Generally, I am not a person that writes reviews. However, Mr. Stark is such an exceptional attorney, that I felt compelled to let others know.
Mr. Stark does not, (thankfully), fit the stereotypical attributes of most attorneys that I have encountered.
He is direct, honest and truly seems to care about the well being of this clients. He listens. He replies honestly and with very knowledgeable responses based on experience. He is not robotic and arrogant, as most attorneys that I have consulted with in the past.
He is very knowledgeable about licencing issues, so if you are in a health or medical related field and have licensing questions or concerns, he is the one to see, though he specializes in other areas as well.
Granted, may I add, he is also extremely humble, as he has a PhD and teaches Law and isl also is also a Judge. I found him to be quite generous with his time, and did not stare at his watch like many attorneys will do after a few minutes.
This attorney is not driven my money, rather by helping those in need of assistance. He also has a great sense of humor, which helps greatly when stressed!
I could not be happier about the outcome. Mr. Stark goes above and beyond to assist his clients. I am so glad to have consulted with him. Highly recommend!

So another lawyer didn't want to take my case so I was referred to Matt and Katie. All I can say is they are top notch professionals. They laid out what the expectations were from the very beginning. Every step of the way they were very communicative. Even when I was falling behind on my medical appointments they made sure to follow up and even offer an Uber once if I was having trouble making it to an appointment. I was sitting at a red light, waiting to turn left. Click click click went my turn signal. I had just left the gym and I was tired. And a big zoned out. All of a sudden there was a loud noise and my whole body rolled forward and down. At first I didn't realize what had happened. And then I looked in my rear view mirror and saw the reflection of my brake lights on the vehicle behind me. Which was far too close. At first it didn't make sense. Then I realized I had been rear-ended.
I got out of my car, got the driver's information, went home and my neck really started hurting. A friend had recommended Matt Clendenin so I called him. He told me to seek medical treatment right away and that he would take care of everything. It took a couple treatments, but I got my whiplash taken care of. Next I had my car evaluated and repaired. Matt was able to get everything covered - both my medical care and my car repairs with very little effort from me. I never had to appear in court.
If you have any kind of personal injury situation, I highly recommend Matt.

I came to meet Susan under the most stressful conditions one might ever come across; the mother of my children was killed in the Seal Beach Salon shootings three years ago, almost to the day of this review. Acknowledging that bad things happen every day; the pain and shock experienced by my children after the loss of their mother goes beyond what any parent should ever have to witness. Two years into this nightmare, it came to my attention that multiple parties, beyond direct family members of the victims involved, had filed wrongful death suits against the shooter; I knew the kids had a family member on their mothers side who had secured counsel to handle the kids mother's estate and represent the entire family in pursuing a wrongful death law suit but I began to wonder if my kids were being represented adequately. I reached out to a friend who suggested I contact Susan to see if she could look into my concerns. As it turned out, the decision to contact Susan on behalf of my children was one of the best things I ever could have done for them! Without discussion of fees or compensation or any conditions at all, once Susan heard the circumstances involved, she immediately offered her assistance. The first thing Susan did was to check the current court records in an effort to determine who had filed and on behalf of whom; I was shocked when she reported back that the kids were not named the pending suit. This was the children’s one and only mother and they were not even on the suit; this was a shock to me. The next shock was when Susan informed me that the kids only had 4 business days to file if they even wanted to file; this was a Thursday. The more Susan dug into the facts the more she reported something didn't seem right; her instincts were spot on. Susan pulled a quick attorney/client contract together, over the weekend, which empowered her to represent the kids and drove to our personal home on a Sunday to get everything in order, allowing her to file on the kids behalf the following Monday. Once she was able to file, two days before the statuette of limitations for filing expired, only then did she find out how close the kids were to being excluded completely from any right to negotiations that were already under way. This proceeding was not subjective and I don't know exactly what went on as I was not legally involved and had no right to know, which led to my worrying about what I could not effect. Susan was reassuring to me the entire way as she walked the kids through the legalities involved and prepared them for their day in court. As emotions raged on through this process Susan never wavered, she never let the clouded and highly emotional expressions of the kids deter her from her path of assuring those kids got what their mother would very much want for them; fairness. While I was never made aware of the actual numbers involved, I know they certainly weren’t life changing, but I do know my kids are a little better off than if Susan had not come into their lives. Even after the case was closed, Susan went above and well beyond what I would ever expect out of a lawyer and she will forever hold a special place in this father’s heart. Michael Quade and team are the only lawyers in San Diego you should be contacting if you have an insurance claim. Our home incurred major structural damage due to a fire in 2009. Our insurance company had a different take on the matter and refused to pay what we needed to make the repairs. Our litigation was a long process and we believe other attorneys would have told us to “give up” and move on. Not Mike. He was there every step of the way. And we had a good result. His team is incredibly thorough –not a detail was overlooked (which can easily happen with a big lawsuit). When it came time to prepare for trial, he did his homework and no stone was left unturned. Mike’s deposition technique is masterful and he was able to uncover many lies and subterfuges. There are many who will say that all lawyers are alike. My husband and I hired Robert Hoyt, "Bob" as our attorney on a friends recommendation to handle an accident case which involved my seventeen year old daughter being run into by another vehicle. My daughter lost her car as it was totaled when it was struck by a large SUV driven by someone completely at fault. Thankfully, my daughter came out of the wreck ok, but with
some back pain and personal trauma. Of course the other driver's insurance tried to claim that my daughter was equally to blame which was completely false. Mr. Hoyt carefully reviewed all the facts, visited the accident site, interviewed witnesses and started a tedious battle involving both of the parties insurance companies which ultimately resulted in a settlement large enough to replace my daughter's car and allowed monetary compensation for her pain and suffering.
