TLDR; Martin Litmaer is an excellent attorney who will look for creative ways and fight for your rights to resolve your situation. Hes compassionate, and sees you as a person and not just another case number. His fees are also extremely reasonable give how stressful, disasterous and damaging (financially, mental health, etc.) legal issues can be to one's life, and he understands this. Together we fought a felony charge over the span of 1 year which resulted in the charges being dropped and case dismissed. More below:
I little over a year ago, I received a call from the LAPD notifying me that I was being charged with a felony (for a crime I didn't even commit, it just happened that the law had recently changed without my knowledge and I was found out of compliance).
Prior to consulting Martin, i had a brief interaction with a public defender (AKA public pretender), who was completely unhelpful. I was then referred to Martin through family. After our consultation I immediately hired Martin. He consulted me on the legal process, and together we went to the courthouse to "turn myself in" and clear the warrant (because, I wasn't actually arrested committing a crime). Martin convinced the judge to release me without bail (saving me $4k bail bond fees on an originally set $40k bail). Over the next year, we had a dozen court dates together and multiple phone calls and texts, devising a strategy to resolve this (what I call it, an injustice). Ultimately, after pivoting a couple times and trying a couple strategies, we found one that sticked, worked on that together and the case was dismissed.

It has been a long road for me for the past 5 years on probation. It was really tough, but with the help and expertise of Dan Greene I was able to survive and successfully completed my probation on May 10, 2020. He did an EXCEPTIONAL and PHENOMENAL job from start to finish. Dan cleared the pathway and guided me properly all the way till the end. He saved me from all my miseries especially with my immigration status as permanent resident that I could be facing deportation if not for Dan. It was really remarkable and turning point in my life and my family. He gave me life and freedom. June 6, 2020 I received an email from Dan informing me that he already filed the petition for dismissal of my case on June 3, 2020. I was so pleased and very happy about it that I did not even have to follow up with him. Everything was just automatic for Dan without me reminding him of anything. Hopefully you are lucky enough to secure Nick as your defense attorney. When I first reached out to him I was a bit of a hot mess. Not sure what to do with my case, Nick took the time to listen. If I could leave a negative review, I absolutely would. My experience with Sharman and her team has been deeply disappointing. Despite being entrusted with my case for nearly a year, no meaningful progress was made, and the situation was made worse due to her lack of preparation and attention to detail.
Sharman clearly never took the time to study my case, which became evident through her repeated oversights and lack of understanding of critical details. Her inaction and carelessness have left me and my family in over $20,000 of debt. Worse, when I retained a new attorney, they discovered that critical documents—like the initial dissolution petition—were missing from the case file Sharman’s team provided.
The contrast between my new attorney and Sharman’s approach is stark. My new attorney is working diligently to fix the damage caused, and the difference is night and day. Sharman’s lack of care and effort has turned my case against me, which no client should have to endure.
I share this review not out of anger but to inform others of my experience. Single parents and vulnerable families deserve better than to be taken advantage of. Please do your research before retaining this attorney or firm.

Mr. Mor has been a very helpful and generous soul this weekend. I am currently on unemployment and my unscrupulous former employers decided to challenge my approved claim. Mr. Mor was a cold call and he informed me I did not need to hire him and he spent about 40 minutes counseling me why and explaining some tips. He then had me send over a 40 page document involving the case and gave me another complimentary consultation regarding his thoughts. WHAT LAWYER IN THE WORLD WOULD DO THIS ALL FOR FREE? He was a bumbling incompetent attorney and I got what I paid for - bargain basement. If you have zero issues he may fumble his way through your case. Anything complex and it’s over his head and he’s out lawyered. I got a call from his assistant on another post I made asking what they can do before responding. Not only is he incompetent- he’s keen to blame everyone but himself and his poor skills. Lots of other attorneys to pick from. Don’t waste your time and money with this guy who can’t add up basic numbers.

Our eviction case pushed Curt & his co-counsel team to their limits in every way, & they pulled through w/ flying colors. Our case, while practically over in our favor, instead of being a normally 1 month long UD, still lingers on after ~8 months not because of Curt, but because our opponent was ruled to be one of the most mean/obstructive Landlord attorneys out there, w/ over 20 years experience, & have an endless dirty playbook they launch against tenants which puts them at the top of the list of infamous, notorious Landlord attorneys- they are also a high volume Landlord side firm w/ HUGE resources & they do everything possible to bury & overwhelm their opponent, to run up costs & force missed response deadlines. For the first 4 mo, just to keep up w/ them, Curt had to dedicate his complete resources to our case (virtually shutting down his legal practice). Curt was able to get each of their mean legal tactic stricken down, & then, icing on the cake, got the judge to slap them w/ one of the largest (if not the largest) sanctions (penalties, like contempt of court) ever for their mean/obstructive behavior. Judges almost never give much sanctions, so Curt (& team) winning us that monster one was no small feat.
I was present at many of his most important court motion hearings in our case, and closely read through the endless court hearing and deposition transcripts, digesting his responses, counter arguments, & lines of questioning. I could go on endlessly about all the twists & turns that he had to overcome, but suffice it to say that given our case has pushed all the boundaries of UD law/process, he has demonstrated himself to me to be an extremely competent, legally knowledgeable, adept, tenacious, & caring lawyer (& person). He has great instincts w/ the SF civil Judges, depositions, and real-time litigation strategy. W/ Judges, he’s actually very respectful, takes allot of abuse, rides the line to stay on their good side and builds a solid history and rapport. In depos, he’s got amazing instincts.
His instincts to discover criminal/foul play in physical evidence were also very impressive. I was also amazed at how he can dig into and own all the endless facts of our extremely complex case. Most all other attorneys would just gloss it over, and ignore/miss key (even hidden) evidence.
He also great on client communications stuff, and is very open to client input & guidance when helpful, yet is always polite and frank when it is not. He is extremely respectful, and has almost zero ego/elitist trips of most lawyers. No games or angles… he’s a strait shooter!
He knows his court procedure pretty well, and is a tenacious fighter. When it comes to fighting the most notorious landlord firms, he only takes clients that are willing (and able) to go all the way to jury trial, and we wanted a firm that had effectively scrapped w/ them before, and could handle jury trial. I had interviewed literally dozens of top notch attorneys (most billing $300 - $450/hr, and many were obvious rip offs, looking to take as much $ as possible, and don’t care about results), and even the most experienced in SF UD cases (e.g., 15-20+ yrs exp) had only gone to jury trial once, and the rest had no jury trial experience, just doing some bench trials, which is no good for the bogus nuisance UD case maliciously slapped on us. He has close co-counsel associates who fill in gaps where his is practice not as strong. In our case, he teamed up w/ Marc Branco to shore up UD law practice. So, that combined w/ his jury trial experience (and their hunger to kick their butt), is what sold me on their ‘dynamic duo’ to go up against them. His criminal law experience was very pertinent to our very (fact driven) nuisance UD case, and he’s adept at picking apart (hostile) witnesses an triangulating to converge on favorable facts to the case.
So, in sum, I can vouch that Curt (& team) are very competent re UD legal practice, highly ethical, they get results.

I contacted Jacob after the salesman who sold me my car at my local Mercedes-Benz dealership recommended that I contact a lemon law attorney. My 2023 Mercedes AMG C43 gave me nothing but trouble: the check engine light came on very frequently, and my car was in the shop every other month. Most recently, the car had been in for a full four weeks (28 days exactly) after having to be towed. I received no updates from the dealership during that one-month period. Furthermore, every time the car went in for extra service, I had to fight the dealership for a loaner car, which was highly stressful and angering. To make matters worse, I had opted for a C43 after briefly driving an EQS 580 I strongly disliked that I had received as a result of an error that Mercedes made when I had actually ordered a different car that had arrived in the wrong interior color. So I was massively overpaying for a faulty C-class vehicle, adding insult to injury.
Jacob told me he was confident that by sending a demand letter to Mercedes, he could get me out of my overpriced C43 lease, but he didn't think I would recover much additional money. To our delight, I not only got out of my lease but was reimbursed for all of my lease payments. I was able to put some of that money toward an electric BMW that I am now leasing for a small fraction of what I was overpaying for the lemon Mercedes.
Jacob was highly responsive to emails and texts, and it was easy to get a hold of staff at his office. His employees were friendly and attentive, and the process was very streamlined, making things easy for me. I never had to go to the office in-person. I am incredibly grateful to Jacob and his staff for helping to make things right for me. I would highly recommend Jacob and his team to others looking for a fair resolution to lemon vehicle woes.

Hiring John to defend me in my case was the best thing I could have done. John is a true professional through and through. He is hard working, diligent, tenacious, and extremely knowledgeable. He is a straight shooter, and very focused, and keeps his clients informed at all times as to the goings on involving their case, no matter how small the detail may be.
John and his amazing defense team represented me in a sexual case where I was falsely accused, and was facing multiple charges that would have resulted in possible life sentences. My case dragged on for 3+ years in part, due to the closure of the court system due to the pandemic, and John stood by me every step of the way. Throughout the entire ordeal, John worked on my case with true professionalism, and always kept me updated as to what was happening, and what was the next step we would be facing as the proceedings continued. Knowing the severity of the accusations I was facing, John also acknowledged my fears and anxieties throughout the case, and displayed a very compassionate side as well by always encouraging me to stay strong.
As the prosecution continued to try different tactics ( ie...attempting to raise my bail, adding charges ), John always had answers that negated all of their attempts. John and his team responded to every "curveball" the prosecution threw at them in a timely and professional manner.
Ultimately, a plea was offered for a much lesser charge, and we agreed, as this would be absolutely the best possible outcome to what were the original charges. Although I didn't receive the full exoneration I had hoped for, I owe my freedom an my life to John Forsyth.
To anyone who is facing criminal charges of any kind, I highly recommend you look no further than John Forsyth. He is amazing, and between him and his team of professionals, I personally can not imagine you would find anyone better than John.

My application for naturalization was denied due to three criminal cases dating back to 1996 and 2002. After consulting with six different attorneys, one of them recommended Karl Krooth. After doing my own research on Mr. Krooth, I scheduled a consultation with him. Mr. Krooth's expertise and knowledge of both criminal and immigration law were immediately evident from our first conversation. I hired Mr. Krooth and the results speak for themselves. The 1996 case was re-sentenced to eliminate the immigration consequences, one of the cases from 2002 was reduced to a misdemeanor and the other which had been an aggravated felony was dismissed. As of June 9th 2017 I am no longer a felon and I'm eligible to reapply for my citizenship. I highly recommend Mr. Krooth for any criminal or immigration related cases.

Ms. Qassim is a phenomenal attorney, I was facing 10+ years in federal prison, in the federal system cooperating with the government is a big thing and reduces sentences, which this is nothing that i would do. Ms. Qassim never once asked me to jeopardize my integrity to make her job easier ( Mad respect)!!! Once Ms Qassim knew that cooperating was not an option she prepared extremely creative motions and augured for for my freedom. I knew that it was going to be a very hard case and that jail time was emanate. Ms. Qassim spent hours with me going over discovery and showed passion and care! She was always available to speak with, returned calls immediately, very detailed, and made sure that i understood the whole process. During my sentencing she argued to get me the lowest of time on my plea agreement and she did it!!! I will say that she also never tried to just make me plea out, trial was always an option and she made sure that i knew the facts and she never comes sideways, always straight, nothing hidden. Ms Qassim is fierce, intelligent, creative, resourceful, and knows what she is doing. Thru Ms Qassim's hard work i ended up getting less than 4 years!!! I had a newborn that i would be able to actually be with him while he grows, thanks to Ms. Qassim. I know that there are fees for attorneys, I feel though deeply indebted to her because of how everything turned out. Also during my prison term Ms. Qassim checked in with me to make sure that i was being treated properly in the system and make sure i was staying in good spirits!! I came to miss Calvert last year, with a domestic violence charge, I had warrants for my arrest, a battery charge, a breaking a court order charge and a vandalism charge, I was scarred as hell! I actually found Miss Calvert on this website, I got in touch and within no time at all I was free of the warrants with no arrest..she then tackled the criminal charges, ( each of witch carried a year In jail, that's 3 years not to mention possible immigration consequences witch could follow ) the DA came back with a. Few pleas, but miss Calvert handled me and the situation swiftly, with skill, precision and a smile! She was able to get just a few anger management classes and the charge will go away, with no possibility a for immigration to then get there hands on me!
