I've used Mr Barnes for 2 legal issues with two different manufacturers. In both cases they were settled and handled in my favor with a lot of due diligence by Mr Barnes. One of them lasted almost a year and Mr Barnes never wavered from his position in representing me. God willing, I hope it doesn't happen again, but if it happens at third time you'll be my first call! I have referred him several times as well! My friend t referred me to Jacob and I contacted him about my case involving a road rage incident, he quickly wrote up a retainer, we gathered the evidence including a video of the accident and it was pretty open and shut. He did everything he could to get my wife and I the most out of the settlement he even sent me a no strings attached advance when I came on hard times because work dried up for me as a result of not being able to work a while because of my injuries. I couldn’t see myself ever going to another accident attorney and anytime I hear anyone with a case that is legit I will send them Jacob’s way he really knocked my case out of the park and made me and my wife feel comfortable throughout the whole situation.

Unfortunately, I had suffered an injury caused by being on the wrong side of a car accident. I had been looking around at major firms to represent me and was either met with automatic replies or days of waiting for a response. Brent Brehm is not just an excellent attorney but a fine human being. I have been a fortunate beneficiary of his brilliance, comprehensiveness and candor, all of which he glued together with his integrity and compassion.
I reached out to him for guidance having to do with a fluid employment situation and an even more fluid health situation. Brent patiently and thoroughly explained to me and my spouse the options available to us, the attendant risks and possible unknowns. Having those facts and variables spelled out clearly replaced our anxiety with clarity. He did not over-promise or pressure us one way or another, and instead set into context some complex legalese.
His ability to glean highly consequential details and spell out the possible impact is one of his finest qualities. I was searching for a licensed defense attorney in California that specialized specifically in defending nurses against accusations from BVNPT/BRN and came across Ray & Bishop, PLC through a google search. I read reviews that former clients have posted about their representation and also looked up their webpage online. I decided to take a leap of faith after reviewing their reviews, website, and blog and seeing the successful comments and how satisfied clients who were represented by Ray & Bishop, PLC. were. I was dealing with a criminal matter that was dismissed but later was picked up by BVNPT and was sent an accusation that my license was being investigated and that they wanted to discipline me based on these allegations. The process from when the incident occurred to posting an accusation was approximately 5 years. Long story short, I was assigned to Mr. John Bishop regarding my matter with the boards and he was attentive, knowledgeable, matter of fact, understanding, straight forward, and responsive in answering my never ending questions and concerns. He was genuinely concerned and was available via email and by phone. Even though he was busy he would return my emails/calls promptly. Luckily, my case did not have to go through an administrative hearing and after 5 months I received the most wonderful news I could have ever asked for “accusation withdrawn”
Words can’t express how grateful and relieved I am that this nightmare was finally resolved and I can finally move on. I received a discipline in another state and California immediately followed suit. During trial, I did my best in answering the prosecutor’s questions. Su represented me as my defense in an extremely difficult and high stakes 2.5-year case that ended in trial. Plaintiff, plaintiffs counsel and plaintiffs peers conspired to embellish and fabricate “new facts” for a favorable outcome and Su was able to expose Plaintiffs embellishments and craft an impressive argument around conduct and credibility that ultimately won over the jury with $0 granted to the plaintiff! On top of this, Su took my case extremely personally as if it was her being sued personally taking on a full office of plaintiffs counsel seemingly with ease. I would now consider a good friend and feel sorry for anyone with the misfortune of competing against her in the future.
