Staff has a high turnover rate, making things difficult to get done. They take on more cases than they can handle. DO NOT recommend for Family Law, attorney admittedly stated that's not where their money comes from. This attorney went MIA resulting in my divorce being filed without my knowledge, with glaring errors.

Hugh's the man when it comes to criminal cases! I got a DUI back in July and this was my first time ever in trouble with the law. I decided to go with Hugh immediately after our consultation. He managed to get 2/3 of the charges dropped while reducing my DUI from enhanced to regular. He also kept me cool and level headed during a very stressful few months. Anytime I called he always had answers or results to show how my case was going. He got me the best deal you could ever imagine and I couldn't have been happier with him! If I ever have another problem or know someone who needs a lawyer, I'm calling Hugh ASAP! He knows the system in and out. As long as he's practicing he's my "permanent" attorney!

I was charged with Conspiracy to Traffic Cocaine in excess of 400grams that carries a 15years minimum and 50k fine if found guilty. It was an interesting set of circumstances but through everything, Hugh did a wonderful job keeping me informed on what his strategy was and executing his plan just as he said he would. I ended up only getting 2.5yrs probation and adjudication withheld on a lesser* F3 charge. I highly recommend Hugh McDonnell.

This is in regards to a slip and fall accident I had on September 23, 2013. This slip and fall caused injury to my left knee and middle of my back.
Because of this slip and fall I had a meniscus tear, strained ligament and plica problem with my left knee, a bulge in one of my discs in my back.
Because of this I had to undergo months of physical therapy, ended up having left knee surgery and then continuing physical therapy for another couple of months.
I hired Moody Law firm in order for them to assist me with getting my medical bills paid etc..
I cannot thank them enough for their assistance during this horrible time in my life, from the very beginning until the close of this case they were extremely helpful, kind and considerate of the situation.
Mr. Spurgin (who is one of the lawyers with Moody Law) was not only very professional and knowledgeable in these matters; but was extremely kind and understanding in all aspects of this situation.
His legal staff were exceptional, there was never a time I could not reach them with any questions, concerns I may have had during this case.
They answered every question and concern I had, whether it was a simple one to a difficult one. I always received the utmost care, concern and felt as if I were the only case they had.
Never once did I feel as if they did not care, or I was just a “number”. This law firm is exceptional in the way they handle each individual person.
They show the utmost care, understanding and definitely go above and beyond their duties as personal injury lawyers.
I will be forever indebted to them, because not only did they solve my case; but they stood by me every step of the way through-out the legal process, explaining every step, or question I may have had through-out this ordeal.
They never once looked upon any of my questions, concerns as minor and replied back to me immediately.
It was a stressful time for me having to experience a slip and fall injury, but they truly made the process easier due to their care, concern and regard of not just the injury itself; but of me as a person.
Whilst I was experiencing this injury to include the pain, the inability to be able to function normally because of it and all the physical therapy, surgery it entailed. But during this time my sister was diagnosed with cancer, and ultimately died from it.
So, not only were they very supportive of my personal injury, they were extremely supportive of what I was going through whilst trying to cope with my sister’s illness and ultimate death.
I most certainly was blessed having them on “my side” so to speak, and will be (as I stated before) eternally grateful to all of them, they really do go above and beyond and are an exceptional law

Finally he told the truth very truth what he could and what he could not. referred me to other of his colleagues in good standings. I have not yet decided how I will proceed. In all means He is the man I would like to be with. I would recommend any any one. this fine Honest Lawyer.

i recently given several tickets that were written up weeks before they were given to me and was never notified until the officer literally yanked me out of nowhere at my school in front of everyone to literally drag me to the office mind you taking me away from learning to hand me several very cruel traffic violations from weeks prior apparently I have committed I said it was not me where’s his proof and why give them weeks later did not even read me my rights before talking to me or handing me the tickets his face lit up red embarrassed that a 16 yo are asking these questions he told his partner to “watch” me so I won’t “run” and he embarrassingly ran to his car and did his job correctly at this point he is pissed because I embarrassed him in front of his buddy and he’s just a pissy guy. Anyways he comes bad dose it again and talks to me like a 5yo who dose not want to read a book out loud to his partners and then hits me with the following tickets
Reckless driving
Operate motorcycle wo license
Fail to register motor vehicle
And just for his enjoyment I’m guessing
No headgear
No eyes protect
Nice right this lawyer cost a 16yo $1800 did not get all tickets cleared I got another $600 ticket for wreckless driving mind you the cop never went to court nor had proof of what I did he said he seen it witch is a lie I had proof for where and what I was doing the day he wrote me up with witnesses. on every ticket the info he put down was wrong looks like he was rushing trying to get a few bucks who knows I wish but I’m broke now super broke with little to no savings as to I sent it all on this guy plus more tickets to keep me out of juvenile smh. Btw I don’t think murcery makes bronze dirt bikes could not afford one anyways I have no clue why he chose or picked me I have only seen this cop one previous time because he was doing this same junk to another kid and I was saying he did not do it the little piggy is just trying to ruin young kids lives I literally only gave the cop my name crazy he dose not even know me and accuses me of something I would never do and how he got my birthday and license number is beyond me some shady stuff going on here

Hired Rick and nothing was done. FIRST round custody case he advised he has a partner lawyer that if hired judges could not take the case due to them handling the judges divorce and forsure would get another judge as supposedly the judge was byast against fathers. That is a lie judge denied removal and then Rick advised case was over nothing they can due not even a court date just a file submission knowing it gets denied and chatged 10k because him and his friend would be a team. come to find out. It had happened to them before and they know it doesn't work. They advise it to take your money.
Second time with Rick. Hired to file share custody. Took payment blamed covid for the reason we couldn't get a court date. Court offices advise that was a lie as they where having virtual court. That is in 2020 and 2021 and 2022 used excuse of being sick and never available. Had two meetings in 3 years and both times same line of Need the same documents nothing done. Trying to contact no answer. Come to find out by the court he removed himself from my case with out any notice or contact advising me. Lied and charged over $15,000 between both rounds.
This has been a horrible experience I regards to having a lawyer.

I hired Mr. Littman to help me with a motorcycle case. Other attorneys who specialized in motorcycle cases told me I did not have a case and would not represent me. Mr. Littman took my case, fought hard for me and I received the policy limits on the case. Final Judgment "Mark" and Do not retain this lawyer "anonymous" make absolutely no sense and they are one in the same person. (Try not to use the same "legwork" analogy in two supposedly real and separate reviews. A dead give away) Anyone that truly knows Mr. Russo or has been represented by Mr. Russo realize the absurdity of "Mark/John" who is probably someone Mr. Russo refused to take their case because they were bogus or unethical.

As of today, I was told I’d get personal documents within 10 days or at their discretion. Mr. McGrath has threatened to sue me if the AVVO isn’t removed relating to his partner Brad Gibson. He won’t scare me like my ex husband.
Brad took a $10,000 retainer from me for Family Law. Very poor communication, constant cancellations of meetings and failing to update on dates promised.
Not one thing he said would happen, even a simple adjustment of the original answer, happened after months. He used a bankruptcy attorney who isn’t licensed in Florida to “assist” with my very personal case.
Once I fired him he offered a “courtesy” refund of what was left of my $10k retainer.
If you want an attorney who wants to work for you only if he wins a personal accident injury case so he can be paid on the back end, that’s on you.
I do not recommend this law firm whatsoever.

I'm thankful for them they took my case when no one else would.
I had been on ssdi and last year ssdi cut me off after spending months going back and forth asking me to submit updated info. In the end they cut me off saying they didn't get any updated info from my Dr's. I asked my Dr and was told ssdi never requested anything from them. So I got on the phone called about a dozen law offices. The other said they o ly delta with initially getting it then I found this offce explained everything to a clerk who said they felt i had a good case but have to verify with their lawyer and would call me back. A few minutes later he was back with me getting all the details. They filed the appeal for me and did the contact with the ssdi department even kept my insurance why I was going through the process. No mind you I did have to pay for it but in the end I got the funds from them back when they gave me my ssdi back. At 60 years oul and unable to work and being 100% disabled veteran if they hadn't helped i figure i probably wouldn't have got it back this quickly if at all. They do tell you upfront that it could take about a year and a half or more so I'm pleasantly surprised that from the time I contacted them in June last year because my June payment was going to be ly last but ofcorse I didn't think about the fact you get June payment in July. So from July till first week of February . I'm very impressed.
The staff was always friendly. I never had to go into their office I did everything through phone, mail and email.
The only reason for a 4 was I still had to fill out all the paperwork for ssdi myself. When I initially got it the place that was helping me even did the paperwork for me. So that's kind of what I expected. I'm not great with filling out paperwork lol
If I contacted them they were always prompt with a response.
If I ever have a reason for a lawyer office again and it's something they handle they will have my business.

My experience with Avard , Micheal Sexton, my attorney is more than disappointing. I am well aware of the process for disability claims for I represented myself for 2 years. After being denied, I was referred to them. The lack of communication is unacceptable. I was a client for over 3 years. I wasn’t made aware of all of my responsibilities to obtain medical records until the last 3 months before my trial. A lot of the information they had in my file was completely incorrect. My age at the time was incorrect. They had no clue I was a widow of 9 years, which also falls into other disability categories. My medical conditions were stated incorrect. I was also sent to a Physician that stated my conditions incorrect. Had I had been informed to gather all of my medical and mental health records prior to 3 months of my trial, I would have done so. A major car accident lead to some of my disabilities. Those records were destroyed because it had been 10 years, 2 months prior to my trial. I am unable to support myself due to multiple conditions. The back and forth of Disability and SSI has left me with nothing. I will never recommend this Law firm and will definitely let everyone know how insufficient they are with their communication. How they do not even see you as a person till deadline and then have it all wrong! One of my statements from the Judge quotes ”client claims to have Hyper Mobility disorder due to a vehicle accident in 2014.” That is the most ridiculous statement I have ever heard of. My Hyper Mobility issue is a birth defect. It has nothing to do with the accident, nor the titanium that has rebuilt my shattered right foot, or my spine and neck issues. What a load of crap!! I am now left pocket change and a very small amount to live on. This is absurd and I will tell Everyone how ridiculous this law firm is. I am not the first to be disappointed and I surely won’t be the last. I hope they enjoy taking money from the people who actually need it! Good Riddance!!!!

I was a victim in an automobile accident a few yrs ago. Attorney Citron handled the case for me, and got me a settlement from Geico. In the last two years since then I have spoken with clients and friends who are attorneys and I have reviewed with them the circumstances of my accident case. Several of these attorneys have complimented Howard Citron, saying that they would not have gotten as much for me if they had handled the negotiations with Geico instead of Howard. As a fellow South Florida lawyer, there is only a small list of lawyers that I would trust to refer clients to, and Howard's is at the very top of the list. I DO NOT recommend you work with this law firm, they are complete BS and will waste your time and money to accomplish absolutely nothing. Hired them to defend against a scam artist landlord trying to sue over excessive claims of damage to his property after the lease ended. I provided more than enough evidence to defend against these frivolous claims and cooperated the entire time. Mathew and his team allowed this law suit to drag on for YEARS, consistently sending invoice after invoice and billing me for services rendered. Communication was poor the entire time and after two years of paying them come to find out they accomplished absolutely nothing the entire two years, allowing this landlord and his attorneys to keep delaying the lawsuit and would create excuses as to why the court dates kept getting extended. Save your time and money and DO NOT hire this firm!

I received a consultation from Matthew to discuss an exorbitant fee the property management company of my duplex charged me for sending over a plumber to fix the hot water, which suddenly stopped working 8 months into the lease. Prior to signing my lease, the company sent me a list of utilities that I was responsible for setting up accounts with; however, they failed to include that the hot water was gas and that I would need to set up an account. I even had to send them a confirmation before moving in of all the active utility accounts I set up. It was their mistake that they didn't include this one utility and failed to inform me that it was my responsibility. Matthew looked over my lease, reached out to the company, and was able to extinguish the fee. He was quick to be helpful and showed me fast results. I recommend using his services.

After my case was closed and settled I began to get letters and medical bills from facilities and physicians that SHOULD HAVE BEEN paid prior to the closing settlement. I contacted Kayla multiple times and nothing was ever done to assist me in this matter. I attempted to contact Mr. Beckman via phone and was never allowed to speak with him. I continued to attempt to contact this firm, but since I live halfway across the country I am unable to show up in person and get any help. I have had nothing but empty promises and dismissive attitudes from staff. When nobody ever got back to me regarding my NUMEROUS ATTEMPTS by email and phone I continued to call and eventually was just 'disconnected".
I would not recommend this law firm to anyone under any circumstance.

Absolutely incredible representation for my motorcycle crash!! Let me tell you from experience, the crash hurt me physically but the insurance company did the damage. Litigation is a psychologically traumatizing process that digs into your private life and exploits your fears and weaknesses.
