Marjorie is an excellent attorney. I hired her to represent me in my divorce and she was able to assist me during the whole process, and helped me keep custody of my daughter, and pay reasonable alimony. Marjorie (Brunelli) DeCastro-Hirsch, Esq. from The Law Offices of DeCastro-Hirsch, P.A. is an amazing lawyer. She was recommended to us because she used to work for the banks, and she knew the tricks they used to screw people. So perhaps we expected too much from the start. She is very personable and likeable. But when we hired her for a foreclosure battle, she was the only person on her staff. She is overworked and underappreciated. That is a shame. I really thought she would fight harder, but the problem was the banks still used the tricks. When I started to ask questions and forgive me, ask for replies, well things went south. She was offended when I wanted to know what was going on with my case. And so my case was settled, the bank made an extra $3000 off me, and so did she. Lesson learned. She is a great attorney, just not a fit for us. She owed me paperwork in the end, and never replied to emails sent. But it is ok. The best thing I can say is that we wanted to hire her to handle another legal matter for us, we went to another law firm and we are happier.

If I could give Matthew and his team at Loan Lawyers team 1000 stars I would. If you're someone who like to nitpick for bad reviews, please do not do this with Loan Lawyers. They are truly best in their class in the work they do.
To summarize my situation, I was sued by a very litigious and notoriously scummy creditor for a sizable amount of money. As this was the first time I've ever been sued, I was incredibly nervous and expecting the worst. The thing is, these creditors hope that you stick your head in the sand and do nothing because then they're awarded the default judgement which is the full debt + court costs and fees. Then, with a judgement, they could garnish your wages and go after your money with a vengeance.
I opted to fight back and I chose Loan Lawyers as my counsel. I received tons of mailers of lawyers who said they'd settle or mediate my case to get maybe 60% of the debt negotiated down or help me file for bankruptcy, but Loan Lawyers was the only law office I spoke to who said they'd go on the offensive and get my case completely dismissed for a very reasonable fee. They cited the hundreds of other cases where they've achieved this outcome and I decided to bite the bullet and retain them after checking their reviews and being swayed by their confidence in the result.
This is one of those times where what was advertised wasn't too good to be true and they delivered on their promise. My case was completely dismissed with prejudice and the debt gone for good. This was my largest personal debt and for a legal fee a 10th of the amount of my debt, I had it completely erased. In that respect, this lawsuit actually turned out to be a blessing and I'm so incredibly grateful for Loan Lawyers in producing this result for me.

If you are looking for a lawyer that has her clients’ best interest at heart, then Elisabeth Hagood is the one you want. You should pick a lawyer who is well respected in the legal community, both Seminole and Orange County. People know HER and that is what is important, especially when it comes to prosecutors and Judges.
During my experience I trusted her completely. I felt like we were truly partners and she never left me hanging. She kept me updated on the case and responded promptly when contacted. Hagood was compassionate and patient, even when I was fed up with the legal system. Every time she walked into the courthouse she was composed, confident, and effective. The case went from possible jail time down to a Judicial warning. They offered a $50 fine. Hagood refused and got it down to the warning. She was worth every penny. Her fees were extremely reasonable, and she did the consultation for free. Give her a call and tell her your situation.
I normally do not write reviews, but I looked at a million before finding Elisbeth Hagood. In the past I have dealt with lawyers who do not really care and just want your money. The only way to know the difference is to hear the experiences of others.

I purchased an investment property in Ft Myers 2005. With the banks approval I tried to short sell the property, upon receipt of a sale they couldn't find who actually held the mortgage. I defaulted in 2009. In 2013 the PMI company initiated a proceeding via several different law/collection agencies. Mr.. Gregory Champeau, esq. defended me as they had also decided to seek financial reimbursement from my wife who wasn't legally part of the transaction. He was successful in that the judgement would only apply to me. My assets were all TBE (except for one) which prevented collection. In 2019 the collections agency became more aggressive, Patrick Neale, esq, was brought in as his expertise in addressing various attempted garnishments and his litigation skills were needed to address various court hearings initiated by the collections agency. It was discovered that an investment account me and my wife opened in 2005 was set up as Joint Ownership with Survivor Benefits. Unbeknownst to me a JWROS account is not afforded the same level of protection as a TBE account. Mr Neale was able to draw upon case law and present it in a fashion that helped to bring closure. The end result is that with Patrick Neale's legal expertise and Mr Gregory Champeau negotiations skills I did agree upon a favorable settlement. The only other option was to be continuously harassed by the collections agency for years to come.

I hired Attorney Feldman in Dec. 2017 to help with with a unique and sensitive rental property dispute. The whole situation was extremely stressful for me (especially around the holidays) but Attorney Feldman kept his cool, managed a very tense and adversarial dispute between me and the other party, and ultimately got me the desired result (refund) within a matter of approximately one week. He even responded to some of my emails after hours around the holidays when I wasn’t expecting it (I was amazed). Atty. Feldman, if you’re seeing this, thank you so much for everything you did to help bring my matter to a positive end result. You were immensely helpful when I was pulling my hair out...lol. Next time I sign any lease I’m going to hire you to at least give it a once over and advise me accordingly-it would totally be worth it to avoid future rental debacles.

I received Mr. Feldman's name after contacting ACAP. I called ACAP because I felt suspicious of the lawyer I hired as my personal representative attorney who was one in the same my dad hired to do his will.
I hired Robert to assist me after our initial telephone consultation. I gave him may areas in which I needed clarification and promised my speed to get through the probate process.
My brother subsequently hired Robert for a real estate closing.
Robert educated me on the various steps of probate, answered layperson questions and was quick to respond to calls and emails.

Without hesitation I give my highest recommendation to Bruce Jacobs, my attorney since December 2014.

I have been trying to keep my home for nearly four years. I have paid thousands for legal "expertise" NEEDING representation like a trauma victim needs a surgeon.
I am not an attorney. But I do know how to read . Two weeks ago, I happened to review my court docket. My case had been set for TRIAL. The attorney I had hired and already paid $$$$ monthly was clueless. I was just another case to him.
I was dangerously close to trial without an attorney I had faith in. I interviewed 3 more attorneys. Not impressed. I thought of a different approach.
I personally went to observe foreclosure trials scheduled before a random judge. Random attorneys. Very depressing watching failure in motion with so much at stake for the clients they represented.
I do not claim to have an informed legal basis for my judgement. I do not know the "standard of care" for lawyers. I can recognize glaring lack of preparation, legal knowledge with no evidence of "zealous advocacy" for clients rights.
Then I saw an attorney who actually clearly articulated his clients rights and facts of his defense. His partner was just as sharp. The bank's attorney was no match. These guys WON the case. I stayed longer. He had another case. The bank wanted to postpone the case. Judge said " NO. Trial NOW ". If I could read minds, I would of heard "Bring it on ". They again prevailed. Case dismissed. Two families didn't loose their homes that day. I followed him and his team out of the courthouse.
The lawyer was Bruce Jacobs. His partner Court Keeley. Two days later, I went for the free consultation. I met with the firms FOUR attorneys who ravenously examined my mortgage /documents looking for merits for my defense. They spent FOUR hours with me. Thank you Bruce, Court, Monica and Abby.
Mr. Jacobs and his team took over my case two days before my foreclosure trial. They went ready to go to trial. I could have lost my home that day. I did not.
My case is not over. But this isn't just a case. It is my home, my children's home , my families financial security. I believe Mr Jacob's and his team get it. I am impressed with FOUR LAWYERS . Someone has contacted me almost every day. At night. Over the weekend.
It's personal and they are fighting for my family.
I am beginning to exhale.

With that said, so far, I am favorably satisfied with Mr. David's character and demeanor; he seems personable to speak with and his responses to my questions indicate a sense of patience and respect (perhaps owing to a minor glitch in timing relative to our meeting) in verbal dialogue (with me, at least). His manner of conversation put me at ease and conveyed a sense of integrity regarding his conduct of business and concern to understand my needs and situation. I do not have enough experience with Mr. David to state much more at this point. I feel relatively secure in asking for his help to attend a (foreclosure) mediation meeting with me; it has yet to take place.

Steven Jonas lied to me repeatedly when handling a case of my mother's estate. A Wells Fargo employee stole a significant amount of money from her. The employee was found guilty and sent to jail. I never recovered all the money stolen because Jonas lied to Wells Fargo and to me. It was astonishing how badly he misrepresented the situation. He did not tell me that his partner, who I considered my lawyer, has left the firm. He told me the partner was too busy and he was handling it. He did not file the proper paperwork to close the estate. He did not tell the bank that my mother had died. When I went to obtain other legal representation he would not send them the files. It was a disaster. My mother died in unnecessary emotional pain and confusion due to his mishandling of the suit.
