I had a great experience working with The Accident Guys after being involved in a car accident on the Interstate 5 freeway. Do NOT Use this firm theyve scammed me upwards of $10,000 by collecting the money and have not done a single thing and they don’t communicate for months upon months read the other reviews as well. They do the same thing to others I was promised so much and they have not done a single thing. My lawyer didn’t even show up to my court date and said he sent somebody else. I have my life endangered and he was supposed to help me get a restraining order. It has been two months since he has gotten back to me. I have had Sean as my lawyer for a year and he has only lost me everything with no communication.

Grant Toeppen from Advance Planning prepared a trust for me and my wife. He was very professional and provided many key insights throughout the process. My wife previously worked as a paralegal at a different law firm and she was very pleased with Grant's knowledge on multiple subjects involved with our trust.
Grant was very responsive to all of our inquiries in a timely manner. He would typically respond the same day and definitely within 24 hours of receiving our question. He was always on time for our meetings and walked us through each page of the trust he prepared. He covered each section of the trust in detail and made notes of each request we made for changes. Grant prepared multiple iterations of the trust and walked us through each of the versions until we were satisfied with the exact wording.
Grant also transferred ownership on our property and updated the beneficiaries on our retirement accounts to our new trust.

She also did not inform me of many important things like not talking to the insurance claims adjuster who was representing the person that hit me. She did the minimal amount of work for me and did not seem to care at all for my well being. I wish I would have taken the advice of friends in the la area to seek out new representation. If you want a lawyer who is thorough and passionate about your needs do not go to Ms Gorin. Being very unreachable and only being able to communicate to her through her paralegal Karina was very unsettling as well.

I paid him $5000. Once he received the money he was MIA more often than not. His receptionist gave one excuse after another and would tell me that I had exceeded "talk time" provided by the retainer although my records indicated otherwise. On the few occasions that I was able to speak with him he claimed he had Covid or RSV. I later heard this was one of his standard excuses.

Michael Goldstein is by far the best lawyer i’ve ever had the pleasure to meet and beyond grateful he is representing my husband during this awful series of events. He was initially charged with 2 counts of premeditated attempted murder. Mr. Goldstein worked magic and allowed my husband the opportunity to obtain a plea bargain that included dismissing the more serious charges and entering a plea to one count of assault with a firearm, a non-violent offense which enabled him to serve only 50% time. Our time with Mr. Goldstein was all around a 10/10. From the beginning to the end. Every encounter with Mr. Goldstein calmed any nerves we had. He personally met with us and appeared at every single court hearing (most other lawyers send their not so inclined nor convincing representatives) and also personally visited the jail on multiple occasions to speak with and confirm the safety of my husband. SDPD wasn't giving up they wanted to take away my license, but Isaac wasn't giving up either. While other lawyers were telling me that I was going to lose my license and have some fines. SDPD set a court date and a DMV hearing, the DA didn't file on the first date and Isaac had the case dismissed the second time around. He also got me off on the DMV hearing, A very experienced lawyer that knows what he's doing, don't think twice about hiring Isaac very serious about his work and clients. I would definitely hire Isaac again; this could have affected me badly if I didn't hire Isaac.......

Then they called me back and said she was wrong and they do have a free initial consultation. They gathered all my info which took almost 30 minutes and said they will have an assistant call me not a attorney. They do charge for Attorney consultation. Definitely would not recommend using Judge Amy Pellman for mediation services. She was incredibly biased from the start and made an unprofessional comment within 10 minutes of the session starting. Should’ve ended it there instead of wasting an entire day making zero progress on any kind of settlement. She was only interested in assisting one side on their goals, and did not advocate for me on any points. She might’ve been a great judge but clearly needs some more experience in mediation, where the purpose is to try and reach an agreement between both parties- not decide who she thinks is right and pursue their interests only. We hired another mediator after this failed session and had immediate success with them.

Kevin Gordon is the most incompetent attorney. He did not answer my calls or emails. He did not pay attention to details in forms when filing with the city and documents were returned, then he did not follow through, but tell me that he was busy with something else. Even the opposing party threatened him with reporting him to the bar. He drafted a settlement that did not protect me as his client. At the end, he just told me to get another attorney. Wow. It is unfortunate that his practicing.

Very unhappy with the outcome of my case. It was handled unprofessionally. And l fought with the attorney the whole way. I had to file with the BAR twice. I hired Legacy and was told will take it to trial. During mediation l was told to settle today or l could lose everything, because they were not going to represent me in court. Then the attorney settled the case against my will. I was forced to settle for considerably less than the original trust stated.

We brought Ryan on after we were with another Attorney for over 2 months. During this time the previous Attorney didn't consult with our son at all in person. We hired this amazing Attorney Ryan Couzens AFTER he made an in person visit with our son. Yes he took the time to meet with and listen to our son prior to receiving retainer fee. Hired 9/22/24 for sentencing hearing on 10/3/24. Ryan knew more about the case than previous council and argued the case like he was representing his own son. He did what I think an Attorney should do (communicated) with us and our son the entire time. He took the pressure off. I just can't say enough.
