I engaged the services of Altman & Altman after my recent bike accident, and they have been amazingly efficient, knowledgeable, professional, and functioned as my advocate with the insurance company to get me the fairest settlement possible. Anthony O'Connor was assigned to my case, and he kept me apprised of progress every step of the way. He offered what I would label "valet service" in terms of making every part of the process easy for me. He ensured that all medical bills were covered, followed up on each property damage portion of the claim (re: my bicycle equipment), and he successfully negotiated the best settlement available given the constraints of the insurance company. It has been an absolute pleasure dealing with Anthony, and I highly recommend him as a top-notch legal advocate.

Atty. Young has helped me on several occasions during my divorce and after. She continues to help with issues that come up from divorced couples such as, money and support, vacation times with children, who pays for what and when, etc. In my case alcoholism played and continues to play an important role in why I make the decisions I make. Linda helps to make sure that the Judge understands what is going on so that I may protect my children and make responsible choices regarding their upbringing. Addressing legal issues is no one's idea of a good time: you're dealing with something important, and it can be stressful worrying about whether it's going to be done right, and whether you're going to be taken advantage of in the process. What you want is someone who knows his stuff cold, really takes your side, and treats you fairly and respectfully. That's Ed. He's done all our important contract work - and has helped me navigate an issue at municipal court. He's extremely efficient, explains it all in easy to understand terms, and helps you make the right decisions. It takes the stress out of the process - which is a big deal - and even more importantly, has gotten me successful outcomes (an even bigger deal!). Like finding a excellent and trustworthy doctor or a mechanic, you need to have a go-to guy as a lawyer. Ed is it. I fully recommend.

A friend referred me to Attorney Krippendorf because my case was complex and required someone who was sharp and skilled in both criminal and divorce law. Before I could focus on my divorce case and custody of my children, I had to overcome a criminal case that was wrongly brought against me. Nonetheless, Attorney Krippendorf guided me through the process and had the criminal case dismissed so we could then focus our efforts on the divorce proceedings. From the beginning, he wanted to understand my needs and what I wanted in the end. His strategy was based on that and throughout the process, he informed me on what we needed to do to achieve that. He communicated with me and answered all of my questions during this time. He was extremely responsive to me and proavtive in our cases. Divorce and custody battles are not easy things to go through, especially at the same time but I am happy with my experience with Attorney Krippendorf. He got me more than what this state typically awards a father. He understood what I wanted and he fought for it. For knowledgable, experienced and honest representation, I would strongly recommend Attorney Krippendorf.

I had a consultation with Adam a few months ago in regard to my property in Somerville that I was trying to expand and turn into condos. The process in Somerville seems to be to be difficult and confusing but Adam was very specific about how it would work and what I needed to get done. I hired Adam and I am very happy that I did. first of all this was a crazy case that lasted 3 years with the twists and turns that a Hollywood movie couldn't write. Greg stuck with it the whole way, thinking through strategy, checking facts, law, consulting with other lawyers to make sure the strategy was sound. always on time, easy to get ahold of, and easy to work with. most of all takes what he does very seriously, and is great in court. i would absolutely hire him again if i ever have the need.

My parents and I had a lot of questions and we all found Marc to be an excellent listener who really cared about setting up a plan that would best meet their needs. Estate planning is a difficult topic, as an Accountant, I knew what my Mom should have to protect her assets but getting my Mom to agree was a totally different thing. Ben took the time to listen to what I thought my Mom needed and to my Mom and was able to come up with an estate plan where all of my concerns were addressed. He has so much compassion for his clients, my Mom felt comfortable with him within a few minutes of our initial meeting.

I hired Ben in the summer of 2017 to prepare two important documents: a Durable Power of Attorney, and a Health Care Proxy/Living Will. I was recently in an auto accident when a tractor trailer truck ran a stop sign and broadsided my vehicle. This left me hospitalized for about a month with many broken bones. Attorney Click recently represented our large extended family in a case where a prominent attorney attempted a land taking by claiming adverse possession. When we approached David, he was extremely busy but agreed to represent us in a timely manner that was needed to answer the complaint. Prior to contacting David we had spoken with other lawyers who were reluctant to go up against this particular well known law firm. David does not shy away from difficult. He knows the laws and is able to articulate his thoughts in a concise manner. He was very professional and nice to work with, and listened to any input that we wanted to contribute. He offered to travel to meet with the multiple people involved as most did not live nearby. The case reached a settlement agreeable to all defendants as well as the plaintiff having to pay all of our attorney fees. We highly recommend David as an attorney.

A commercial customer canceled my contract and refused to pay the outstanding invoice, a five figure sum. David took on my case after direct appeals failed to product any results. David is a careful, detailed listener and assembled a fairly complete picture of the situation by the end of our first phone call. Subsequently, he spoke with other involved parties, prepared the necessary affidavits, and filed suit in Norfolk Superior Court. His preparation is very thorough, exploring multiple avenues of enforcing the payment of my invoices. Ultimately, he presented my case in Superior Court with clarity and force. When the judge compliments your attorney on his presentation, you know you've picked a winner. After the first day in court, opposing counsel promptly advised his client to move to a settlement. I was reimbursed nearly 100% of the outstanding debt. While I would prefer not to go through any of this again, David would absolutely be my first call. He is top notch, well prepared, and knowledgeable regarding the intricacies of the legal system and its exacting requirements. -- Highly recommended.

When my father and I came to see Samantha, we were struggling with what seemed like an insurmountable challenge: applying for and obtaining MassHealth benefits for my 86-year old mother, who has late-stage Alzheimer’s and who was in desperate need of round-the-clock care. The MassHealth approval process has innumerable requirements. It is tricky, and it is one of those applications where it would be easy to make a mistake and end up creating delays if I had attempted to navigate it myself. Samantha, however, stepped in with her considerable knowledge, her sharp attention to detail, and her diligence, and made this overwhelming task completely manageable. She would check in with me, or I with her, and her guidance and *patience* during this time was invaluable. She was always available to answer questions, not only mine, but anyone who was providing us with essential documentation for the application, and who might need an explanation of what was required. She called in for three-way conferences, and wrote emails on our behalf requesting information. We always knew where we stood, and she anticipated and prepared us for any potential problems, which she would then help us to resolve. She is utterly honest and straightforward. Several months on now, my parents’ lives have improved immeasurably: my mother is securely cared for, in her own home, with all the attention and guidance we could ever hope for—and all owing to Samantha’s considerable efforts on our behalf. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

I highly recommend Samantha Gentel as a elder lawyer. She was profession and patient at a time in my life when my 91 year old mother had fallen in her home and needed to be placed in a nursing facility. So many people to speak with, so much to deal with. Applying for Medicaid seemed like an awfully difficult task to do by myself. Thank God, for Samantha. She was patient and steady for me and got the Medicaid application completed and approved. I could not have done this without her help and I would not recommend anyone do it alone. Thank you so much.

Samantha was instrumental in establishing my 91-year old mother’s eligibility for MassHealth benefits. In doing so, she conveyed an in-depth understanding of this tedious and complicated process. Throughout, Samantha was well organized, persistent and attentive to details, which if neglected, would cause delays. My mother’s eligibility also involved my father’s financial situation. Samantha was able to clearly explain what needed to be done and why. Because of her efforts, MassHealth provided a quick, positive response. As important, Samantha was always accessible, kept us informed and was responsive to questions we had.

Effective, practical, honest, knowledgeable, and committed are the words I would use to best describe Attorney Ronald Dardeno of the Law offices of Frank Dardeno in Somerville MA. His overall strength, dedication to the cause and hi willingness to go above and beyond whenever necessary made for an exceptional experience. Last year I was forced to seek legal guidance during a very difficult and strenuous time in my life. After asking around for a good lawyer, a dear friend of mine suggested I contact Ron even if it was simply just to speak. Often times, attorneys can be very condescending but I found Ron to be extremely approachable and "real". He came very highly recommended and looking back now it is easy to see why. If you or someone you know is in need of legal advice and/or council, look no further. Ron's diligence, accuracy and his ability to constantly remember the human part of what I was going through made all the difference in the world. My wife and I retained David as our attorney for a real estate transaction (our first home purchase). We are completely satisfied with David's work. David was entirely professional, very personable, and kept us updated throughout the process, which we knew virtually nothing about. We could not have expected a better attorney to represent us. We contacted David at the recommendation of our real estate agent. After speaking with David, we did not even bother to contact other attorneys. As we moved through the process, David kept us updated on what was happening and what was coming up, even through slow periods. He provided good insight into how the lending and closing process would go. We are from out of town, so when we finally met David on closing day, we were completely comfortable with him. He did a great job on closing day. He was very clear explaining the purpose of each document we signed during closing and how the rest of the closing would go.

I changed lawyers when I decided to go with Stephanie Perini-Hegarty. After seeing how well she explained things when I attended a conference that she spoke at, I felt I needed to have the CEO of my company meet her. I thought that it would be a hardsell to get him to change from having his attorney who was already in place and use Stephanie . However, I thought that it would be worth the try given that she has a natural act for making things that are complicated, simple for clients to understand, as opposed to how confused I felt when the previous attorney explained things and that is if the previous attorney was available. My CEO and my entire U.S. team met with Stephainie and I have to say that it was her competence along with her patience and fairness in compensation that grounded our decision to hire her for our international company. Now , we have used her for quite some time, and she has never changed in her availability and professionalism. I wish her the best of health and hope that she stays with us for the long term.

Nancy Parchesky of Personal College Advising would like to thank Jen Taddeo of Doherty, Ciechanowski, Dugan & Cannon, P.S., for helping her boys with their health proxys. Parents need to be aware of the law concerning their children eighteen and over (especially those who have a child going away to college): once a child is 18 hospitals do not need to include the Parent's wishes in the decision making process. Jen is running a special program just for this situation, and I, for one, sleep better knowing my boys decisions will not be left to the insurance company. My children, also feel better knowing they have a lawyer they know and can contact if need be.

My wife and I had put off doing any estate planning for a long time. In fact it was the only open item in our financial plan. Part of the issue was that my wife and I were being a bit irrational and just wanted to avoid the topic. Jen made the process easy and painless, and a little fun. My wife, Jen and I laughed our way through the process. Jen's pre-first meeting checklist and final meeting "flowchart" made us feel extremely comfortable that everything that was supposed to be covered was and that we understood all the contingencies. As we left the final (signing) meeting, my wife said to me, "she's really good and make this stuff easy and comfortable, you should refer her to everyone you know". So, I will do that as well as endorse Jen wholeheartedly here in a public forum.

Claire helped me negotiate a lease in the North End with my current landlord who was represented by a difficult broker. Claire was able to convince the landlord to incorporate terms my roommate and I were looking for, and do so in a cost effective manner. Attorney McClintock helped my husband and me purchase our first home - a very daunting process! As first time home buyers, we had many questions and Claire was always available by email and phone to answer even the smallest question.
