I was blown away at the level of service provided by Monika Zadori. I randomly came across the firm she works at, Block LLP, when I was having legal issues with a tenant of mine. After sitting five minutes with Vonya I new my case and life was about to change for the good. The main thing she did was listen and supported me and my family from the start. She was able to explain everything in detail which removed my anxiety and fear. She then took over and started fighting for me. Her sensitivity, patience’s, and professionalism is bar none. I was looking at ten years, with four felonie strikes. I ended up going to trial. My case ended with me receiving 58 days work released, and informal probation.

Carlos won our case for us when we were pushed out of our home by our landlord in San Francisco. A rent controlled home that I resided in for over 10 years starting in 2004. After numerous phone calls and hearing the word no from many attorney's I was recommended by a friend to try Mr. Sherman. I called his office and gave a brief statement to his secretary, and with in 15 minutes Mr. Sherman called me back, and I explained my situation, and he made an appointment to see me with in just a few days. I contacted Ray Lewis after my Mother died after a fall in rehabilitation center of which she was a patient. This was a very emotional time for me. Ray was very understanding and helpful. I had never been involved in any legal matter before my "slip and fall". I was so pleased that Ben was so compassionate, attentive, and knowledgeable.

I needed legal advice on how to negotiate a landlord and tenant dispute and a friend recommended Mr. Iles. I had heard that most attorneys charged a consultation fee, which made me hesitant in seeking advise. To my surprise, Mr. Iles not only helped me with my lease issue, but did so without charging me a consultation fee. Rare in this day and age, yet greatly appreciated. When I asked him why, his response was, "one kind act, begets another" and that I had helped him fulfil his pro bono requirement, whatever that meant.
If I ever have another legal issue to deal with, I will undoubtely give Mr. Iles a call.

I have personally known Ivan since Jr. High School. I have consulted with him off and on over the years regarding personal & business legal matters and he's always given me sound advice and made recommendations to me to follow through on legal matters, including lawsuits. Over 2 years ago, we were looking for a knowledgeable well informed lawyer for my dad who died of elder abuse. There are 6 of us siblings in the family and due to the size of our family we were not accepted so easily with some of the lawyers.
