very little exposure to the legal system, much of the strategy Austin constructed seemed almost counterintuitive to me at first. But he was very patient in explaining the reasoning for his approach at every step of the way, as I peppered him with endless layman’s questions about the law. By the time we were ready for the hearing, I almost felt like I had a couple semesters of law school under my belt.
I realize that all attorneys have multiple cases they are working on at any given moment. And I realize that they simply cannot be as emotionally involved in each of their cases as their clients are, of course. But I’ll have to admit that my level of optimism went up a notch or two when Austin looked up from a response he was reading from opposing counsel and paused and stated, “I’m starting to take this personally.”
The hearing itself was the first time I had seen Austin Neff in action in the courtroom. I first met Maryam in 2013 while she worked diligently on a criminal case for my husband. She had truly been a Godsend to my family. Maryam went above and beyond to thoroughly represent my husband, she went as far as to obtain her notary license so that she could notarized an important document while my husband was incarcerated at MDC, LA. I could call on her and Maryam would be available. It gave me great peace of mind knowing that she was an attorney that actually cared about her clients. Maryam was honest with me and did not sugar-coat the severity of my husbands case. I felt safe and connected to her for her honesty. Tragically, my husband passed away in custody. I had not spoken to Maryam in well over a year (we ended up going with a public defender). I received a very heartfelt text from Maryam giving me her condolences and telling me how much she knew I loved my husband.
A year and half later in 2016, I hired her to represent my minor daughter for a DUI. Again, I cannot tell how much she went above and beyond to represent thoroughly for my family. She works hard, she's honest and she has a heart that truly wants to help her clients and represent them in the best possible way. Maryam took the time to sit and meet with my daughter and offered her ear and help even beyond the court room. My daughter received probation and Maryam did her homework and was able to save me thousands ($25+K) of dollars in a falsified restitution claim. I could never thank Maryam enough for all that she has done for me and my family. My daughter is now off of probation thanks for Maryam. She is on a much better path and is expecting.

I had found Maryam Sharifi through a common aquantance and I will say I was very lucky to have been able to find a way to her. I had received a DUI charge that was pending as a felony and she did everything she could to save me jail time and bring it down to a misdemeanor. She had spoken with me dad and many occasions and went out of her way to keep him informed as well and she really got to know us had a genuine concern for my well being. She found a traffic school for me and made sure I kept up with any and all court assigned classes to make sure I got out of this okay. For a very long time I had a huge worry of going to jail and having to drop out of school and all that come with that; and Maryam has helped physically as well as mentally with all of that and I couldn't thank her enough. When I retired in 2014 for health reasons, I had an implant patient with chronic maxillary sinusitis, but unrated to her implants. She found an attorney that thought he could make this my problem and this is when I met Mr. deMaine, Through four years (4 years is not unusual, in fact it takes over a year to schedule the trial), Mr. deMaine was part intellectual, part psychologist--being sued is traumatic emotionally and inter-personally for your entire family. Mr. deMaine took every opportunity to make sure I was healthy and not abused by the legal process. Mr. deMaine worked tirelessly to get me the best--even famous--expert witness testimony which supported my professional decisions and treatments. Mr. deMaine explained the 'system' to me in great detail and took much time to prepare me for deposition and trial. At no time did Mr. deMaine give me false hope or hyperbole, but reasonable expectations. What I appreciated most about Mr. deMaine, was his explanation that being sued in court by a jury of my peers, has nothing to do with facts and my reliance on being 'right,' has nothing to do with the court process and 'guilt' is more of a subjective process. Two months before my scheduled trial, Mr. deMaine visited the enemy's expert specialist across state and through his most professional preparation, basically demonstrated every point this expert had put to paper, was wrong. The case was dismissed and no trial was required. Needless to say, Mr. deMaine is one of few hero's I have met in my life.
