Not enough good words in the English language to say about Rand. He goes above and beyond for his clients and truly cares about getting you the best result. I have hired Rand several times and he has always been communicative and receptive to all ideas and approaches. He is highly knowledgeable about the law as well as the potential judges and prosecutors you might encounter. Rand has provided me with high quality representation at an affordable price. I could not recommend anyone more so than him and as a trained attorney that says a lot. Go forward with Rand you will not be sorry about your decision. Rand Lucey from Jezic & Moyse, LLC is a superb lawyer. I had a legal issue with some pretty life altering outcomes if I didn't have a lawyer represent me - well he did and his firm did. They had weekend hours during a major snowstorm - and he was there. He was amazing in court, my charges were reduced to just a $150 fine. He and his firm were amazing helpful and put my mind at rest- not to mention my family's minds. I highly recommend Rand and his firm to anyone that needs legal help. I haven't slept that well in a long time. I go to him and his firm for all my legal needs, you should too.

This guy knows what he is doing, plus his firm is famous in the DMV area. What he did for me was BIG. He did such a good job people thought i was an informant, lol. Thats what the Jezic firm and Rand Lucey does. They do such a good job people that aren't familiar with their level of expertise cant believe the outcomes in the courtroom. I got in trouble for too much medical mmj and the jezic Firm said to me "its just MMJ". I felt super safe with Rand Lucey. Thanks. 3rd I

I put my family and career at risk when I got arrested for a DUI. Based on a word of mouth referral, I contacted Mr. Grace. He really put my mind at ease. He explained the process in an easy way to understand and knew exactly what to do to put myself in position for the best outcome possible. Mr. Grace also knows a lot of police officers when he worked as a Fraternal Order of Police attorney. In the end, everything worked out and I still have my job and life. Mr. Grace was terrific!

I have used this attorney for my divorce and for a job misconduct issue. Always knew his job and related issues in court. Very smart and has a very quick sence of changing the tides on opposing counsel. Well worth the money. I usually dont recommend lawyers to anyone because as a police officer, they are the enemy. Now as for Chris Grace, he is top notch and you should fell lucky to have him.

I met Chris Grace during a difficult time. My marriage was ending and I didn't know where to turn. Initially I interviewed two lawyers and was ready to choose one to represent me in my divorce, then I met Chris Grace. Immediately I knew that Chris had not only my best interest at heart but also my young children interest at heart. I contacted Ms. Demougeot to help my father and I with a criminal defense case in 2017. From the start, she understood that we were all very much on edge about the situation and she took the time to calm us down. She walked us through the process and was honest and straightforward with us about each step, but - most importantly- she fought very hard for us. My father does not speak English, and having a lawyer able to switch back and forth between Spanish and English to make him feel comfortable was invaluable. She has a powerful presence in the courtroom and her dedication to us - her clients - reassured both my father and myself. David took the time to reach out. I have difficulties talking to people and communicating and correspondence due to my anxiety but David made me feel alright the entire time. David also took the time to talk to me and my little family. he also took very good care of me the entirety and made sure to continually check on me. I live in the charles county area. I was recently almost potentially convicted with a charge that would effect my job. Andy talked me through everything; all of the possibilities and all of the paths that my case could go. He is not one to sugarcoat but the reality of whatever complicated situation you may be in is explained thoroughly and intellectually. I had serious doubts about my case but Andy was ready for battle. I felt like no matter what situation I was in, he would be willing to persevere with determination and confidence. He was prepared for the outcomes that not even I had imagined could be possible with my case. Not to mention the commute he took to represent me in court. & the procedures he went through to save me time & money. Andy is professional, kind, and extremely educated in his field. Let me start by saying that if it had not of been for Doug Coggins, my career and future welfare could very well be jeopardized. A little while ago I got into some trouble with the Montgomery County PD and received some fairly serious criminal traffic charges. I had never been in this situation before and had no idea where to start. I met Doug under the referral of my parents and after my first visit, I immediately began to feel better. He told me that based on my past record which was pretty clean considering what I was facing and my decent sense personal integrity, the outcome of my case had a very good chance of being favorable. However, he made sure that he did not give me a false sense of hope and reminded me that I was always at the mercy of the court and that he would do everything in his power to help me. Sure enough a few weeks later Doug came through ten-fold. After our initial meeting, he met with the states attorney and was able to negotiate a deal which entailed that my more serious charges would be dismissed if I agreed to perform 24 hours of community service. I met with Doug one more time after that to discuss the details regarding my community service and how it affected my charges specifically. Following that meeting we went to court where Doug and the states attorney presented the details of our agreement before the judge and asked for an extension so that I could complete my community service. I kept in touch with Doug via e-mail letting him know when my community service was done, and a few months later we went back to court and essentially sealed the deal. The serious charges were dismissed, and the points were dropped on the less serious ones pending that I paid the fines. Doug's proficiency and courtroom demeanor were impressive to say the least and I hardly had to tell the judge anything which was very reassuring since I knew he was on top of it. I highly recommend Doug Coggins to anyone who finds themselves in a situation where they need professional guidance and someone who has their back.

Phillip and his team helped me through a long and treacherous divorce. His advice was solid. He did an excellent job preparing me for deposition and court and was an excellent lawyer! He listened to me the entire time & even read my scribbles quickly in court when my spouse was lying and was able to quickly point to evidence that my spouse was not being honest!

In working with Paul, it was clear he had good handle on the legal and technical issues involving the situation but equally important was Paul's "bed side manner" in caring about the stress the situation was having on the family. This did not go unnoticed. At times, it felt like a family member was on our side. This is no small item. Other than a medical professional, I'm not sure there is a more important person to display emotional empathy than an attorney. It might be "routine and normal" for guys like him to be handling cases but for every day "Joe's" that need legal help in our lives, having a caring advisor is key.

Like most, my divorce was pretty difficult from day one, and Paul was there every step of the way. I contacted Jeffrey Schultz about representing me for a small claims appeal case. From the moment I met with Mr. Schultz during the 30 minute free consultation, I could tell that he was listening carefully to the details of my case to fully understand the best approach for representing me. He took detailed notes and asked comprehensive questions regarding the details of the case. Mr. Schultz also quoted a very reasonable price for representing me given the simplicity of the appealed case. I felt that Mr. Schultz generally cared about my case and wanted to make this process as painless as possible for me. Mr. Schultz contacted my witnesses for the case and prepared them as well. Attorney Gray was hired to handle my divorce proceedings a year ago. He is an honest, trustworthy professional who will treat you with respect and dignity. In the past I had problems with divorce lawyers handling my case. I would have to stay on top of them by calling and repeatavly ask how my case is going to be handled. I contacted Mr. Rand less than a week before my scheduled hearing date. His fee for the initial consultation was very reasonable and overall his charges are reasonable. During the consultation we were able to figure the focus of my case which was a great help among all the issues I wanted to include. I decided to present my case myself and Mr. Rand spent 4 hours with me on a rainy SUNDAY afternoon to help me prepare. Tom knows many different areas of law- my complaint was against a condo association- his preparation helped me overcome the opposition which had TWO high priced lawyers presenting their case. I would (and WILL) work with Tom in the future and highly recommend him to anyone looking to hire a knowledgeable attorney with solid credentials.

I was referred to Joel Zuckerman by another outstanding lawyer, Stephen Alexander Shechtel (has a perfect 10 rating on Avvo) whom was recommended to me by a trusted friend’s lawyer, Brian Sadur. This friend (a doctor and father), who had experienced an international marriage/divorce with a Japanese national, fully understood the custody challenges involved when divorcing a Japanese National—for context: Japanese culture advocates sole custody to the Japanese parent as the only and safest option for all Japanese (mixed or otherwise) children (hence Japan’s nickname “the black hole of child abduction”). This friend, who despite being a father and non-Japanese, managed to successful win fair custody access to his children against a Japanese mother—therefore his recommendation was clearly sound. Because of gross manipulation and abuse of the courts by my ex-husband’s lawyer, Jessica Markham (read my google review of Jessica Markham for a more thorough understanding of her slimy fermented underskin), I didn’t get the opportunity to follow-up on the recommendation until after my children were kidnapped in Japan from the USA by their father/my-japanese-ex-husband. Shechtel was unable to take on a new case at the time, but he referred me to Joel Zuckerman, who is not only an exceptional lawyer with an intact moral compass (as he took my case knowing I had already extinguished all my funds on legal fees up to that point), but whom also is experienced with complicated international custody cases. When working on my case, I was blown away by how efficient and concise he worked with his time and communication (being mindful to not waste any of my already depleted funds). He always gave me straight answers (even when he knew it wasn’t the one I wanted to hear) and managed my expectations of what he could or couldn’t do for me. He also worked very fast to meet my fast moving Japanese court deadlines (as my ex always turned in his motions late leaving little time to prepare rebuttals—a shady trick Markham also used in US court). Despite managing my expectations realistically of a low recovery rate with Japan (to date, no non-Japanese parent has ever successfully recovered their child from japan through the Hague convention, and those recovered by other means are estimated to be around 4% in the last 40+ years), he successfully coordinated with my Japanese lawyer, Takao Tanase, to recover my children from parental abduction by means of a Habeas Corpus motion in Tokyo High Court—an insanely difficult task and even more rare feat. I can’t recommend Joel enough to parents in complicated custody battles and feel you won’t find a more hardworking and efficient lawyer with an intact integrity.

Joel Zuckerman represented me during my divorce and support enforcement/recalculation proceedings. I feel extremely fortunate to have had Joel's assistance through one of the most difficult times in my life. He is honest, professional, extremely thorough and well-prepared at all times. He also responds to questions almost instantly, which is very reassuring when your life is turned upside down by divorce. To this day I am impressed by how well he knew the facts of my case, how he checked in on me throughout the process to make sure we were working on long term solutions that would work for my family, and how he zealously protected my interests when I needed it most. My perspective is somewhat unique. Because of Joel's excellent advocacy, I was able to attend law school after my divorce. I now know that Joel has a reputation for being a hard opponent to beat in court, but is also well-liked within the legal community. This means that Joel is tough when you need him to be, but adheres to professional standards in a way that benefits, not harms, his clients' interests. Additionally, Joel's legal writing and arguments are well researched, clear, and spot on, which goes a long way toward creating successful outcomes for clients. I can tell you that, both as a client and an (almost) attorney, Joel is one of the best Maryland has to offer. I recommend him to everyone I know because he is hardworking and adept, and I will try to emulate how he treated me as a client when I represent my own clients. What more can I say than that?

I met Mr. Zuckerman by accident. I got a temporary protective order from my ex and I was given the names of 3 attorneys to call. I found Joel Zuckerman on my own without recommendations. I called all 4 attorneys and Mr. Zuckerman was the only one that went above and beyond what I expected. It was my first time going through this and I did not know what to do, think or expect. However, he went directly to the court to get the recording of what my ex told the judge that allowed the judge to grant a temporary protective order. I was impressed. I hired him and during my the protective order hearing he was able to turn everything around. I then hired him for custody because there was an agreement signed that I had no clue of what certain things meant, but he represented me well and I was able to get additional items reverted from the contract I signed. A few years later I hired him again for custody and we won custody and about $1800/month in child support. He was able to uncover a lot of income my ex was hiding. I couldn't have gone through my custody without him. He is experienced and professional, but most importantly he cares.

I applied for Social Security Disability and I had previous representation but my case was getting nowhere so I consulted Mr. Cooper to find out what options were available to me. After the consultation, I hired Mr. Copper to represent me and soon he had my case moving through the courts. Mr. Cooper is professional and he is a nice person. I hired Ms. Arnett to create my Living Trust and my Last Will and Testament. I knew the time had come, but I was naive. I thought I just needed a Will. But after interviewing me and taking meticulous notes on my wishes, she helped me understand that especially because I own a small business, a Will was not sufficient enough to honor my wishes. And this was no upsell. It was a lesson about how little power a Will has and how much it doesn't cover. And I think most lay people like me would be surprised too. It's not just about who you want your deceased grandmother's jewelry to go to. What would you do if you were still alive, but unable to make decisions for yourself? If you own a small business, what's going to happen to it if you die? What if you have no wife, siblings or children, such there would be not be an obvious or lawful choice as a beneficiary? And if a Court had to ultimately decide for you, would you want some random Judge making these decisions - all because you didn't want to spend the time and money to create the needed official legal documents that ratify your wishes when you were still alive? Ms. Arnett was willing to negotiate a very fair cost for drafting these docs and was more than patient with me when some life events caused me to take a really long time to review and proofread the drafts of all of the docs, even though she prepared them in a timely manner. And when it was time to sign all of the documents, she included two of her own assistants, necessary to serve as two witnesses, with one being a notary public. I give BT Arnett my highest recommendation!

In a world where time is money, most attorneys are hard pressed to talk to people without being compensated. Today Attorney Torrence took the time to answer questions & provide options regarding a potential action. I sent an email to her on yesterday, she responded TODAY. She was not short or hurried and was MOST professional, knowledgeable and reasonable. She took her time and explained my options. It was pleasure to speak with her.
