"We highly recommend that you speak with David L. Crockett before choosing an attorney for any estate or other legal matter.
The trust property we had to deal with had not been maintained and had fallen into severe disrepair. Everything from plumbing to electricity to the building exterior and plant overgrowth was on the list. We worked long hours trying to sort and clear years of clutter and accumulation, make repairs, keep up taxes utilities etc. We kept the records we thought were needed and useful in developing a plan for progress.

Our struggles dealing with the trust were steadily moving beyond our abilities to resolve; we realized that we definitely needed help. Also we ourselves, as time passed, were contributing to our need for resolution.

My Mother passed on December 25th 2020. Property was in a Family Trust in which one sibling still remained in the home and refused to leave. When all attorneys said no its too risky and they didnt want get involved with a Family Trust situation or failed to evict my sister during COVID Moratorium Cristi was the only that said yes I can do this. She is confident by nature, intelligent and courageous to say the least. She didn't just evict my Sister successfully but was our Families way of communicating because at this point the whole family wanted to contest my Father's Trust that was in effect for 25 years. As difficult as the situation became She remained calm but most of all compassionate for the loss of my Mother and the divided family we've became. She gave me peace of mind when all I could do is cry in what I thought was a hopeless situation. I could not pay her enough for the peace I have now; her work and dedication is simply priceless.

I'm a bay area real estate broker/agent. I've referred Carmen to a few of my clients. All of which would tell me she would never return their calls or they could never connect with her. Should have learned then but instead I decided I should give her a try myself for my estate planning documents especially since we had done some events together. Never did I think my estate planning documents would take over a year to complete.
I signed our engagement letter 6/3/22, the first payment link was sent to me on 6/4/22 (quick turnaround). I had an in-person meeting with her on 7/28/22 after rescheduling on my end a few times due to personal reasons. Soon after I provided all of my documents to her and we scheduled a follow up meeting for 9/22/22.
I didn’t hear anything back from her until 11/14/22, with another payment link for another service she provided. At that moment I inquired about finalizing my trust documents, her office told me they were going to mail them to me the following week. One month goes by and I inquire again on 12/6/22. She claims she is onboarding new team members and has been understaffed. On 12/20/22 I ask her if she was able to find an attorney out of state to put my properties in the trust. She claimed she did and that she would have the deeds ready the following week. January came and went and zero communication from her or her office. I inquired again on 2/3/23 - following up on the mobile notary to sign & finalize trust documents. Another person in her office responds back and I finally get a mobile notary scheduled for 2/9/23. I assumed this was it and I was just waiting around for my executed county stamped documents to get mailed back to me. Well June comes around and I still haven’t received anything back. I inquire again on 6/6/23. She says she is checking with her assistant. No communication again until I inquire again on 6/27/23. One property was finally taken care of and confirmed received by the county on 7/11/23. The other property was finally taken care of in late Sept 2023.
My frustration is the lack of customer service/communication. I understand small businesses tend to get understaffed or are going through business changes but if my services are paid for and I have to constantly be contacting you for an update and most of the time you don’t respond, then there is something wrong! This tells me this business doesn’t value its clients. Posting this review now in case this will help others determine whether to use her services or not. I also know other small businesses that have used her & have had a similar or worser experience so that tells me I’m not the only one.

In November of 2023, my brother passed away. It was the saddest time for my family. We were overwhelmed with grief. My brother did not have a will. We knew we needed legal assistance in sorting out my brother’s estate. In the summer of 2025, I took a chance and emailed the Talbot Law Group and briefly described our situation. I was not expecting an immediate response but Elizabeth Talbot from the firm promptly responded to my inquiry. I had a very pleasant conversation with Elizabeth. She spoke to one of the Partners at the firm on our behalf. Our case was assigned to Emily Nashban. My sister and I met with Emily virtually. Emily understood our situation, explained all the options available to us, answered all our questions and at the same time kept our expectations real. Once Emily took over our case, she meticulously managed all the necessary documents, handled the arrangements with the Probate Referee and all communications with the court, providing us timely updates along the way. She was completely transparent, which was especially important to me.
I found that the Talbot Law Group staff is easy to talk to and extremely professional. Their expertise and in depth knowledge on the matter is evident. I felt confident that they were the best law group to handle our case and to recommend the appropriate option specific to our situation.
Consulting with the Talbot Law Group was the best decision I’ve ever made for my family. They made what seemed to us a complicated situation an easy and smooth process. Not only they helped resolve our issue but they did it in a timely fashion.

Elizabeth and her team were amazing to work with. A relative had passed away, and we were working through a complex title transfer process. I do not live in Shasta County, which made things even more complicated.

I had high hopes since my best friend aunt used to work with this man but idk if age is getting the best of him or lack of a good team or both. Please stay away! The reviews might be fake. I constantly had to ask for updates from start to finish and they ended up charging me for all their mistakes. CompIetly wasted my time by double booking appointments and losing "emails". They were so kind to not take all my money since i decided i had enough of their incompetence. End of day they don't deserve a penny if anything they owe me for wasting my time. I shouldn't be surprised as I have experienced this with every single laywer I have encounter. Sadly going thru a divorce this is the last thing you want to be taken advantage of but I guess this is how it goes. please stay away you don't need this added headache during such a horrible time

Evan Zelig is the best criminal law attorney in Sonoma county. I had someone wrongfully accused of DV, and we called Evan immediately. He educated us on the law and the likely outcome. The charges were dropped in the interim but Evan still supported us as a courtesy on the hearing date to drop the charges and emailed back later to answer more questions I had. He's very responsive and I like that he helped me understand how the laws work for criminal cases so I could understand what was going on. He has reasonable prices (even though I didn't need to hire him) and a great attitude. Don't look elsewhere if you find yourself or a loved one charged with a criminal charge.

Probate is a lengthy process but Amy Byrne is very attentive and responds quickly. She responding quickly, even when flooding occurred in Oroville and she did not have access to her office she maintained close contact with us. She is very articulate and wrote detailed easy to understand responses to all or our questions. She was willing to answer questions beyond the scope of the probate. The probate process is very lengthy in California but she moves things along at a faster pace than many others would and reduces the frustration created by the long process. She is the salve on the wound of a parents death.

I definitely wouldn't recommend her Vilma, she has a very bad attitude. The consultation was $150, they recommended it to me. The way she asks you questions is ridiculously rude, she has no way to start a conversation, the point is that you go to a consultation and find out why you need a lawyer. A very despotic, arrogant person. Definitiva mente no la recomendaría tiene una actitud demasiado mal. La consulta fueron $150 me la recomendaron. I had an original trust dated 1998 and the attorney who had drafted the original trust retired. It had so many amendments to my original trust that even I was confused about how to ensure my wishes were relayed completely.
I met with Joseph and he and his assistant were VERY VERY thorough. They asked for information, my prior attorney never even addressed including two business entities and several additional bank accounts I had not thought to include.

From the first consult Stoller provided a lot more detail of what to expect during probate, schedule, pace, statutory and extraordinary fees than the other consults I had which I appreciated as a granular person myself.
When we were working together he helped me with family dynamics, real estateclosings, ancillary estates and guidance on what is proper as a Probate administrator.
