My husband and I reached out to Thad Davidson regarding a legal matter in July. He had it resolved by August 7, not even an entire month later. Case DROPPED. We will forever be grateful to Mr. Davidson not only for his legal expertise but also for his continued hard edged friendliness. He gave us fantastic advice, not only legally. Stuart Sarratt helped me when I was at the lowest point in my life. I was fighting 3 felony charges that I was not guilty of, I was completely broken. I hired Michael Owens and Christina Stephenson as a team to represent me in an employment dispute. Life is certainly not fair and not every dispute requires legal intervention, but when it does the fallout is typically ugly.
When I first hired Michael and Christina to look into a Whistleblower retaliation claim, I was reeling from the aftershocks and uncertainty of an unfair termination just days before Christmas. Would I lose my house? Would I be able to afford to keep my child in school? How would I regain my confidence that I could find a job where I wouldn't be punished for trying to do the right thing? This isn't the state of mind from which a person typically has the presence to right a wrong or set the record straight and the law provides some remedy, but on a pretty tight timeline.
Michael and Christina both took the time needed to listen, understand the case, and sort the legal issues involved from perception and emotion. They were able to help me understand the difference between what is illegal and what is unfair and to direct me to seek the appropriate remedies for each.
When it came to what was illegal, they were perceptive, smart, organized and thorough in their review and presentation of the facts. When it came to what was unfair, they respectfully listened, but also encouraged me to continue seeking the remedy of time and introspection to heal.

I was charged with stealing a cell phone, the phone took a picture of me! The person then filed a case! However, the police didn't investigate, they just automatically filed charges! Mr. Spade presented all my evidencecas a landlord being retaliated against from an ex tenant! The DA withdrew all charges in 12 sec in the courtroom! The false accuser is now in prison!! I was involved in a collision with an uninsured motorist in Fall 2023. At the advise of a friend, I contacted Andrew Cherin to assist me with the claim mediation with both my auto insurance and my health insurance. He was able to claim me the maximum payout from my auto insurance, and got my health insurance to waive any reimbursement out of the auto claim! I was involved in an extremely contentious business lawsuit. Steve was referred to me by my personal attorney due to a conflict of interest. I was under an extreme time constraint to obtain representation. Steve stepped up with little time or preparation and definitely lived up to the reputation he was reported to have. The death of my mother was very hard in many ways, but the loss of my stepfather/ Dad of 30yrs was devastating to say the least. I truly thought nothing could be worse. Then my step siblings and his ex-wife decided to try to make me and my nephew into thief's and horrible people.
I never would have believed that the court's would have allowed this whole thing to go as far as it did. Allegations and blatant lies, not proof, but it did.
If it hadn't been for Davis and Doug I honestly think they might have gotten away with it, since I'm a step daughter, FYI: Stepdaughter I found to be something of a "bad thing" automatically.
Thank you for listening and fighting for us. Thank you for not allowing my dad to be misrepresented as well, even though that was a byproduct, I know he would be thankful as well.
